Not bad: Can get boring I have the game on my handhelds, and liked the game a lot. The game at times can get kind of boring. It can take a longtime to get the game going. Other than that, it's not a bad game, in the farming genre. September 3, 2014
I don't understand bad reviews I've played Farmville, Farmville2, Hay Day and others. I have found this to be enjoyable so far and I'm on level 14, which is still early, but some people voting 1 or 2 stars say the gave up after just a few minutes or hours of the game. The one thing that lets me down about most farm sim games (or sim games, in general) is how fast you need to start forking out money to keep the game going until it gets to a point of just buying pretty pixels and not really achieving goals. My Farm isn't so bad at that. It gives you just enough that if you DO decide to fork out real money, you feel justified. I don't know why people think it's too slow. Have you ever experienced REAL farming!? ROFL :) August 11, 2016
Farm Life Is Stressful Turns out farming isn't as fun as I thought it would be. You have left the smog and city life behind to become a farmer. The object of this virtual reality game is to complete specific goals given to earn experience points, such as buying 5 hens or collecting 50 eggs. You can buy all of the usual farm animals, hen's, duck's, rabbit's, turkey's, goats, pigs, sheep, donkey's, cow's and horses but you must manage your money wisely to be able to purchase different types of food for each animal and housing so the animals don't run away. When you purchase an animal, you choose what size you want to buy and what color you want, each animal has been prenamed. You will need to feed the animal several times to fill up their food meter and after they eat you need to brush them until they sparkle. If an animal gets sick, you will need to purchase food with medicine to cure them. Each animal produces different sellable goods such as eggs, milk or even a fattened up animal and you use that money to purchase more animals, food or housing. There is a timer that allows you to accelerate through the day, but you will have to feed the animals quickly or they will get sick and not produce. This game claims to have excellent graphics, but I wasn't very impressed, you can scan or scroll over the entire farm when you move the cursor up, down, left and right, in order to find all of the wandering farm animals without an enclosure, Enjoy! Better than the safari game, but not by much I'm not a fan of cheap 3-D graphics - they make me queasy. This game has just that. Like its safari themed predecessor, this game is about raising animals, cleaning them up and selling their produce or "fattened" animals to make money. Feeding animals is a real chore - understandable in real life, not so fun in a game. When you have 20 chickens and you're trying to pick out which ones need food (because you can't afford to waste food on satiated chickens) but they stand practically on top of one another... well... you can imagine some frustration that you can't just throw down the feed and let them peck as a flock. Making money is VERY slow as you start with selling eggs and duck feathers for low coinage, but it's not as slow as the safari game. Try to get goats fast because their milk will earn you better money. Ok, that being said, Both games require the player to have restraint in buying animals and pens (restraint is not a forte of mine in resource management games) or else you cannot afford feed and your animals will not produce. There is no screen rotation that I can find, so sometimes animals can be hidden. There's an annoying bell sound throughout most of the game like you're wearing a cow bell (and no, I didn't get cows yet). It's just an average game and I'd expect to see this more 10 years ago than today with its developmental style. September 3, 2014
Cute but----- This is a cute little game, but the quality is not good. The game lacks good instructions and it didn't work well on my computer at all. I would have loved it if it worked better. I cannot recommend this game. sorry September 3, 2014
So so sad This game has a huge amount of potential but it feels more like a proof of concept than an actual game. It has the same fun factor as watching paint dry and that's really sad because I really gave this game an honest chance even though the other reviewers put it down. The constant clicking to feed is just horrible, if the devs at least just change that to a swipe effect like the brushes it'll go very far to fixing the biggest frustration in the game, finding an animal to feed. I really hope the devs can do something with this game because I'd hate for it to be a failure when they've clearly worked really hard on it. September 4, 2014
Confusing This game is hard to navigate with only minimal instructions. I normally enjoy tm games but I played less than 15 min and deleted it September 3, 2014
What do I do now? This starts out with drawings describing the pitfalls of city life and how you find a small farm to buy. You meet your neighbours Horace and Clementine. Clementine tells you that you have 500 coins and a hen. You are told what button to click to get grain to feed the hen. You do so until the satisfaction meter is filled and then nothing. You're just left in limbo. Maybe someone who is familiar with this kind of game could figure out what to do. For someone like me who isn't, it was game over before the 5 minute mark. this is no fun game is slow and boring.only played for 5 minutes September 5, 2014
Farm gone wrong! Sorry, but everything about this game is not fun. I have loved farm games for a long time and played just about all of them. This game made absolutely no sense. The tutorial is nonexistent and you really need it here since nothing is intuitive. After fumbling around with zero progress I gave up. Also, while you are trying to figure out how this game works, your neighbors keep grunting at you for not doing anything right. Sigh... I really hate to leave such negative reviews, but this game is just not for me....sorry! September 3, 2014
