Mystery Age: Liberation of Souls is rated 2.8 out of 5 by 26.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from A nice game. It was fun, not too hard. It would have been nice if the map had been more helpful in getting you where you needed to be instead of back and forth so much. It has a nice story. The music was good at first but went over the same tune too much. It is nice and clear. There is a lot of beautiful scenery. I did enjoy this game of 5 chapters. Pretty nice for the price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Doesn't Everyone Want to Escape Chaos? I'm on the fence with this game, it's not a bells and whistles kind of game, but it did keep my interest! The graphics are okay and the music wasn't bad at all. What I found interesting was the "out of the box thinking" for the hidden object scenes. There are the typical list finds, But, some of them required you to find several fragmented pieces that then go together to make an axe for example. Then you use that axe to break a jar which then gives you another fragment to piece together a shovel and you than have to use that shovel to get the next piece. The mini games are fairly simple such as rotating discs on a pillar to form a picture. This game has a lot of HOS which kept me entertained, but the tasks in each scene are very easy to figure out which could eventually become boring. But so far so good, enjoy!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Simplistic but fun. This game could have been so good but it looks & feels unfinished. Graphics & scenarios very good but not given full potential. All in all very amateurish & needs some serious professional finishing off. Still, it's fun as far as it goes ... Decent 'help' & map required.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A Nice Enjoyable Game ... Graphics OK, Music Got A Bit Boring, Little Or No General Ambient/Background Sound ... Voice Overs Would Really Have Helped To Fill The Void ... A Nice Playable Game With No Frills ... I Didn't Mind Giving Up A Voucher For It ...

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's just OK There are not a lot of bad things to say about this game, but there are not a lot of good things either. I found the animation lacking, but the background graphics are quite nice. The puzzles are kind of simplistic, but there are a goodly number of them. There is a map, but you cannot use it to navigate. It's worth spending a free game token, but I'm not sure that I would pay full price for it. All in all, it's just OK

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good little SE game...I for one thoroughly enjoyed it! I really liked that there were lots of different tasks to do. The Hogs were nicely done, quite easy and fun rarely had to use my hint for them. There was the final stage where I had no clue what to do and had to go in search of a walkthrough to find the bat's blood, which was a little annoying. Graphics were nice but nothing to write home about. Interesting story line and length was definitely appreciable...which is always my big thing. There are only 5 chapters but they were quite long for the most part. Some of the puzzles were a little challenging as the descriptions weren't very explicit. The map wasn't that helpful so didn't use it. The hint button not much better but still helpful in the areas where things needed to be done, which works for me. The only real issues was the "glitch" with finding a piece of the staff in one of the hogs scenes as it wasn't showing up, and that the picture sorta just stayed whenever a "film" portion of the game would play, and I had to press the skip button to get out...which always make me feel like something didn't quite finish. Still all in all a good SE. I used a freebie which is always a bonus!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Just didn't cut it This game was ok...I read the other comments and almost didn't try it out, but then I've liked other games that didn't get a lot of good comments, so I tried it anyway. Alas, I can only give it three stars. I liked the story line, the graphics were good, the music was ok but I seldom listen to the music in games unless it's exceptional, so I turned it off, but here's the kicker, there's a lot of traveling because it doesn't have an interactive map. That was enough for me. There was a map that showed where you were and where action was needed, but you couldn't jump to that area. Here lately I've bought a lot of good games that have interactive maps, so I was surprised that this one did not. I would have bought this game if not for that. I suggest that you try this game for yourself; like I said, other than the map issue it's an enjoyable game.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Enjoyed it I personally enjoyed it. Not only did it have Hidden Object with name of the objects to find but parts to the object to find. It was different but I enjoyed it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from NICE RAINY DAY OR NOVICE GAME Nice easy game. Pleasant nonintrusive music. Two types of HOS: list based which are nicely detailed and easy to find and fragments which are not difficult and are interactive. Can't fast forward through dialogue even though there is a "Continue" button, which I assumed meant that I finished reading the dialogue and looking at the picture and was therefore ready for the next piece of the story. Graphics were not bad, but not brilliant either. Animation was pretty good. Seemed like once you finished certain scenes and didn't have to go back to them. Saves on some backtracking. Rating 3 1/2 stars; it was pretty easy for me, but I might buy it on sale as a rainy day filler. I don't think this game would be frustrating for novices.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Worth a Freebie!!!! I can rate only a fair game. I have a free game so, I was will, use on this one. Most of the $6.99 games are never really good only when it's the smaller version of the CE. It takes a long time for, a worthy $6.99 game. Please on this big fish.
