Indianacorvette This was a hard game. I had purchased it from another game company a long time ago before I knew about Big Fish. I have since bought most of the Mortimer Beckett games from Big Fish. This game took me quite a long time. Sometimes it made me feel a little dumb but finally figured things out. Not an easy game but once I finished I looked back and said to myself "Now that was a challenge" I went right to Big fish and bought 3 more Mortimer Beckett games which weren't as hard as this one. Mortimer Beckett and the time paradox I'm surprised to see the low score for this game. This is really a fun game if given a chance. One thing that I like is the music; it is different for each time period and is nicely done. Be sure use the map button if your not sure where to go next. Map button is the key and that was the one thing that confused me at first. But the music is excellent and matches the time period; graphics are really great and the hint button charges quickly. I would suggest everyone give it a good chance. Time travel aspect is also interesting and a favorite genre of mine. January 22, 2016
FALLING THROUGH TIME Mortimer's uncle needs his help in closing portals that open access to different time periods with the potential to change things with catastrophic results. The uncle has attempted to build a machine to close the portals but needs Mortimer's help to find all the pieces to complete it. This is a challenging HOG with lots of locations and lots of HOS in each location. Items found in one scene need to be used in other scenes in order to find other items. However, the back and forth was not excessive and once a location was finished, there was no reason to go back. The items were sometimes small, dark and very hard to find. Hints are unlimited and recharged very quickly, at least the way I had the options set. I found that you have to pay close attention to the map, as it tells you what needs to be done in each scene, puzzles to play, items to place back into the scene and items left to find. Even if you find the time machine part but haven't finished all the scenes, you will not be able to move on to the next location. This is my second Mortimer Beckett game I've played and I will be playing the next two very soon. May 25, 2016
I think it's a Hoot! I love all of these Mortimer Beckett games (except the very early one, which seemed like a type of PacMan game). I didn't even know of them until a few weeks ago. Heard about them on another website and then returned to BFG to unearth a little gold mine of fun. They are so lighthearted, Mortimer is a goofball, the music is great, and they are irresistible. Of course, they are not in the same category of great games like the Dark Parables or Myths of the World series: they are a different romp through a very colorful world. I recommend this highly (all the games are more or less interchangeable). With coupons to use up and with Big Fish specials, you don't have to spend much to grab these for a light entertainment when you don't feel like much of a challenge. Give it a whirl! May 28, 2015
OK but... I played Mortimer Beckett games in past. For various reasons, I have not played them in many years. I saw this and nostalgia prompted to give it a try. I could not play past the tutorial. The graphic effects, challenge seemed about average. The storyline looked interesting. The reason for my negative review is this. Due to physical problems, I cannot use computer mouse with the 'standard' click settings. I have basic click reversed. This game does accept these settings. I thought I had a mouse malfunction. ALL other Big Fish games currently being played accept the change. So it is this particular game for whatever reason will not. It was a disappointment. I want to warn others of this to avoid their disappointment. May 1, 2016
Goodbye Mortimer Another disappointment in the much awaited Mortimer Beckett series. I purchased the first two purely based on glowing independent reviews. From these reviews I had the obviously incorrect impression that these were "fun" games. In my opinion they were not "fun." The hidden objects ranged from the blatantly obvious to the ridiculously hidden. Thankfully there were unlimited hints. I couldn't wait to finish the game, .... and then I decided I wasn't going to wait, and so I didn't bother finishing it. May 12, 2015
too hard to see this game makes it too hard to see most of the pieces. Having to work that hard takes the fun out of the game June 28, 2016
