Mosaic: Game of Gods 4.1 5 16 16
Theres a reason why this is a game of Gods I'm not sure if it's the same developer or not, but I own the 'Mosaics Galore' game and this is quite similar in gameplay. The title of the game drew my attention and then after seeing the parrot picture I had to give it a try - being a parrot owner and enthusiast. I'm glad I did! I'll warn you at the get-go, I only played this game for six minutes before deciding to buy it. I rarely do that. But the game gives you the option of timed or normal mode (so if you don't like one you can use the other). So with several modes of gameplay, it should satisfy anyone. There is also a 'fever mode' where you have to really rush to complete the puzzle. There is a great trophy system and the music is quite pleasant. The main game screen plays what sounds like a modern pop song you'd hear on the radio. That's different. February 9, 2015
wow! these are fun/relaxing! I count three games like this now! This has got to be a new genre. Kind of like a puzzle but not . It is fun but also relaxing. This game has a choice of timed or un timed, so you can go between. I'm HAPPY. February 9, 2015
Gift from the Gods! I've loved puzzles and mosaics of all sorts since I was a wee one, and for me "Mosaic: Game of Gods" is really a "gift" from the gods. If you enjoyed "Mosaics Galore" or "Patterns," you will love this game. As in "Mosaics Galore," you have a chance to earn three stars for each puzzle: one for finishing the assembly; one for making no mistakes; and one for assembling the mosaic within certain time limits. You always have a chance to go back and retry a puzzle if you want to earn a better score. The mosaics are breathtakingly beautiful depictions of nature (so far -- I haven't finished the game), and as you would expect increase in complexity and difficulty as you progress. I want to make special mention of the music in this game. Perhaps in part because I am a professional musician, I'm always keenly aware of the music in any game -- I know from reading many reviews on BF that many of you feel the same way. The music that accompanies this game creates such a lovely atmosphere of serenity and beauty that it adds to the "divine" nature of the game -- it has a meditative quality that anyone might find relaxing and soothing after a long, tough day. I highly recommend this game! February 11, 2015
relaxing/addicting Once I got it downloaded, was worth it .i like you can re do a puzzle, I get one puzzle done and I have to do one more. Is challenging, but not so bad you get frustrated and quit.I recommend this game for anyone who wants to relax and play a game. February 21, 2015
beyond believe Fantastic and beautiful pictures and the music must have been made in heaven. I can't stop playing the game and see the wonderful pictures again and listen to the music forever - two thumbs up :o) June 21, 2015
Beautiful game Magnificent game - Original as game of puzzles - very beautiful motives - I adore this game! February 9, 2015
Nice Change of Pace - Very Fun Really enjoying this. In reading other players' comments, I left the music on. Became monotonous to me after 20 puzzles, so I muted it. The music at the Intro Page is very cool though I don't mind the click & drag at all The backgrounds are easy to distinguish from the pieces' colors. I'm only a quarter of the way through though Took everyone's advice and am playing Untimed Beautiful and colorful scenes. Relaxing and enjoyable play. I recommend this game July 23, 2016
THIS IS BY FAR MY FAVORITE GAME AND MUSIC!!! I love all mosaic puzzles and games, but this is the first one that has the very best music ever. Every picture is very beautiful and colorful and I listen to the music even when I'm doing other things around the house. It also gives you a choice of a relaxed or timed setting - I had to buy this game even before the trial ended. April 19, 2016
Good for this type of game. I'm not a big fan of mosaic inlay games, but this one is pretty decent. The storyline is there, but it is told only through pictures, and you kind of have to fill in some blanks. I like it well enough. The graphics are sharp and clear, controls intuitive. I really like the soundtrack, too. Upbeat but relaxing. I'm really glad that this has a relaxed mode, because I'd never be able to complete the puzzles in the time they give you for them. (Even on relaxed, it tells you the time limit and your time, but you are not penalized for not finishing on time.) I think this is one of those games that looks deceptively easy, but gets hard pretty fast. I think it is probably one that is good for your brain, LOL. I may get it with a PCC or on sale, but not enough my cuppa to rush to buy it. February 10, 2015
Top of the range of it's kind I don't usually go for this kind of game, except as a minigame in a HO adventure, but I found myself going back to the demo again and again until I was hooked! At first I thought it rather bland, but it does get more colourful. There's no storyline that I noticed, but every 25th level - there are 150 in all - is a revolving one, after which the appearance of the puzzles changes, and I kept wanting to see what came next: collage, patchwork, enamel, pietra dura, etc. Once the game is completed you can replay any level from the map, which shows snapshots to help you choose. A couple of things stopped me giving 5 stars - it would be much easier if the pieces stuck to the mouse until you click to place them, it's tiring having to hold the button down as you move them around looking for the right place, and as soon as a picture is completed strands of ivy grow over it; a pretty effect but it would be nice to have chance to admire the finished picture without having to hold on to the last piece.
