Greed: Forbidden Experiments is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 38.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from fun I really enjoyed this game, the storyline was a bit boring but the graphics and puzzles were really good. If you like a game that involves puzzle solving and using your brain then this is the game for you. The only downfall was that there is'nt a map. Length of game play was quite long for a none collectors edition.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A DELIGHTFUL SUPRISE!!! I wasn't to sure about this game but tried it as I am running out of games to play because I have been stuck in bed 24/7 all summer. I loved it!!! hos are nicely done, story is great and the graphics in the cinematic scenes are superb, graphics throughout the game are clear and wonderfully done. It is one of those games that you want to play when you don't feel like thinking hard. its a casual game easy but entertaining.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Real Gem of a Game! Bought this within the first 10 minutes! The intro really got me - it was high quality CG stuff made in real 3d graphics. I really felt I wanted to find out who Julia is and what happened to her sister. For an SE, everything was above average - Nice graphics, music that complements the cut-scenes, and a unique story. It had some of the bells and whistles you normally find in CE's like interactive HO's, achievement items and a journal. I can't wait to play till the end!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Greed 2 Forbidden Experiments is a great SE... You play Julia who is trying to save her sister Sophia in this sci-fy thriller. Aliens who call themselves the Oracles of Doom are searching for the perfect DNA and its up to you to stop them. Time is running out because you need your sister and she requires an antidote to restore her memory. You must figure out how to accomplish the mission and save the day. This point and click adventure plays like a CE and leads you to believe there will be a third installment when you conclude the game. Brilliant voice acting and sound effects. I recommend this for all levels of players. Thanks Bigfish for this gem. xox's

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What A Great Game ... Great Graphics. Sounds, Animations, Effects, Voice & Video Bits ... This Has A Real Sci-Fi Feel About It And Could Be Anywhere On Earth, In Space Or Another World Altogether ... The HOGS Were A Little Repetitive At Times, But The Game As A Whole Was Very Entertaining ... Here's Hoping For A Series ... The Devs Are Onto Something ... And Great Value, Especially If You Get Yours With A Voucher Too ...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Totally Enjoyed Storyline was great. No bells and whistles game where they worry so much about putting in a ton of mini clips, just a good thought out game to make it enjoyable. Graphics and everything is Great, I am just saying it is was made for gamer enjoyment not seeing how many dark tricky items they can get in it, but instead good old common thinking of what you need to do to get further along. I would love to see more games like this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really enjoyed it the graphics are good, and the story line, you have to save your sister, she has to have an injection to stop the Oracles claiming her DNA, as they are creating the perfect DNA, and when you have saved your sister, you have to stop them creating the perfect DNA, you have to shut down the nuclear station, whether there will be a sequel to this game, I don't know, I think there could be, the Oracles perhaps return to earth, to try to create the perfect DNA once again, perhaps one of the sisters has a child, and they want her, or him!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AN MAGNIFICENT SE WHICH DOES NOT NEED ANY FURTHER EXPERIMENTATION BY THE DEVELOPERS For an SE, this game receives a lab quality grade of 100% perfection! I LOVE this game by our little Urchins. The graphics and there are a few extra goodies as well. The HOP scenes vary between junk piles and silhouette, the puzzles are mechanically based, and there is an equal amount of puzzles and HOP scenes. The storyline is decent Having nothing of interest to play from last week from this site, I will definitely purchase this one with a coupon. To me, it is as good as many of our CE offerings. You play Julia, whose sister, Sophia was kidnapped as a child for research by the Oracles. Your quest is to locate her and save her from danger. You find out your sister is the "special" one in the family (every family has their "fair-haired" child LOL), and has been chosen by the Oracles. She is special because she can help then attain their goals. Where is your sister and what is being done to her at this laboratory? You will be taking quite a trip in this lab. LEVELS: 3 Normal (Sparkles) Hard (No sparkles) Can skip puzzles Detective: Longer hint times GRAPHICS: Excellent with voice overs and mouth movements. HOP SCENES: I encountered 3 in the demo. Two were slightly interactive junk piles and one was silhouette. PUZZLES: Excellent and more mechanical - at least the ones I encountered in the demo. EXTRA GOODIES: Unusual for an SE. Collect 10 oracle symbols There is NO MAP but you have a clipboard with objectives After a hard day - it was a nice Grumpy Monday surprise to see this game! Thanks BF!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I Kinda Dig It This game definitely grows on you, and it's the perfect game to start out the week with because it's an easy breezy game that doesn't require a lot of effort to enjoy. The story intrigues me, a young woman receives a frantic phone call from a stranger stating that her missing sister Sophia is alive, but is the victim of cruel experimentations by The Oracle's of Doom! This could very well be a trap, but Julia has been left no choice, she must try to save her sister at any cost. When she arrives at the lab, something even more bizarre occurs, what she thought was just a recurring nightmare, turns out to be real life visions. Has she been here before, are these her memories or is her sister communicating with her somehow? Who are these evil men dressed in black apocalyptic style clothing and what are these experiments for? Even though this is only a Standard Edition, there are 10 Oracle's Emblems to collect and 9 missing Diary Pages to find, which also gives some insight to Sophie's state of mind during her captivity by the Oracles, and shed's light upon the storyline. I really liked the first Greed (mad scientist) but this is a completely different storyline, and from what I could tell has no bearing on this game. Inventory items are easy to find, and are usually used within the same scene or shortly thereafter, and most tasks are logical so you will probably know exactly where to use an inventory item. The Hidden Object Scenes are clear, and the objects themselves are easily identifiable, but not every item is easily found. There are good old fashioned list finds with several items requiring some type of interaction, usually just clicking on an object to move it which exposes the object you are looking for. There are also Hidden Object Scenes requiring you to find objects that match a silhouetted shape shown, and dark scenes where you must find listed objects with a flashlight, one of the scenes was repeated, but had a different type of search the second time around. The Mini Games are fairly easy, most of them are the type that when you select one, others are affected such as rotating square tiles to complete an image, when you click on one tile, others move as well, or selecting the correct combination on a lock, when you rotate one dial, others move as well. There aren't a lot of bells and whistles, but this is a decent game with pretty good graphics, well done voiceovers, entertaining Hidden Object Scenes and clever Mini Games. There are Collectible Oracle Emblems and missing Diary Pages to go along with an interesting story, enjoy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Don't Forbid Greed: Forbidden Experiments What a treat! Julia is trying to save her sister from something sinister. But it becomes complicated. This game has clear, crisp graphics, engaging sound, and an interesting plot line. I haven't finished it yet, but I just had to write a review to let the pond know how very happy this game has made me. This is a refreshing change from what I have played lately. Do try it!
