Ending is lame This game was fun to play with lots of interesting mini-games and a good storyline. However the ending is so lame that it pretty much ruins the rest of the game. I got the SE version. Other reviews have indicated they cleaned up the ending in the CE version. I wish I had known that from the start because the rest of the game is good enough that I would have gladly shelled out the extra $$ to purchase the CE version. March 12, 2016
Based on playing the SE version. Spoiler alert about the ending. My thoughts about this game are based on the SE version so I have to give a heads up on the end of the SE version. One that reflects why I rated this version so low. The game is fun and lasted 5 days. I only play games a couple of hours a day, if that. There were some interesting facts about the Knights Templars and those are a major consideration for me in game that refers to a real world subject. Although the game had a lot of good graphics and gameplay, the ending in the SE was a real disappointment. More than most. It seems that compared to console games DEVS tend to fall short on the endings and this one, at least in this version, was a real bust. At the end of the SE your requested to meet one of the other characters at a later date. That gives the impression there will be a sequel to this game, but, that's not the case. I went to look for that and discovered there wasn't one. Your only able to complete your final mission in the bonus chapter in the CE version. So, your left hanging with no chance of completing the full game unless you go get the CE. I would have liked to have known that before buying the SE. If the SE ends like that I think it should be a must in the DEVS initial description of a game to include that tidbit. I'm a bit ticked off that I didn't know that before I bought it. I shouldn't need both versions of a game to get the full ending. That being said, had I known that, I would have bought the CE because the demo was good enough to get me to buy it. This is the only SE I've played that I've run into this event. Maybe that's not the case, I just haven't noted that in any other SE I've bought. Maybe I'm wrong. From now on I'll have to pay better attention to the ratings on both versions of a game. So, if you like the demo and plan on buying this game, you might want to consider passing on the SE and getting the CE. November 7, 2015
