Alakazam One, Two, Three And.... Poof! Tonight is the grand re-opening of the Taylor Hotel. Let's hope history doesn't repeat itself as it hosts the Second Illusionist Championship. You remember that fateful night very well, because you are the journalist who won a Pulitzer Prize for the coverage of the First Illusionist Championship. Unfortunately, things don't go well this time either, because that wouldn't be very "dangerous" so now you must play a wicked game with an Illusionist who has some pretty deadly tricks up his sleeve. Can you survive this terrifying ordeal and separate what is real from illusion? I loved the fact that every puzzle and hidden object scene kept true to the genre with magic tricks and illusions. You will find a pair of Truth Goggles that will reveal hidden doors, passageways and hidden props, before using them you will have to recreate images shown by combining several shapes. The Hidden Object Scenes range from interactive list finds, finding multiples of a single item, to progressive silhouetted shape finds. Each HOP has codes to decipher and small puzzles within to add more interactive features. The mini games were all based upon illusionist tricks and very creative. One such game required you to synchronize two clocks to show the life cycle of a bird. The left clock shows changing images of a birds life, and you drag tiles to the clock on the right to create a matching life cycle. The Collectors Edition has 20 Morphing Trick Cards, Wallpapers, Concept Art, Music, Videos, replayable Mini Games, Achievements, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Chapter, enjoy! March 16, 2015
Beautiful Graphics! I played the Beta version when it came out. I was anxious to see when the full version would be coming out. The demo is only 30 min so basing my view on beta and demo. The graphics are beautiful. So far the story line is easy to follow. There is a interactive map that lets you jump and shows where you have something to do. The HOS are varied in types. Some straight hidden objects and some you have to find one thing to apply to another and some are shapes. Great variety. You can also customize your playing level. I knew when I played the beta that I would be buying when the game came out and glad it is on sale this weekend! I don't think you will be disappointed if you buy this one! March 15, 2015

Good game I liked this one. Wasn't too difficult. Lots of different scenarios. March 29, 2015
Will Draw You In The story line is very easy to follow and makes sense. Too often games are over complicated in that they are all over the place rather than consistent in storyline and flow. One step at a time. As well, the mini-games in this one are entertaining and have some variation. The levels are easy enough for the less experienced while challenging enough for the more experienced. Well balanced. It is very easy to get drawn into this one to see the outcome in the end. Well worth it. May 30, 2016
The Whole Thing was an Illusion This is posted after playing the entire game. I so wanted to like this game, but unfortunately that isn't the case. I've enjoyed other Blam games and thought this would be of the same quality. The demo was so short, and had I gone by that, I would not have purchased the game. However, I just knew it would get better. I "tricked" myself. As you can tell, I didn't enjoy playing this. It just wasn't fun. It is goofy and I like goofy, but this went beyond that. I know now why it came out in the SE version so soon. The graphics are great and the voice overs were very good. Colors were nice and bright and the music went along with the game. That evil laugh made me laugh a few times. The hidden objects were different in style. There were a total variety from lists, to putting things together, to silhouettes. Nice assortment. The mini games, that's another story. I could not figure out what in the world to do in many of them and I was just thrilled that the skip button recharged quickly. Now, understand, I do not care for minis in the first place, but when I can't figure out what to do, that's a horse of the different color. The challenge with them is just trying to understand. You have an interactive map which is great and a must. No journal I could find, and not necessary anyway. The hint as well as the skip buttons recharge quickly which is a must anymore for me. The biggest challenge to the whole game was getting the cursor where they wanted it to be. Seldom was it ever on the object you were trying to find or the area you are trying to color. I believe that was the most frustrating thing about the game. The story started out pretty good and then it just took off without me. This mad illusionist comes back twenty years after he's burnt up in a fire and then at the the end... well, you can figure that out. I was just bounced around from land to land without seemingly much regard to how I got there. Having said all these negative things about this game, I bought it, but if you play the demo, just remember there is a lot more game where that ends. Be warned. March 16, 2015
Not so fun for me This game probably should be more fun for other people. I think I just didn't enjoy it because of the cut scenes; the changing realities were irritating to me, visually. I was a little unnerved with a hopeless feeling that I didn't know where I was or what I was dealing with. Maybe these are great experiences for other people, but I didn't like feeling that way. The animation and colors were very nice, the games and puzzles were fun, and I did want to know what had happened to the illusionist. Personally, I just couldn't get through it. I only played the trial to the end, which seemed pretty short. Sure wasn't 90 minutes, but it was plenty for me to know that I will not buy this. March 26, 2015
Delightful! The artistry of the middle east! Enjoyed each step in this game, the graphical representation of the east is something I don't want to see end with this delightful game. Thank you. March 20, 2016
I have a mixed response This game began well. The graphics are superb. I played for twenty minutes and decided to purchase. I should have waited. It went downhill not long after that. The puzzles were confusing at times. I think the information provided was inadequate or poorly translated. Also, I found there were too many sweet spots. You could try something and it not work because you were just a tad off. Mostly I wish the story line was fleshed out a bit more. Why did he hate his mentor or our mother, etcetera. . .
