Fill and Cross: Trick or Treat is rated 2.7 out of 5 by 26.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Halloween Mosaics If you love logical games, this game is for you. And good time for Halloween even better. The graphics and the sound is fantastic. This is a keeper for me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent Riddle-Type Game I love this type of game - and there just isn't enough of them! I thought Fill and Cross: Trick or Treat was a cute Halloween edition of this type of game - where you are given number clues for the rows and columns and you have to determine which squares to choose to complete the puzzle picture. If you are into this type of game, I would recommend it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice addition to my collection of mosaic games IF you enjoy mosaic games, as I do, this is a nice one to have. You begin with only two mistakes allowed, but as you progress you can buy more--and you buy them with points and "candy" you've earned, not with "real" money, as you have to in Royal Riddles (to which this game bears a marked resemblance). You have to earn enough points to open the next locked level, and I had to go back and replay some in order to earn those points (which I think is good). I enjoy the challenge that this game provides; I'm not even halfway through and the puzzles have become tough, but not impossible. There is no story line to speak of, and the backgrounds are not the best artistically, but since I'm more interested in successfully competing the mosaic, a story and backgrounds that you can't see most of the time are unnecessary. I cannot comment on the music, since I play with the sound turned off. Overall, it's a decent addition to this genre of games and I give it four stars.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good puzzle game The game is a lot like World Mosaics but sometimes the solution is not quite so obvious. There is no story line but I really don't need that anyway. I love these puzzle games. I get so tired of all the HO games.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love this type of game I would love to give this game a five but the game had a few issues. The music became annoying very quickly along with the clanking sound they use for the block out squares. The filling in the squares went a little slow for me, but I loved the level of challenge which starts out very easy and progressively gets harder. I was a little confused what I was supposed to do with the pumpkin in the corner, tried to use it but was unsuccessful. As you play you earn candies to purchase hints, mistakes etc. I really liked this game and will probably buy with one of my credits, but will make sure I don't have the music on.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Halloween Pic Cross! Well it's not the "world" BUT it's still a fun pic cross game with a lighthearted spooky theme. The graphics are okay and the music was a good Halloween tune. The puzzles progress quickly and I did notice that the clicks were very sensitive especially when clicking on an entire row. You are only allowed 2 mistakes before losing and having to restart the level. the object of the game is to figure out which tiles are lit up to form a picture on a grid format. Each horizontal and vertical row have a specific amount of tiles to be lit, after that number has been figured out for instance 2 2 2 1 would mean 2 tiles lit. an x in the next space two more tiles lit an x space and so on. Once you get the hang of it you will probably get quite addicted, enjoy!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Addictive This game is by the same people who brought us Asian Puzzles. There are only 6 Rooms this time, however there are more levels per room than Asian Puzzles. After several levels are played, you can purchase hints and/or misses. I keep playing Asian Puzzles over & over. The only negative I have (4 stars) is that the X's are orange & more difficult to see than an X that is black, otherwise this is a fun game to play as a break from HO games. Give it a try, you might just become as addictive to it as me.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not a Logic Game - Have to Guess I simply LOVE mosaic games and purchase every World of Mosaics game that comes out, so I was excited to see another publisher of this type of game - until I played their games. The free to play game, Royal Riddles, is fairly good, but it forces you to guess where things go especially in rooms 9, 10, & 11.. You should never have to guess on these games, you should be able to figure them out with pure logic. On RR, I figured they were just pushing you to buy the 5 lives, without which you cannot earn all the rewards, but when I played the trial for Fill & Cross, it wasn't long before I had to guess in order to solve the puzzle - I think around puzzle 3, then really bad around puzzle 12. If you guess on these games anyway, you probably will enjoy Mosaic games from this publisher, but for me it is a real Buzz-Killer and I won't be buying any of them. In my opinion - VERY poorly made Mosaic Puzzles. The game itself seems to be okay - music isn't too irksome, but I turn it off on these types of puzzles anyway, the controls are a little different than World of Mosaics so takes a little getting used to (I missed some in RR because of the difference in how they mark finished numbers). I don't really remember the story line because I don't play these for the story. I'm not sure if there even was one. :D The level of challenge is fine. RR only goes to 15:10, and Fill & Cross, halfway through Room 1, hadn't gone past that either - don't know if it does later or not. The difficulty seems fine, especially since you are forced to guess - it would be a pain to have to guess on a 20:20 puzzle like the more difficult ones WofM has. The challenge to me in WofMosaics is trying to finish the puzzle without mistakes or hints and will restart the puzzle if I do either one. It is impossible to do these puzzle without using hints or buying lives, but the game provides a way for you to earn these if you don't mind using them. It is a fun game for what it is and you get a LOT of puzzles for your money, but it is not a true logic game and will frustrate those of us who like true logic game. A true logic game, like Sudoku, has only ONE, UNIQUE, solution that can be arrived at by logic. (not by looking at the picture or guessing or using hints) My suggestion is to try it out if you aren't picky about your logic games, otherwise don't bother. :)

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Okay but hnot true "logic" puzzle This is a fun game, but you still need to guess at answers, which shouldn't be the point of these games. I would like to see an update created where these puzzles involve logic, not guessing.
