Jordan is emerging as a Middle Eastern gaming hub, with new releases coming out for both mobile and the latest systems like PS4. Located between Saudi Arabia and Israel, the area is home to over six million people, but too few natural resources, including water. With people being the area’s greatest resource, intellectual industries like gaming seem to be a natural fit. This emerging gaming industry has an annual expected growth rate of 29 percent. Further development is supported by the Jordan Gaming Task Force which works both locally and internationally to support designers and developers, and also a recent grant of $750,000 from the King Abdullah II Fund for Development. With so many new developments, this will be an interesting industry to follow in the future.
