Great Game If you like jigsaws this is a great game,,,,you can choose set how many pieces the jigsaw has each time you do it also the shaping of the pieces to add to the challenge,,,,lots of fun January 18, 2015
Excellent Jigsaw Fun! BASED ON ONE HOUR DEMO This is the best to date of the many jigsaw games produced by this (prolific) developer. It is a well presented game, with good graphics and very pleasant and relaxing music. The major difference from most jigsaw games is that this one has so many photos. We have 7 boxes to choose from, each holding roughly 100 photos, which have been taken in the city each box represents. These are well taken shots and cover an interesting variety of aspects of the cities. One unique innovation in this game is the option to change the resolution. Excellent idea! There are also the standard options that you?d expect from an electronic jigsaw game. *make pieces ?stick? to board when they are placed in the right spot ? or not. *set the number of pieces from roughly 12 to as much as 350. *change the cut of the pieces *rotation or not Within the puzzle, there are further options *background colour *display an image and/or ghost of the board *option to sort and/or show only edges You also have a hint button and a magnifier, and a box for keeping some items separate. And there is a point scoring system, although you are not under any type of time constraints. As I say, this is my new favourite jigsaw game, but if I had one thing I could improve, it would be that the photos had captions. I know the Eiffel Tower when I see it, but most of the images were new to me, and I would have liked to have known what I was looking at. November 9, 2013
An Unexpected Gem This is a very much improved game from a developer whose previous efforts have been flawed chiefly by their small number of puzzles. They've included many more here of good quality (although some night photos seem slightly blurred when cut up). The major downers for me were the small cursor and the popping to the top of pieces you'd thought you'd stacked. But those are minor in a very good game. I could only wish they'd added more cities, but that, too, shouldn't keep you from trying the game. I found the music annoying after a while so muted it but the sounds are pleasing and appropriate. You can change piece shape and number and get as much help as you want for solving. A worthy entry in he jugsaw game and worth a try. November 6, 2013
Better than most available on BFG I'm a big fan of pictures of the world theme. I like pictures of locals and buildings of New York, Paris & Tokyo. While most of the pics are good-some of the outdoor pics are a little blurry. The biggest plus is that this one has a lot more pics than the other ones that came out in the past. Overall, I'm pleased-but it could be better. November 26, 2013
Jigsaws From Around the World I'm not a fan of of these pictures although I'm sure there will be plenty who do. I enjoy animal and landscape pictures better. With that being said this game has wonderful features such as options for only showing border pieces, sorting and even changing the color of the background. You can have the picture ghosted on the background or show a picture of the puzzle. You can do puzzles of various sizes from New York to London and never have to worry about missing pieces, enjoy! Almost a good thing This has a lot going for it, good variety of puzzles, ability to customize, nice colors. It has one thing though that prevents me from purchasing or recommending it. Every time you add a piece it flashes. Very irritating. November 6, 2013
A Series of Postcards There a thousands of inspirational photographs in the world, and while these were nice, I felt like they were the standard shots one sees in tourist shops everywhere. The game play is also pretty much the same as other jigssaw puzzles and functions well. But in the end, I did not even finish the demo as I had trouble finding an image to which I wanted to dedicate much time. November 13, 2013
not enough pieces Hello, maybe it's just me but I like puzzles with 250-1000 pieces. I find it very silly to do a puzzle with 12, yes, 12 pieces...unless this is geared toward children where's the challenge. I'll keep looking for a game with more of a challenge- like my puzz 3ds. Did like the huge selection though, maybe they should give us the choice of how many pieces we want to do in a puzzle.... November 23, 2013
Architecture, Architecture, More Architecture and a Few Sites. I didn't even play the puzzles after examining what the game had to offer. Nothing. There are 7 countries to choose from, 13 pages in each country, 4 puzzles per page. You do the math. There is a TON of architecture, a few puzzles of that country's specific tourist sites but nothing that would make it "human". No dancers in bright costumes, no flowers, where are the animals????? I love animals? Nothing to give each of the country's their own ethnic flair. Very disappointing. Not a purchase for me and cannot recommend this bland discourse of horrible puzzles. What a waste of time and money, August 25, 2014
