Fierce Tales: Feline Sight Collector's Edition 3.5 5 54 54
The Cat's Meow Sure does seem like there's an abundance of feral cat stories lately, the town of Snowville (how original) is being stalked by snow leopards, even worse, the domestic cats have abandoned their warm cozy beds to join these fierce felines. As a veterinarian you find this behavior abnormal, and begin to investigate the felines rhyme and reason for attacking the townsfolk, someone is controlling them but who and why? This isn't my favorite Fierce Tale, but it is a solid game with a great story and very detailed graphics. The Hidden Object Scenes are a mixture of interactive list finds, silhouetted shapes and placing items back into the scene correctly. The mini games are fairly easy such as sliding dancing ballerinas until they are on their matching colored pedestal, there are also more detailed puzzles that require you to turn all 9 buttons green but when you push one button, others are affected. The Collectors Edition has 25 hidden sketches, a Cats Shelter room, concept art, music, videos, and achievements, a built in strategy guide and a bonus game. In my opinion there isn't enough extras to persuade me and I will wait until the Standard Edition comes out to compare, enjoy! September 4, 2014
Great additon to this Series! Love it! Try it! This is the 3rd of the Series. Each game can play on it's own...with out playing the others. But, I have to collect all in a Series I like! And I really love this game and series! Some of the best animation of humans I've seen in a long time. Great graphics also. I will be getting the CE...I think it's worth it. IMO For sure try the game...it's most definitely worth your time. And if your a fan of this one...be sure to check out the other 2 in the series. I highly recommend this game...with the exception to those who don't like cute animals in the games. I love them! Well done to the Developers! Theme: Mystery Venture of the Snow Leopard Yes: Map/Jumping Yes:Task/No Diary Yes: Achievements/Collectables Yes: Custom Cursor Modes: Easy/Hard/Advanced/Custom Sounds: Music/Voice overs/ Effects I rate this game: ?FINE SWINE? Great game! Best graphics and storyline. All the bells and whistles! The best and greatest of games! I love it! ?These are my terms & ratings" for hogs, I hogs, frogs & adventure games. ?DIVINE FINE SWINE? The absolute best of the best! It has everything you want in a game and things you didn?t know you wanted in a game. It is a rare beauty and a must have! Beyond expectations! I really love it! ?FINE SWINE? Great game! Best graphics and storyline. All the bells and whistles! The best and greatest of games! I love it! ?PIGLET? Good game. I like these little gems! This game is for true lovers of these types of games. ?PORK BELLY? May be a likable game for some, but not for everyone. It?s just mediocre. ?TROTTERS? Don't run away with this pig?s foot. LOL ?PIG DOWN? Rolling in the mud! Don?t go near it or you'll get soiled. ? ? (o) September 4, 2014
Great addition to the series! Based on the demo, this is a great addition to the Fierce Tales series!. Snow leopards with green shining eyes appear in a vet's yard and recruit her cats for ??? Terrific graphics, great story, and the CE has achievements and collectables, as well as the usual wallpaper, bonus chapter etc. I have enjoyed all the games in this series...my only warning is that if you really don't like cats, this might not be the game for you! ^--^ September 4, 2014
"ANOTHER GREAT GAME !!" I seldom purchase CE games because I don't like being distracted from the story line by looking for this or that. That being said, I only found half or the kittens or papers. :( I demoed this game as a CE and just couldn't wait for the SE version. I love games with snow, and the leopards were beautiful. I loved just watching them walk or jump. The graphics are top notch, but I do have to admit that the music got on my nerves about 2/3 rd the way through the game and I muted it. I've never done that before. It was just the same sound over and over, and just didn't settle well with me. I thought the story line was good. I didn't have a hard time following it. There were a couple surprises thrown in that kept you on your toes. I would rather have that then a story with no surprises at all. Another thing I did love about the game was the fact there was no running back and forth for one item. You mainly covered 3 - 4 areas at a time. The map was very helpful if you weren't sure at times what to do next. I hate those games that keep you running around to make the game longer, and then you loose interest in it completely. When I do purchase a CE I usually don't play the bonus game. I get bored if the game is too long and by the time I finish the main game I'm ready for it to be over. However, with this game I didn't want it to end so I played and enjoyed the bonus game also. The main game concluded without the bonus, but the bonus game told the story of how the people became snow leopards to start with. It was a nice added plus. Great job to the developer! Can't wait for the next game in the series. September 15, 2014
My Favorite Animal And how lovely it is to see the beautiful rendering of the snow leopard in this interesting game. The challenge level is customizable; the storyline is compelling; the artwork very well done. Many, many cut scenes, which I don't usually like, but they are brief. One drawback is that I never use the tutorial; therefore, I did not know until almost the very end that I was supposed to be looking for hidden house cats in each scene. So I only found two! There's a kitty room in the bonus menu where you collect all your kitties, and I imagine there's some kind of reward for finding them all. Happily, I enjoyed this game so much that I don't mind replaying and looking for all of them. Gameplay is logical; puzzles range from very easy to very challenging, but none are boring. I'm pretty sure snow leopards are only found in the Himalayas, but here they are in the woods of America, historically entwined with the lives of the Native Americans. (It must be magic!) If you love cats of any size, you'll enjoy this game quite a bit. (Personally, it helped immensely that the cat a lady brings you to care for at the beginning of the story looks exactly like my Maine Coon, Junipurr!) You also have two cats who mysteriously run away; never fear, you'll be reunited. Fun game; I recommend and look forward to playing again. If I have a gripe, it's that there isn't a wallpaper that shows a nice close-up of one of the beautiful leopards. I would have thought that was a given...oh, well. September 14, 2014
Fierce Tales Feline Sight is a great sequel In Blam! Games' Fierce Tales: Feline Sight, you play a country vet of dubious credentials, unless you think taking a stranger's "sick cat" and giving it a random tablet of "cat medicine" you had laying around on your dusty shelf is the pinnacle of modern medicine. Seems the whole area has had some feline problems, with house cats running away in droves, and a pesky leopard infestation terrorizing the townsfolk. The local authorities are pretty quick to demand you find out what's going on, which seems like a lot to ask from someone who frequently gets locked inside her own house. Seems a mysterious woman is controlling the colossal cats, and in addition to sabotaging your progress to almost comical extent, they're even abducting certain locals. Mightn't it have something to do with the local legends about the native people being driven off the land? It mightn't. But it also might have something to do with two sisters and a love triangle, too. If you can survive the strange woman stopping you at every turn #and your character's own questionable judgement#, you might be able to get to the bottom of things. Which you should definitely do, because a town without cats is no town at all. Fierce Tales: Feline Sight While I have a fairly high tolerance for "adventure game logic", and nobody really expects a game about magical snow leopards sabotaging ski lifts to adhere to reality, Feline Sight's objects and their uses feel both perfunctory and ridiculous at times. An "alpinist" pill to boil water in a geyser, whereupon placing a plate loosely atop the opening will cause it to erupt? That's not how that works. That's now how any of that works! Still, while perhaps too convenient, the gameplay is actually packed with variety. Not only are there a plethora of puzzle types, but each hidden-object scene typically has a different mode of play, so they feel varied in addition to being nicely spaced out too. Items often get used more than once, which is always a good thing for those of us who hate games that make you hunt for "something sharp" an instant after they make you discard a knife. There's an awful lot of "find something to feed the cute little critter so it'll give you something", and that pilot seems pretty easily convinced a woman he's never met before knows how to fly his plane through a snowstorm just because she has a plane ticket, but hey... I guess it would be a pretty short adventure if you were expected to produce credentials for everything. The plot takes a while to get moving, largely because every little bit of progress is hampered by the incredible leopard whisperer and her magical cats, but it ends up being a bit more twisty than you might expect. Things pick up considerably once you finally reach town, and the gorgeous artwork helps suck you in, along with great little details like the way your inventory ices over when you go outside. Fierce Tales: Feline Sight will take you a solid four hours or so for the main game, with another hour for the bonus chapter if you pick up the Collector's Edition, making it just beefy enough to take up a relaxing evening or two. Though some players may find it a bit over the top, those of you looking for an eye-catching game with variety to burn and a mystical plot of revenge should make a point of checking out the demo. Also check out Fierce Tales The dog's heart. Bravo Bigfish for this excellent HOPA. September 7, 2014
Here kitty kitty This game was more than I expected it to be. First I thought I was going crazy with all those cats crying, then I was seeing cats everywhere; yes everywhere! Come to find out the producers of this game decided to hide small little cats and paper scripts though out the game. So if you think you see a cat in the tree, take that second look. It might be a cat in a tree so click on it and earn another achievement point. Again.... Love the game HOP varies which is good. Music is a little weak, almost fell asleep once (looking for those cats with that slow music). But all in all wonderful game out of the others in the series. Keep them coming BF. September 9, 2014
Another Amazing Fierce Tail! I own both previous games and found them to be some of the most enjoyable games ever. I knew this one would be good too. It sure is! From storyline to great HOs I was not disappointed. The "custom" play option is a great addition. I like my adventures easy and enjoyable, with the option to increase the difficulty level anytime or for the game replay. This one fit the bill and I whole heartedly recommend this as a "Buy Now" software. Enjoy! September 4, 2014
Fiercely enjoyable game ! such a pleasure in playing this game... excellent storyline, very good characters and voices, music as well...HOS are not boring, you have to use your mind to know what to do but you havery efficient help with map and hints... I highly recommend this game September 4, 2014
