Rebuilding The Kingdom What a relaxing solitaire game with beautiful and soothing music! You can choose from 4 different styles of face cards, in this higher/lower card game, requiring you to earn enough gold to help rebuild (and defend) the kingdom. When you earn enough gold from playing solitaire, you are able to purchase buildings which in turn give you bonuses or amulets, such as the Sword of Glory which can be used to remove any face up card. There are number specific wildcards that are occasionally hidden below some of the cards on the board, as well as relic pieces, rubies and armor. Some of the cards are chained, requiring you to find the key, or you may have to make a combo of 6 or more cards to unlock blocked cards. The scenes are beautiful and any scene can be set as your desktop picture! You can replay each level as often as you want to try to achieve a better score, if you continue without a perfect score, you receive less cards in the deck which makes it harder to win, enjoy! Great Addition to the Solitaire Family I love playing different types of games, but when I just want to relax with a "no brainer" game, I go straight to a good Solitaire game. This one fits the bill. You of course have the usual, play cards one up or down, but there are a few things that are different that makes this game enjoyable. In addition to the game actually having a storyline and good graphics you also have the following: * Levels require you to do different things to complete a goal. For example, earn a certain amount of gold or find parts of missing relics. * During my playing of the game (50 minutes), there were challenges you had to overcome, for example, make combos of a certain number to unlock a stack of cards and a chain lock where you had to find the key to unlock a stack of cards. * Completing goals throughout allows you to build structures which give you tools to use throughout the game. * Jokers are a plenty and you don't have to purchase them. You earn them as you play. I only played 50 minutes so I don't know what other surprises are waiting. But I'm off to purchase the game to find out. Enjoy. April 13, 2015
Short and sweet Visually and aurally this is the most beautiful game. The solitaire games are easy to learn and it is useful to be able to replay a level if one messes up. I bought this to complete my Far Kingdoms set having finally managed to complete the more complicated original! Only complaint ... too short. I almost got to the end in the demo, though of course I can play as many times as I like changing persona. April 15, 2015
A great game for casual solitaire players OK, I admit I'm not great at solitaire -- which doesn't mean I don't like to play some. This game is unusual in that you never get to a dead end. If you can't do well at a level even after some replays, you can just move on. Tthe only "penalty" is that you make less progress, and have to play more levels. So for me, the game is definitely not too short, and forgiving enough so I don't get frustrated. I really recommend this game for casual solitaire players like me who don't want to endlessly replay one level or give up. April 24, 2015
Beautiful Game I thoroughly enjoyed this game it had wonderful images, great story, it wasn't hard to play either. The graphics were beautiful and the music was soothing to listen to, not distracting like others I have played. I loved it, although it did end to soon for me, I would have liked to play more of this game. April 16, 2015
The Far Kingdoms: Age of Solitaire Another great game in the series April 13, 2015
TLC In a never-ending quest for a fresh time management game, I stumbled across this little masterpiece and find it to be one of the most carefully crafted games I've played on BF. That's right! Highly challenging, good thing for replays. Graphics are so lovely even though you're occupied with the cards. Now and then, the sweeping, majestic symphony background music intrudes a little but that's OK. Wild cards and undos are there, thank goodness. I said to myselft, "How 'bout another one like this?" and discovered I had the Winter Solitaire one tucked away already. Good move! September 7, 2016
GREAT but short Game graphics and music were very good. I liked power-ups and building. Here's were I'm disappointed BIG FISH GAMES. I was finished with the game about an hour later (except for random playing). For gamers who spend money, there should at least be a few hours of enjoyment. For that reason alone, I'm disappointed. I think gamers can make the choice on whether or not that's important in reviewing a game. April 14, 2015
Nice game; very short This is a lovely game - terrific graphics, fun storyline, all the good things everyone has already said. I don't often submit a review, but this one is so short that I felt like I wanted to add my voice to the others who have also mentioned that fact. I played the game in one evening after I got home from work and before I went to bed. After you complete the game, you can play solitaire all you want to, but the hands no longer tie into the game. I used a coupon to get this game and that was about all it was worth to me just because it's such a short game. Had I paid the full member price, I wouldn't have been very happy. April 14, 2015
Solitaire twist Some solitaire is quite boring I like the graphics and how the games play April 15, 2015
