Fire is a puzzleventure with intuitive puzzle design. Without losing many words it tells a savagely hilarious story. Journey into the Stone Age and face the most challenging task of this era: The search for fire!

This story's hero is the lovably chaotic Neanderthal Ungh who dozes off during his very first night watch. The next morning, the catastrophe ensues: the fire's gone out and Ungh is banished from his village. Now you have to help Ungh find a new flame by searching every corner of the Stone Age world. No matter if he has to search the insides of a dinosaur, smoldering volcanoes or even through time itself, there is no place Ungh wouldn't look for new fire.

One click or swipe and your environment comes to life. A small dash of logic and you'll be able to solve any puzzle and there will be no limit to your exploratory spirit while interacting with the game's world: fire coconuts from a mammoth's trunk, turn into an animal or save the fair maiden from the Octo-Boss' grasp.

  • No text or dialogue at all
  • Coherent and intuitive controls
  • Explore a lovable, vividly animated world
  • 10 beautifully hand-drawn sceneries
  • Atmospheric soundtrack

WHERE Do I Begin? A FUN Test Of Your "Figure It Out" Abilities. Wouldn't Have Missed It! First, I'm gonna say this...if you don't enjoy figuring out EVERY SINGLE THING...and I MEAN EVERY SINGLE THING...you will probably not think this game is a winner. I, on the other hand, spent 45 minutes playing this game and didn't even bother to finish the demo. HAD to have it. We are cavemen. We have NO speech. Our guy has been thrown out =literally= of the village for letting the ONLY fire die out. We are on a quest for fire. There are no words for any of the game settings. Again, NO SPEECH. To start, I suggest you click on the gears on the introductory page. This is where you'll adjust your settings. They are primitive. Sliding various animals across strings attached to bones will adjust sound effects, music volume etc. There is one that adjusts how quickly the cursor moves around...and you're gonna want to use it. That thing was as slippery as if it was sliding around on mammoth spit. Go back to the main page, click on the arrow...and away we go! You'll watch a little story about how we get kicked out, and then the game is on. Your cursor will turn orange when it crosses something you can interact with. It will turn blue, with a little eyeball at the bottom, when you need to look at something. If you need a clue for where you can do something, press the space bar, and little faces will pop up. These are your areas of interest. It is good to get the faces to pop up because they will reveal golden coins, or "blunga", that we can collect. What for? Don't know. They're there. I picked them up. There is a banner that lets you know how many you've got. Cannot wait to find out why. If you want to get back to the main menu, repeat a scene, or go to the map, use the mouse roller, and a banner will slide down with those choices. If you do not like running back and forth and back and forth to see what has happened in a previous scene, from something you did in another scene...I don't think this is the game for you. If you do not appreciate "cartoony", whimsical graphic art, it may not be your game. IF, however, the thrill of discovery gives you immense satisfaction, from doing-it-on-your-own...you'll be up and dancing. This, my friends, is as good as it gets for anyone who thinks that all of the above sounds like FUN. An off-the-wall, quirky sense of humor will also be a big plus. Make no mistake. It will be DIFFICULT. Well, it is for me, anyway. Probably for many of us. BUT...the rewards are worth the effort...in my opinion. This should give you a good start. I say try the demo. That will be the true test. If you need help, or more info, look to the forums. Find it at the top of this page, above the game video. Click on "get game tips". Played on a PC, Windows 7 Home Premium, 64bit. NO issues. Crisp, clear, colorful graphics. No lagging or black screen. THANK YOU, Devs and BFG. MORE like this, please. Just can't get enough. Hope YOU find some fun today. Happy gaming.! January 20, 2016
Great casual game A very lovely drawn point and click in which you have to solve riddles (and maybe collecting bonus items for achievements) My son and I have played it once, the difficulty of the riddles is never unfair. It's a casual point and click aimed at kids and of course casual players or point and click enthuisasts. The story is pretty straightforward and there is no audio response which is unique to the genre. Very nice small game! January 21, 2016
nice thinking game love these kind of games. you have to use your gray matter. am only half way through this one, goes to show how it hooked me. do hope it is a long game , cause am enjoying it so much. do keep up the good work, and keep making like this......hint hint need more like violet as well. Tough little game! The story is there, but doesn't make the game, the puzzles do! This reminds me of those little Samorost games, which I loved! (There's Samorost 3 coming soon!) It looks easy, but it can be downright maddening. The only thing that has me totally flummoxed is how you get out of the game when you want to quit for a while. I got out when the demo ended, but there has to be another way. I'll use a coupon on this. Somehow, I think it will be kind of short, and there isn't a lot of replay value. That said, it is the most fun I've had with a game in a while! January 20, 2016
A Short Review Based on the Demo I had to purchase this whimsical adventure game. I find it cute and challenging. This game does not spoon feed you every next step, you have to use your imagination, and trial and error. There are no hints, but the steps are logical once you figure them out. I am happy we are being offered different types of games by developers, after all, that is what keeps me interested in purchasing HOG/Adventure Games. January 22, 2016
Great great and great My hat goes off to the developers who thought of these wonderful ways that this game is played. I thank you. Yes, it is hard but the fun is in figuring it out.. January 23, 2016
More challenging than I expected I really enjoyed playing with Fire! There's a lot of trial and error (with no penalty) which makes it fun to spend some time on. I like the "ah-hah" moments when you finally realize what the puzzle is asking you to do. The music is catchy without being annoying. Graphics are clear & wonderfully cartoony. January 31, 2016
Entertaining This is a very entertaining little game. I have enjoyed it a lot. It really makes you use your brain to figure out the puzzles. Amazing , I loved it and would recommend it January 30, 2016
Flawless! Brilliant! Running out of adjectives :) Where do I start? I enjoyed it so much, it was just great:to follow that caveman through various adventures; the animation was superb, all the characters were cleverly animated, it had lots of twists, plenty of puzzles to solve, hugely difficult and yet I was hooked from episode 1. For me it ticked absolutely every box of what a great puzzle game should look and sound like and I am a very difficult customer. This game is totally targeted to "Expert" players enjoying that category and i am so pleased about that, at long last! Well done to the developers and to BigFish for releasing it. June 12, 2016
Great quirky game This game is fun! There are no instructions. You have to figure it out. There is no dialogue, It is just a test of your wits. And how funny it is! I am done with boring, visualy pretty hidden object games. Please more of these quirky games! April 5, 2016
