Rated 5 out of 5 by from To Quote the Game: Awesome! I always love an original concept when it comes to gaming. This combo of Match-3 and Tower Defense requires you to shoot oncoming enemies by making matches in order to shoot them; you have to keep an eye on where they are and match at the same level. There are power-ups - I'm all about the power-ups - as well as a city you build along the way. The game is simple, once you get the hang of it, and there's the genius of it: the ability to shoot enemies with matches is addictive. If you're either a TD or M-3 fan, you can't do better than this game. It was an instant buy for me - maybe it will be for you, too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent This is my all time favourite way to play Match 3. If you like Match 3 and kind of like to have a bit of a battle as well, then this is for you. You build and upgrade your buildings to provide you with spells, archers and druids etc. to help with your battles and you can keep playing any completed battle scene to boost necessary requirements to upgrade. The enemy attacks your fort and wherever you make your match on the board is where the missiles exit the wall. A match of 4 going down will wipe out more enemies as it covers 4 parts of the wall. A match of 4 going across will send out a stronger missile but will only affect the enemy attacking at that one part of the wall. The match 3 board gives out power ups which can either be resources or wall repair. As this is my particular favourite way to play match 3 I can't 'sell' this game enough, but it won't suit everyone. You do need to take notice at the very start of the notices that appear and the policies you make at the end of each battle can affect the game play as well

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A triple gem indeed. This is one of those games that you get so engulfed in that before you know it - there is that pesky 'your trial period has expired' popup. LOL. This is definitely a cross between match-3 and tower defense. But there is also a 'building' aspect to it as well. There is a LOT going on in this game. You will need to pay a lot of attention to different aspects in order to succeed. You essentially start out with a new city. Then you choose buildings to build in order to provide items/resources. IE, farm, armory, lumber mill etc. You gather resources at these places to purchase items to use in 'battle mode'. In 'battle mode', you play a 'match 3' game where your 'matches' fire weapons on intruders. Your fortress is your match-3 board. You research things like spells, weapons etc to use in game and you use towns people to complete certain tasks. You also enact 'policies' to advance your town. These, IMO, policies get annoying after a while. It is a great game, no doubt. But it is also very complex - a lot going on and it may very well take you more than the demo to get the hang of it. But it is definitely worth a buy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from QUALITY GAME Thank you thank you Frogdice for this special game, I'm a time management fan and there are plenty out there that are just "okay". This is brilliant. Graphics are good, it is not an easy game as you have to amass wood, food and ore to upgrade your factories and that takes time. You have a choice of defenders to help you along in the match 3 attempt to generate enough "zaps" to kill your enemies, and these choices are extended when you upgrade your town hall. I've been playing it for hours now and I don't think I can stop. Thank you for putting thought into the development of this game, in order to hold the interest, which it certainly does. OK, back to it!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Match 3/Tower Defense = Fun! I believe this is the sequel to Tower of Elements (which was also fun and hard) and I like this one even better. You have to be quick to find the matches/pick up gold, scrolls, etc/use weapons and your two "people" you can choose. There is a lot to this game, and I will be playing it for a long time to come. Thank you BF for releasing more of these games!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from How Will You Rule Your City? This is the most unusual and complicated game I have seen in a long time, complicated but not difficult. You must build your city, name your city, rule your city, defend your city and set policies. The coolest part about making policies is that your decisions about the policies will affect the story as well as the culture of your kingdom! There are three types of buildings, Lumber mill, Foundry, and Farms are grouped together, Academy and Armory are the second group, Town Hall, Granary and Blacksmith are the last group. Each building has it's purpose in society and will allow your kingdom to flourish, academically, as well as being able to support the population with food and housing. There is a lot of information available on each building, so you will have a lot of reading to do in order to make logical decisions. Let's not forget about defense, you will have to play Match 3 games in a battle royale form. Each region is color coded by difficulty from red to green. When you make matches of at least 3 elements, weapons will fire to the right of the screen where the enemy is approaching from, the weapons fire from the point of the match. The enemy will also drop scrolls and other artifacts that you need to pick up before they disappear as well. If you make larger matches, you will receive bonuses such as, Triads which are currency created under King Rands rule(match 4), Medic runes which will heal your tower of some damage (match 5), Gem tiles that are worth many Triads (match 5), Bombs that will destroy a small number of adjacent runes (match 6), and Explosives that destroys the entire board (match 7). Before each battle, you will visit the armory and drag and drop spells, gear, and troops into the slots to use them or deploy them during battle, the spells will need to be researched before they will be available in a battle. Once the battle is over and you return home, the work isn't finished, there will be important decisions and policies to make. What will you do with the prisoners of war? What do you do with the baby ducks that have taken up residency? You will get to choose the outcome and decisions from a list of suggestions ranging from brutal, to peaceful outcomes, and each decision will lead you down a different path or culture. You will need to upgrade the older buildings to support the ever increasing populations, again this all depends on how you choose to rule your kingdom. I know all of this sounds confusing, but if you like out of the box thinking and are ready to try something totally new, you just might love this game as well as the rest of us, enjoy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Game! ReignMaker is the best match 3 that I ever played, I love my city(especially the one has a blue rooftop ) and my citizens. I also love the policy part,it is quite interesting when the policy results come out and the city will has some changes. The M3 part is a bit tough, but still enjoy it, this is a game which is worth to buy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Reigned Me In I love match 3 games, and this one has a lot more to it than just making matches. You can adjust the volume of the sound effects, music, monsters, and voice overs. There are also power up and display quality options. You name your city before beginning the game. There are 3 regions and 3 choices of difficulty; easy, normal, hard. There are also requirements to get upgrades (# of villagers, food supply, wood supply, etc.) There are good instructions in the game and it takes time to read those. And there are quests to fill to move on. The graphics are cartoony, but not bad, the match 3 board is pretty small on the left side of the screen. Music is pretty good, but you adjust it to what level you want it. It is challenging to play cause there is a lot to do and you must choose how to solve problems the villagers bring to you. The story line is to protect and build the city, build resources, and battle the enemy (match 3). Larger matches give you extra rewards. If you are looking for a simple match 3, this is not the game for you, if you like match 3 and building and upgrading for quests you should try this game. Have fun!
