Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another great game. This is a game I played when it first came out which was a while ago because I finished the first demo and still had time left, so I went back in using another profile and played again. I don't know why I haven't bought this one yet but I probably will. The graphics are pretty good and the movements are believable. Only thing I'm not crazy about are the characters. Although well drawn, they act and speak like they don't have any brain or common sense. Again no sense of urgency in any emergency. Oh well. Story line is nice but typical, you know, only you can save the worlds etc., etc. What I really enjoy in this game is the HO's and the mini games. I would buy this game just for those. I recommend this for HO fans even though it isn't real intense and is more a fun type.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Best Amaranthine Voyage Yet! (and yes that includes the fourth one). This is a very, very pretty game. A definite buy for me, although I haven't quite decided between CE and SE. Apparently there is a bonus chapter, so I'm leaning towards longer gameplay with this one. The HOS are filled with interactive objects and finish with a riddle (love it). Some of the puzzles/mini-games are confusing and weird, but most of them are entertaining. Like I said before, graphics are super pretty and VOs are better than most of the games out there. Background music is good, not great, but not annoying. This is a great game to relax to.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What a Blast of a Game! I was a little disappointed with the second Amaranthine Voyage, so I was a bit hesitant about getting this one. I'm glad I did! This game is full of everything you could want in an HO & Adventure game. There are various ways to find the HO's, & a huge variety of mini-games. Most of this was not a challenge, but there were a few things that threw me off. But that just made me want to keep playing to see what was next. The game has a custom setting so that the re-charge time & skip mini-game can be as long [or short] as you want. The graphics are just amazing. The voice overs are excellent; however the characters were a little stiff. Trust me, it's not that big of a deal. The game is very long, so don't think you can just sit down & breeze right through this in a couple of hours. There is a very good map [that can also be changed in the Custom mode], & that's good because there is some jumping around. It's refreshing to have so many HOS in this game. Some are in places that you wouldn't expect. As for re-play value, I'd put it at the top of the list. Since the story line is quite deep, one would be able to play this several times before knowing it inside out. There is also an alternative ending! Definitely.Get.This.Game!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from DON'T PASS THIS ONE BY. I JUST FINISHED PLAYING THE DEMO AND I HAVE FOUND THIS GAME TO BE A PURE DELIGHT. THE HOS WERE DIFFERENT THAN THE NORM. AND THERE WAS NOT A WHOLE LOT OF HANDHOLDING. THE DIFFICULTY CAN BE CUSTOMIZED. THE MAP IS HELPFUL AND TRANSPORTABLE. THE GRAPHICS ARE BEAUTIFUL AND THE STORY WAS FUN AND ENTICING. I CAN'T BELIEVE I MISSED PURCHASING THIS ONE AS A CE. NOW I AM GOING TO PURCHASE THIS ONE AS A SE. I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY ANYONE WOULD GIVE THE NEGATIVE RATINGS.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another excellant game I enjoyed this story very much. The hints were very helpful. The games were medium hard and the HO were a different mix of silluette and regular HOs . I enjoyed the riddles as well. Overall, I feel this game had a lot of interesting elements and was long enough to warrant a purchase. The story ending room open for a sequel. The story had two choices for the heroine and that was unusual.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A poetic journey through Anther The devs created an entirely new legend of a far off land long ago (with influences from Greek mythology). The music is appropriate to the theme. Graphics are excellent, with a lot of special effects to imbue the magical kingdom of Anther. HOS are varied, with interaction, and staggered into 2-3 stages. Mini games are mostly reasonable, with only a few challenging ones. Tasks to perform are not always intuitive, but the Hint button and teleport map will rescue you. This is an enjoyable game, that is quite long, and transports you to a magical kingdom. I especially enjoyed the poetry, which is often not encountered in the typical HO game, and makes it a notch superior to the usual mundane dialogue and narrative seen in this game genre. The only thing I found didn't make sense was the squeaky, weak, voice of "Torment", which I expected to be a deep baritone voice. This is a minor complaint compared to all the well done aspects of the game.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from another good game in the series i didn't enjoy this one as much as some of the others. there is a custom level and interactive map. hints are good. you are the chosen one to take down torment who is a being that needs to be stopped before it can get to earth. it is a rather long game so you get a good game for the money. great graphics and HO scenes are pretty clear. i feel sure there will another game in series.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good game Overall a very good game. The objectives/obj completed were annoying and I tried to turn them off couldn't. I played in super hardcore and found it was just the right amount of challenge. 2014
