Customer Reviews
The Mirror Mysteries: Forgotten Kingdoms is rated 3.4 out of 5 by 105.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from HUGE ON FANTASTICAL PERSPECTIVES- Great, relaxing game, if a little short - 12-15 HOPS (Available at BFG since 2013) Get really close up to giant, mechanical, steam-punk machinery, and watch components and tubes towering away into the distance. Lovely! It's nice to feel really small, surrounded by vast spaciousness. Clear, realistic graphics accompanying the unrealistic, airy, fantastical settings! Collect glass shards from 3 worlds, and escape back to your own in the 4th. STORY - World 1-Steampunk. World 2-Glorious, lightfilled and breezy, watery, nature-kingdom. World 3 - Asia and dragon statues, more water. World 4. Medieval-looking Persian kingdom. GRAPHICS - A mix, but all good and clear and appealing. Obviously where different landscapes are used, different techniques have been applied to create each world, and so they're slightly different from region to region. The steam-punk world is super sleek and sharp! HOPS -12-15 FROGS ie fragmented parts of objects must be found. Once found, they compile themselves into an item, which can then be used. Mainly useful items to be used in the scene. PUZZLES: A good handful and all skippable. SOUNDS - with 3 adjustments. Music is suitable and totally separate. MAP: NONE JOURNAL: YES DIFFICULTY SETTINGS - 3 interchangeable. Although the beginning choices have a selection of Casual or Advanced, when you go to options later, there is also a Custom setting. HINT: Guides and leads you INVENTORY - Remains visible at all times CHARACTERS: Minimal interaction. You can mute any voice if it starts to become annoying. You'll get a "menacing" voice of the main character trying to destroy worlds, that occurs as you transition from worlds and make progress. A strange owl that's had too much caffeine, and a quirky upbeat Hummingbird (the last two are only for moments though).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The most fun you can have with a mirror run amok. if you haven't played the first one, I suggest you play that one first to get the history behind this story line. It is as fun as this one, but This game steps up the amazing factor. The fun factor: what can I say? I just ended the game, it just came out and already I want them to put out a third. I love this series. it is four chapters in a storyline. each has amazing HOG characters that help , the visual and sound ups the bar for other HOG Games. It is crystal clear, finely detailed they have a color palate the size of the universe and they know how to use it. Nothing is clashing or gory. You feel like you are really there. AND GET THIS--- if you forget something, as long as you stay in that world, you can go forward or backward through each scene to find each missing piece. the level of challenge is fantastic. They have two choices: easy and advanced. the easy was challenging enough to keep you interested and playing in a comfortable level for two to three evenings. Absolutely play this game.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from another good mirror mystery game played casual, no/low sound. i had some technical problems but i just started over with a new profile. i have let tech support know about it. you are trying to solve the mystery of the mirror again. hint/skip charge pretty fast. hints really help and pretty much guide you. sequel??????? i feel sure!!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from a fun and different game I enjoyed both of these games. the level of challenge was good, great hint button, I liked finding objects in scenes although some were dark and very hard to find but the hint button works great and you have to think about what you are finding and where the items you put together go which I enjoy. the hint button tells you where to go which is a nice feature as opposed to there is nothing to do here which is so frustrating. I don't use sound so can't rate that but overall an enjoyable game for me and I recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This file size is larger than all Collector's Editions so far. And it shows by the graphics. Great voiceovers. Story however, is three separate adventures, but this works for a standard game.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome matching I wish there were more of these games. My favorite part of the game is where you find pieces of objects to use to open other items and areas.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVED IT!! This wasn't a very long game to finish, but I loved so much about it. The music is wonderful and changes between "kingdoms". If you played the first one, you will have a better idea how the game works. I love that the hidden objects were different than usual, which is a nice change when you play a lot of HOGs. I just wish the game had more "mirrors" I could have played this for days! Happy Gaming

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My kind of game :) Thought it was an normal length on this game easy to play within two hours, I thought the graphic was very beautiful and liked the fantasy of the other worlds. First game I never got stuck in and fun for every age not to hard puzzles and hidden objects in a different way, I recommend this game :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent hidden object game No regular finding the same old same old stuff. You get to find pieces of things you really need to finish the game. This is sometimes harder but more rewarding by far. Music and storyline was excellent; I just wished it was a little longer in content.
