A Little Gem As another reviewer wrote, the game designers' first language is obviously not English. That said, I appreciate writers who can take steampunk, put it into a Grecian setting, and make it work. Again riffing off other reviews, improving your defense mechanisms is pretty confusing. I had no idea what I was doing at the beginning - all I knew was it was pretty cool. However, I realized I could buy higher levels of triangles, circles, squares, and stars (don't worry about it; it makes sense later. Sort of) and use them to widen my shooting radius, shorten reload time, etc. There are all the usual attack machines - air missiles, large and slow beasts who drop fast, smaller beasts (aka groups of attack soldiers) and boats. They're all based on Archimedes' designs, which is pretty cool. The inventor, a steampunk-y woman, is Archimedes' student and wants to rescue him from the enemy. The file downloaded so quickly I thought this would be a pixilated mess, but I was pleasantly surprised by the graphics and storyline. The game level is playable, perhaps a shade too easy. I know it must be hard to get that just right - either you have too easy or Impossible To Play/ Stop Me From Throwing My Laptop Out of The Window (cough, Fort Defenders, cough.) (Btw, if you're looking for amazing tower defense I highly recommend Risen Dragons. That little gem is hidden in strategy games, and It. Is. Amazing.) If you don't mind spending an hour or so learning how to play, Defense of Greece is fun tower defense. I highly recommend it. September 23, 2015
Funnest game I've played in a very long time I love building my abilities as I play games. This game has many challenging levels. They are different so as not to get too routine. You get to build your weapons as you become more successful and skilled. I play this for hours. I just love it. December 15, 2015
Real amazing tower defense game ! I love a good TD game, and this is a fun game. That little gem in strategy game! I highly recommend it. October 7, 2015
Very satisfied Best strategy game. Very satisfied October 2, 2015
The Abundance Of Options Are Too Confusing I love a good Tower Defense game, and this is a fun game, but the devs may have gone too far trying to make this game just a bit different than the normal TD games. I do however appreciate it when devs "think outside the box" but I still have no clue what I'm supposed to be doing when it comes to improving my weapons. (I'll explain this to the best of my knowledge) Instead of having platforms that you build upon, there are just heaps of material that you click upon and then choose which weapon to build. There are Ballista which can help in any situation and is the only one that can destroy air attacks. Mortar shoot's cannonballs and is good against large infantry, and there's even a machine that freezes the enemy and slows them down. All of the weapons can be upgraded to shoot with more force in a wider range once you earn enough money to do so. You receive quests from different people and they also tried to add a Time Management feature where you can click to cut down trees which earns you silver coins. Once the enemy attack begins (you get more money if you start the battle early by clicking on the battle icon) and the icon is located where the assault will take place. There are several bonuses you can use when the enemy slips past your defenses suches as Lightning, and fireballs, located on the left of the screen. The most confusing feature was using the gems you earned to improve the mechanics of the weapons, which in my opinion was poorly explained. You choose which weapon you want to improve and then you click and drag the mechanic piece to the bottom matching slot, at that point I'm not really sure what this does for your weapon, because nothing seems to change. Perhaps I needed to play longer until all the shapes were filled with the mechanics. Apparently you can change the mechanics at any time as well. For this confusing reason alone, I deducted a star, other than that, it's a decent TD game, enjoy! September 22, 2015
Decent Game This game didn't come with much info about how to play it but was not hard to figure out. There are still a few aspects I don't understand, like what makes a piece of equipment have a little star on it while it's neighbor of the exact same type does not. Basically it requires you to build and improve various weapons to defeat the enemy. It takes quite a long time to achieve the top level for each machine. You basically have to accumulate enough gems to buy or combine parts to get to level 10 for each part. The challenges for each level start off at a basic level of earning 3 stars on the flag. You can then play the same level to earn more reward and a five star rating. If you play the difficult level you get more reward. The reward gems are what you use to buy better machine parts. There are little side weapons you can use for single times and they either recharge or you have to buy more. When my machines got stronger I seldom needed these but used them quite a bit in the early part of the game. You can play any level over and over, sometimes just to earn enough gems to build a better machine. This got a little boring. I don't listen to sound so no comment. The graphics are simple and easy to distinguish. There are two characters that talk at the beginning of each round which I found a bit annoying but you can flip through them pretty easily. If a few of the enemy slip through your defenses you can still win the level as there are liberal lives available at the start of each level. You can cut down certain trees on most levels to get a few extra coins to improve your weapons. December 23, 2015

Not good at all This review is, admittedly, based on only a few minutes play of the demo but, I hated it. The dialogue is very badly written (English possibly not the first language of the developer) and quite intrusive, the graphics are very basic and I found the game play quite boring. Might be ok for younger players, however. There are much, much better tower defence games out there such as Royal Defence and Fort Defence. September 21, 2015
