“Wonderful Graphics, coins and collectibles well hidden. Puzzles not too challenging and suitable for all players. I like the fact that there are mini games in between too. This game is every bit as good as all the others” - Stephanie, Beta Tester

I'm Coming Home! This story reminds me of the Winchester Mansion, a house under constant construction, staircases that lead to nowhere, twists and turns that shouldn't be there, and even hidden rooms, all because of one woman's obsession to continue building, because that's what the house wanted! Dark Dimensions has put their own twist on the Winchester Mansion, with the Barton Manor located in Whispering Hollows, a house that continues to grow, because the voices have commanded Martha Barton to do so! Your parents were Dark Dimension investigators who disappeared while investigating this possessed house, which has just claimed your sister as it's latest victim! Can you and your partner, Rocky, rescue her from this evil Manor before it's too late? Who's Rocky? Your best friend, a Siberian Husky who seems to have enough energy for this case and a few other haunted houses. DD has done a remarkable job with this character, very realistic, fluid movement, and just the right amount of puppy charastics to make you fall in love, and want a Rocky of your own. It really annoys me when games can't quite pull it off and animals walk sideways, or they have jilted movements. There are Plus indicators for some of the inventory items requiring you to interact with the item or combine the item with another inventory item. Your smartphone is where you will access all your notes, and objectives as well as access the map which is located on your phone as well. The Hidden Object Scenes, yes there are a bunch, and yes, some of the scenes are repeated, but they are extremely interactive list finds, with lot's of puzzles and clues held within. You can opt for a Match 3 game. The Mini Games are also in abundance, and range from simple puzzles, such as turning disks to complete a picture, to elaborate more in depth thinking games. I enjoyed most of the games but if I have to choose my favorite, it would be re-creating pictures by using various paints and stencils, in the correct order. I also liked the game that required you to use directional arrows to move a flame, which would move until it hit something in that direction, making sure that the flame touched several symbols within 6 moves. I only wish that game had several more sections that became increasingly more difficult. The Collectors Edition has Achievements, Match 3, Wallpapers, Concept Art, a Developers Diary, Rocky's Room and Collectible Paw Print Coins (which allows you to buy items for Rocky), Morphing Objects, Music, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Chapter, enjoy! Good captivating game. I have other two games of this series and so on a whim I decided to buy this game and do not regret it. This is a HOPA game with a storyline of a cursed house and you the hero need to figure the curse out nothing new about ghosts and curses in this story by the way, yet interesting enough to play it and all while finding objects and using them in the right areas, solving easy puzzles and going through very interactive HO scenes. The HO is list interactive and some using items in order to find others. There are levels of difficulty to choose from. You have a cute husky dog to help you, a hint button, a notebook that records the progress of the story and an interactive map. The graphics are of a good quality, the music is OK and fits the story. I do not know what the length of the game is but from where I am right now in the game it seems like there's still more to go and do on the map so it could be a fairly long game, but I am not sure how long. I do recommend this game, though some will find it too easy and not challenging, I enjoy playing it for the relaxing value of it. March 13, 2015
great game love the game the puzzles are not the same old same old, my dog helper is lots of fun, the ho are quite different from most games. March 14, 2015
A Haunted Mansion Great game with lots to do. It has a map, notes and a video diary. The hidden objects are inter-active as you have to fine pieces of one object to locate another and so on. The mini-games are not too difficult and there is a great variety. You also have a dog named, Rocky, to assist you. The game plays like an CE (it is long and complicated). The hint button is helpful and you sometimes can teleport. March 30, 2015
Love the Heroine - And Rocky! This 'homecoming' is cut short when your sister, an awesome policewoman, gets captured by a dark house. In order to feed its evil forces, the house must expand... forever. This means vines keep breaking through the rooms, and you have to fight back. Luckily you've got Rocky on your side, a Siberian husky. I've had a lot of companions here on HOA's at BFG, but Rocky was definitely my favorite. He leaps up and swims, jump, crawls whenever you click him. Rocky's the BEST. The puzzles, including a fun paint-layering picture, were perfect. The graphics aren't quite as good as in other games, but I thought the storyline, the interactive HOS, the puzzles - and Rocky of course! - made up for that. March 28, 2016
Lots of Fun to Play I tried out the free trial this morning but wasn't sure what to expect with all the bad reviews, mostly based on the technical aspect of the game (which by the way, isn't supposed to be what your review is based on according to the review guidelines). I am happy to report that I did not experience one glitch or any kind of technical problems. It's always a good idea to try a game before you buy it and make sure it will run on your computer. It ran great on mine. (Windows 10) I used the hint button a lot throughout the game and it was always helpful with information of where to go or what to do. It even transports you to the location so you don't have to find it on your own. I can usually tell in the first five minutes if I like a game enough to buy it. This game started off fun and got better as it progressed. I knew I would buy it but played most of the demo anyway before purchasing because I didn't want to stop playing. Graphics were very good. Mini-games were some I had seen before and some I had not. Most of them were in sync with the theme of the game and I thought they were fun to play. I really liked the one where I had to dig up stuff that Rocky had buried in his dog house. That was a hoot! There were tons of games--so if you like mini-games you will especially like this game. I counted 5 in one scene alone! I had to skip a few because I couldn't figure out the logic required to beat the game. The directions were easy to understand but sometimes the playing level was beyond my abilities. My granddaughters played most of the game with me and they loved it. So much so that they want to play it again! They really liked Rocky and the skeleton hand that reaches out to grab you! They kept replaying that scene over and over to watch the hand! The storyline was interesting even though it was easy to figure out where it was going. I didn't think the vines were intrusive to the game play as some other players did. I thought they added to the story in a good way. I finished the whole game and will put it on my list of games to replay. I am very happy I bought it! Ignore the low reviews (like I did) and try the game out for yourself. I think you will be surprised at how good it is. March 12, 2016
HOME AT LAST I really like this game. I love the interactive Ho scenes. It is a good length. My only negative is some of the stuff you do is so out silly. like making a cookie and putting sprinkles and icing on it before you bake it. I have the whole series and like them all. March 23, 2015
Excellent Game This was one of the best games I've ever played! The music and graphics were amazing and the HO scenes were so much fun! It was easy to find the objects, and it was interactive! Meaning you had to find an object and then use it to find another object, which made it more challenging! And the mini games were fun too, and I was able to complete most of them without having to resort to the skip button. It has an interactive map, but it really wasn't necessary, as the hint button provided all the help I needed to navigate through the game. And the story line was great! All in all it was a great game, and I plan on buying more Dark Dimensions games in the future. June 30, 2016
the vines just keep comin' you have received a letter from your sister to meet her at an old mansion. it has been taken over by these prickly, almost indestructible vines. the owners of the mansion were warned not to build there because the land was cursed. the female owner was under the impression that as long as they added to the house they would live forever. the male owner begged her to leave because she was showing symptoms of going mad and letting the "dark dimension" take over her mind. you run into her as you look for your sister who was taken at the beginning of the game by the "vines". you mother and father are also hostages of the "vines". this game does have a custom level and an interactive map. it is good to have a piece of paper or a good memory because sometimes you have to take notes March 21, 2015
Liked it. Interesting story line and graphics were good. The game was long and It was a bit dark. I got a little tired of the red vines growing on everything. Good use of a free game coupon. December 9, 2015

Dark Dimensions: Homecoming

For years, Barton Mansion sat abandoned, a haunting reminder of an obsession gone wrong. But something sinister still lurked there...and it's stirring.
