Grim Facade: A Wealth of Betrayal is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 22.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from watch out fire knight you a detective that is called in to solve the mystery of the "dead" fire knight that has shown up again after all these years. you find that senor ramirez's wife, rosa, has been charged with taken the sword that keeps the fire knight at bay and she is being looked for so they can hang her. her husband, at first, believes she is guilty until he is shown otherwise. she is on the run and you are trying to find her to protect her from the fire knight. there is a custom level and an interactive map but doesn't help much. the hints do though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from ERS, You've Won Me Back! I had quit purchasing ERS games because they were all too easy and predictable. This one caught my eye, however, and I decided to give ERS another try. Sure glad I did. This game was good from the beginning, but got better & better as it went on. A LONG game for me, but part of that is because I very rarely use hints. My goal in playing these is to figure things out on my own. That's the fun, and it's a good workout for my brain. Having said this, I used the hint button twice, which means it wins big points for challenging me. In my opinion, ERS has the best music in their games. It's not usually annoying, and I like how it changes with different scenes. Music can add so much to games! So, ERS has won me back for now, but it's still tied with Eipix. Let's hope the next game is just as good!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Game It started out slow for me, but the scenes kept getting better and better. Good series.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun and challenging Beautiful graphics and fun to play. I will state that there are several mini-games where I could NOT skip - despite there being a skip button. So I was either bored with some or so challenged that I had to check out the Walk-Through - but even the Walk-through directions were not specific enough sometimes so I did have to Use My Brain.......... But overall, I did get past those mini-games & enjoyed the complete game.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Interesting Story, Smooth Gameplay Another moody and beautiful entry in the Grim Facade series. I like these as they border just the edge of Romance, but have a thriller/mystery focus. Pros: Intuitive game play, games easy to medium, only a few HOS but clear and easy to see. Twists in the story and fun characters. I like the "save up coins" purchase aspect. Cons: minor stuff - some HOS objects have to hit "just right" to make them pick up, the end turns quickly into "go here, get that". Overall a great time spender.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just kept getting better! Based on the whole game. I was not sure after playing the free trial that I wanted to buy the game but am so glad I did. It started out a standard story of a lost loved one with horror/occult overtones but turned into much more--a real mystery with many surprises. The action stayed related to the story and moved it along throughout. This is a problem I'd had with other ERS games, so much so that I was hesitant to buy. 2 games that I bought that started out so promising deteriorated into meaningless unlocking and back and forth object interactions, but not so with this game. I liked that Spanish setting too. The best ERS yet!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun Game Puzzles and mini games are different, but not hard. Lots of choices in the settings. Give the demo a try and decide for yourself.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quite a Good Game I enjoyed this game, it was fun but not the best game in the world..the storyline was ok, but I have to say I liked the HOG's in this..overall, fun but could have been better

Rated 4 out of 5 by from GOOD PUZZLES AND "HOS" Although this is an ERS game, it does not seem to be up to their normal super-great standards. That's not to say the game isn't a good one; it's just not a great one. Starts out a little slow but gets better with play. Graphics are good, just not the usual outstanding artistry. Storyline is a good detective story in the 1800s and graphics seem to depict that period well. Not a lot of HOS - interactive game instead (such as feed the animals in the HOS scene). Puzzles are the usual variety and you can choose hard or casual for each, which is a nice touch.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not exceptional but nice game The fourth game in the Grim Facade series by ERS --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Another Grim Facade game! These days I dont buy games from this dev. because their games are predictable and seem to be pushed into sale just for the sake of it. The storyline has significantly decrease in quality, and the only thing improving is the graphics. However what I like most from this series is that the games are set in Europe. This time it is in Spain. The villain is a headless horseman, but there's a twist here. The ghost has the head, it's looking for its sword. The ghost face graphic is scary looking, I admit, and it is potrayed several times. But the ghost itself came out randomly, making it unscary(?). One good thing about this game is the way the investigation goes although sometimes there're unnecessary tasks that seem to be there to longer the game HO and puzzles are diverse, not the usual finding object stuff. VO is fine but I think don't fit the characters and location. I think they use adult again to voice out children. Graphic is better than their old games but cutscenes are weird, they always ended abruptly like a scene from a bad movie. Overall if you dont mind the graphics it's a rather good game, worth to try.
