Rated 5 out of 5 by from Addictive, Awesome Highly Recommend !! This game had me addicted !!! Good Lengthy Game that held my attention till the very end which left me satisfied-> ( not wanting more or Less) Good selection of mini games some look easy but are strategically challenging H.O Scenes can be switched to a Domino's game (preferred as I felt H.O scenes were are a little to easy) I have purchased hundreds of H.O games and I have to Rate this one HIGH, as it held my interest & stole my spare time. Huge WOW & THANKS to the Creators~ ( I be looking for that red eyed Rat in the sequel) I have a Massive Collection of these games --> Although I may not leave Reviews for every game. This Game is deserving of My Review HIGHLY RECOMMEND...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hit the mark - underwater adventure in a hidden city dealing with the tyranny of a police state Your fiance, Robert Marceau, disappears while on a dive in the ocean exploring a mysterious wreck. You decide to try and find him by diving down to the wreck and see if you can find him. After entering the wreck, you discover it is a vessel from a secret, hidden society based in an underwater city named Eden. Your movements inside the wreck causes it to shift and plunge into a deep ravine causing you to lose consciousness. When you awake, you see a humanoid creature with glowing eyes and dressed in long flowing robes heading into the underwater city of Eden. After entering the city and riding the airlock elevator to the upper main landing, tremors wrecks the elevator trapping you in the city. You find evidence of Robert being here and that the city is under quarantine for some reason. Posters and other debris indicates that something has happened to place the city in a police state patrolled by these humanoid creatures called Legates. It seems a resistance movement has also started against this oppressive group. You must find Robert and save him but to do so means dealing with the Legates and the resistance. The graphics were very well done providing just the right ambience for this underwater adventure. Sounds and voices were excellent and made the game so much more enjoyable. Music was varied and non-intrusive and was very plesant throughout the game. There is a journal that provides a nice summary of the story with notes and an objectives list. The hint button works well and you do receive a map after a bit into the game that shows locations requiring action but is not interactive so you wind up back tracking a bit. The map does show a thumbnail of each location when cursored over. The graphics are so nice that you don't really mind the traveling. There are plenty of HOS and puzzles to do and items found are usually used within a few screens. Puzzles were fairly easy and fit the objective requirements. HOS were list type and included interactive items in each scene including some just for fun. For those who didn't want to do the HOS, there was an option to switch to a domino game instead. As I like HOS, I did not play any dominos so not sure just how it was played. There are also some achievements to earn such as not using hint, no skip of puzzles, etc. And a very well done bonus chapter that provides a beginning story on what led up to the current situation. When you finish the game and return to the start screen, be sure to click on bonus chapter to play it as it does not start automatically.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Underwater Adventure This game is unique and different. I has a good balance of HO and adventure mixed in. In this game you have to find the missing fiance in a variety of different underwater scenes. I plan on buying this game because I was hooked on the 60 minute demo.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What a smashing little game I really enjoyed playing this game. The Graphics are very good and the storyline compelling. The Hos are not difficult and are made quite interesting. The puzzles are not too difficult but are quite interesting. I particularly liked the inclusion of "The last Chapter" An extra playable game section which updated what had gone on before. the what had happened. All in all a thoroughly good enjoyable game, I would recommend this game to any one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This was a great game! I really enjoyed playing this game. It had just about everything you would want in a game, other than the creepiness of a world taken over by wraiths. Once you get past that though, you see people trying to fight to overcome them, and you are helping them and rescuing them. There are HO scenes, but not too many of them. There is a map, but it's not interactive. It just shows you where action is possible. The hint system is excellent. It recharges quickly if used, ready to help you again in seconds if needed. Depending on how you like to play the game, you can be guided by the hint system about what to do next, or you can take notes about objects you find so you'll remember where to use them later on. It's a fairly straightforward game, logically planned. There are lots of mini-games to solve, and a "skip" button if you can't figure it out. There is lots of backtracking involved, so be prepared for that. I was really intrigued by this game, wondering how it was going to be solved. Once I finished the game, I noticed that there was a button called "The Last Chapter", so I clicked on that. It was a bonus chapter #usually only found in Collector's Editions# that told a little bit about the backstory, why one of the characters had gotten involved in all of this. I definitely recommend this game.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Draws You In and Holds You Till the End The story is great and the game play offers the perfect level of challenge. The presentation is polished and it even offers a bonus chapter that follows the second main character. This is defiantly worth a purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good story! Everything was good, but I especially commend: - story was perfect. It's great when other characters are actually doing something, not just extras. - I loved the architecture of Eden. - And I loved the main character - not hysterical, but cool one! :-D - Mini-games was very, very successful. I like the ability to change the puzzle. - The bonus chapter was very nice, I like this man. I usually prefer fantasy. It has been a very pleasant surprise to be absorbed by the play of such an environment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Abyss: Beware This Isn't The Garden Of Eden! I bought this game when it was first released, and re-played the game today. This is one of those games that you can do that because it doesn't seem dated or old and certainly not boring even though I have completed this game before. You are searching for your fiance who went diving and never returned. You discover a strange and beautiful underwater facility, unfortunately it has been taken over by some strange and evil beings called the Legates. This game is pretty easy, most of the items you need will be found nearby, you find a map of the facility but you cannot use it to travel from scene to scene, you'll have to do that old school style. The HOS are slightly interactive, most are list finds but there are also find several of the same items as well as finding fragments that match the picture and when all pieces are found it makes a useful item such as a ladle. You can choose to play a game of Domino's instead of HO, you match pictures on the domino's by right clicking and turning the domino with the goal being to place matching domino's over all of the tree logos on the board. There are achievements to earn and some of the achievements involve the domino game so if you are the type of player who has to earn all of the achievements, you may want to play both games. The mini games are pretty easy such as placing a red, green, blue and yellow wire into the correct connections labeled with different shapes with the goal being to match the shape combination as shown under that specific color. I really enjoyed playing this game, twice, you should give it a try, enjoy!
