Time Relics: Gears of Light is rated 3.6 out of 5 by 32.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely, relaxing game with 17 HOPS (Availalbe at BFG since 2012) Roam around various places, sometimes indoor, sometimes outdoors. A very relaxing journey. GRAPHICS - I liked them! There was a dreamy, soft quality (not blurred), along with great shading. Windowed & Full Screen. Widescreen on my computer had that stretched look, so I was happy to play in Full Screen. Good visibility. HOPS - 17 -straightforward wordlists with 1 - 3 extra hidden. On the whole, objects have excellent visibility. PUZZLES: A handful, enjoyable & all skippable SOUNDS - with 3 adjustments. Pleasant, appropriate and atmospheric. Music is tied in with background sounds unfortunately, but the music is fairly unobstrusive and in many places truly enchanting. I think it helped that the effects sounds were significantly higher than the music, so that although they were tied together, I could keep the music low. MAP: NONE JOURNAL: YES DIFFICULTY SETTINGS - 3 & interchangeable HINT: Guides and leads you INVENTORY - NOT lockable? CHARACTERS: Minimal interaction

Rated 5 out of 5 by from That was fun It's challenging, but not impossible. The cut scenes not too long, the various places fairly straightforward. I was drawn into the game and happy to play along... relaxing and interesting.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from an enjoyable game I thoroughly enjoyed this game. you have to save time, hidden objects were dark and hard at times but you can click as much as you want with out anything getting mad at you which I really like, hint button is really helpful so no map is needed. You save time and defeat evil. I don't use sound so can't rate that but otherwise I found this game time well spent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I wise the time was longer This game is fun to play. I did have to use the hunt button alot, but it was still fun. I wish I could extend the time on this game. I love the graphics in it. It is kind of gothic like. I would recommend the game.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Give this a Try! It's worth it! When I read some of the early reviews I wasn't too sure about how much I would like it...however I am so glad I gave it a try. It is challenging without being frustrating...puzzles are just the right degree of difficulty that you can figure them out without a walkthrough. I am playing advanced mode. The Graphics are nice and so is the voice over. The HO scenes are also not too hard and fairly easy to see. Just the right mix of puzzles and HO so far for me. I definitely recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Enlightning Game!!! I played the demo and found this game to be very good to me. Its about The Gears of LIght that you have to find and save the clocktower which in turn saves the world. The HOS were good and different. The objects that were hidden out of the actual scene you had to find the rune and touch it and the HOS would go back in time and make it appear. Very different, nice. Its not difficult following the game. The mini games were hard but not so hard that you give up because you are so annoyed. The grafics were very good and the music was nice not annoying. This game gets a 5 star from me. If you like a game thats a little different, then this is the game for you. Happy gaming fishies.......

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Game Overall I enjoyed this game although it is very easy to play and was somewhat short. The guardian clock that keeps time in sync has broken and the gears have scattered. You play as the sole remaining guardian and have to locate the gears and restore the clock. Timelines are converging as the story moves along. The graphics are good, but overall dark. The cut scenes were okay, but somewhat choppy. There are lots of iHOS and mini games. The iHOS were good, but a lot of the mini games were repetitive. The music was so-so, but I usually don't like music in games. The voice overs were well done. There is a journal which is useful. You don't have a map, but you don't need one. The game is very linear and you don't go back to areas once you clear them. The game would be really good for beginners. There aren't many challenges and game play is straight forward. I would recommend this game; however, if you're not a beginner, select this game when you want a break from some of the harder, more involved games.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good game but short This is a rather easy game with an interesting story. There are 3 game modes, with sparkles also in the Advanced mode. The graphics are very clear, even in the HOS. The mini-games are interesting and not too challenging. But without skipping, it took me less than 2 hours to finish. I would recommend it with a coupon or as a DD.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from not that bad Has voice over and the graphics are not that bad. Music is ok. The hint button works good and fast. The HOS are good and the puzzles are ok. Some harder than others. You do go back and forth to find items and you do need more than 1 at times to progress. All in all not that bad of a game.
