WOW My kind of game A challenging series of puzzles - look forward to many hours of relaxation and enjoyment playing "Forever". It's NOT for everyone- many would call this game tedious, but this game is for you if you love minute attention to detail and have a dogged determination to find every item. I loved it...could not believe the hour trial was over ! August 13, 2012
Finally something different It takes a bit to get used to this format but I found it refreshing. I definitely need to use the zoom some of the time but am not ashamed! Just wish I could figure out how long it is. August 13, 2012
Challenging HOS Game This is a fun addictive HOS game. Yes objects are tiny, yes same color - but that only makes it challenging! Seems simple at first, but keep playing. Puzzles get more difficult. Loved it. August 6, 2012
Unique HOG Like "Can you see what I see", this game is extremely detailed with objects that may be drawn or in outline but all are findable. The excitement is whether or not you can locate them within the colors of the bigger object. The challenge is whether or not you can do it fast enough for a puzzle piece. Like finding the pieces of a good jigsaw puzzle by remembering where in the pile you saw it, it becomes easier as you continue to revisit the objects. Try it and you'll probably have trouble walking away from it. August 13, 2012
Enjoyable HOG I really enjoyed this game. It is a straight HOG but rather challenging. You do have the option of zooming in on the picture and then using the mouse to navigate around the enlarged view. I found it to be challenging but not frustrating. The music was quite nice, as well. I bought the game as soon as the hour demo was up. August 13, 2012
Enjoyable HOG A totally enjoyable game for HOG lovers. Starts out simple. does get more difficult as game goes on. Probably not for everyone...no storyline.....which is okay by me. Very relaxing, especially for those of us that want a Hidden Object game without the "Adventure" factor. May 16, 2013
Different This game doesn't need to make up a story just to keep you engaged...it just lets you look for stuff! Easy? Not really. The owl is made up of thousands of little items that your brain has to process and decide whether it is one of the items on the list. This would make a great interview test for people who are in graphics or otherwise have to pay attention to detail! If you don't like the dark games that have too much story and dialogue...this is the game for you too! August 23, 2012
YOU'LL NEED GLASSES AFTER THIS ONE I am a die-hard HOG fan. Adventures are ok, but I enjoy myself most and have the most fun when I'm in the middle of a HOS, particularly a good one. I played the demo for this game and it is a must-buy for me. At first, I thought it might be too easy and geared for kids, and it kind of is during the hour I played. But the size and variation of the items that need to be found, as well as the timed tests that come around on a regular basis, make it hard enough for adults. I'm not saying that young ones can't play it. In fact, their excellent eyes might be a lot better at seeing all those tiny objects. The HOS consists of a graphic of an item that is made up of tiny colored graphics of lots of other items. The first item-filled graphic is of an owl. During the demo, I played a chameleon and a domino graphic as well. Successful gameplay opens up additional graphics. The itsy, bitsy items that you are searching for that make up these bigger graphics can lay over a boundary between two colors and end up two colors themselves. The items are graphics only; there are no pictures or realistic-looking items. The sizes also vary and are not proportional. A whale might look like a fly speck while a chicken might be an inch wide. Because of the curves and other lines of the bigger graphic, the items can also be skewed. This certainly adds to the challenge of the game. If you complete a graphic with a good enough score based on time and # of items found, you receive a puzzle piece. When you have collected all of them (a maximum of 4 during the demo), you play the mini game by rotating or switching the pieces until they are in the right place. They do not create a picture, but are squares filled with more tiny objects whose sides must be lined up correctly. Most of the HOS are not timed and you are not asked to find that many items, at least at first. I think the maximum number of items I needed to find during the demo was 9 to finish the scene. There are hints available, probably more useful in the timed scenes, as well as the ability to zoom into the graphic to increase the size of the objects. I have seen a lot of reviews that complain about HO's being too small. If that is a pet peeve of yours, then avoid this game like the plague unless you want to use the zoom in option all the time. But if you are a no-frills HOG lover, this will be right up your alley. September 16, 2015
REALLY Little Things! My demo hr seemed more like a half hr, I was so engrossed in finding those little teeny objects. Thank goodness for the excellent zoom feature, I was able to progress with little trouble. I earned 3 hidden object puzzles within my hr and assembled 2 rotating puzzles. There are so many items within the puzzles and that makes it a good, challenging game. I think it could possibly have endless play value and that certainly makes it a good buy. Very enjoyable and relaxing for me. If you love hidden objects, this would be a great choice...much different than the other HOGs. August 15, 2014
Addictive There were a lot of bad reviews of this game, but after reading a couple of positive reviews by gamers who also enjoyed "Pure Hidden" I thought I'd give this a try. I found this game so challenging that I ended up purchasing it and now am driven to finish it. Because the objects are so small, I do tend to give my eyes a break between puzzles, and I make use of the zoom button. The background music is good for zoning out and searching. Overall, I am enjoying the challenge of this game. August 27, 2012
