General Tips
- This is the official guide for Detectives United: The Darkest Shrine.
- This guide won’t tell you when to zoom into a location; the screenshots show each zoom scene.
- Hidden-object puzzles are referred to as HOPs. Only the locations of the HOPs will be shown.
- Use the Map to fast travel to a location.
Chapter 1: Orphanage

- Inspect scene.
- Open JAMES’ BAG; find DEVICE.
- Pick up NEWSPAPER (A) and STONE FLOWER 1/4 (B).
- Inspect NEWSPAPER; find PIGEON EMBLEM.
- Complete HOP (C); receive PIGEON EMBLEM.
- Place PIGEON EMBLEM x2 (D); find PRUNERS.
- Use PRUNERS (E).
- Walk left; inspect scene.

- Pick up BUCKET and METALLIC PLATE (F).
- Walk down.
- Use BUCKET (G); inspect; take VAN KEY.
- Use VAN KEY (H); complete HOP; receive CROWBAR.
- Use CROWBAR (I).
- Walk right; inspect scene.

- Pick up PICTURE PART 1/3 and STONE FLOWER 2/4 (J); inspect (K).
- Take BRONZE WATERING CAN (L).
- Pick up BROOM (M) and clear (N); use PRUNERS; pick up WIRES.
- Move to Garden.

- Use BROOM (O); pick up SILVER WATERING CAN and PICTURE PART 2/3.
- Place BRONZE WATERING CAN and SILVER WATERING CAN (P); pick up BUG SPRAY.
- Use BUG SPRAY (Q); take BIKE HORN and STONE FLOWER 3/4.
- Move to Lobby.

- Use BIKE HORN (R); pick up BATTERY, TILE and PICTURE PART 3/3.
- Place TILE and PICTURE PART (S).

- Take SPRING.
- Walk down.

- Place SPRING (U); slide (V).

- Inspect METALLIC PLATE.

- Place FUSE (X); find GOLDEN FIGURINE.
- Use GOLDEN FIGURINE (Y); pick up SCHNEIDER’S ENTRIES.
- Inspect SCHNEIDER’S ENTRIES; complete HOP; receive FIGURE SKATER AMULET 5/5.
- Walk down.

- Place FIGURE SKATER AMULET (Z).

- Pick up CRAMPONS.

- Use CRAMPONS (B).
- Walk forward; inspect scene.
- Use DEVICE (C).

- Place RED KNOB (U); find RULER and LENS.

- Place SILVER B (W); take SHRINE NAME BADGE.
- SECRET EARPHONE, LENS and SHRINE NAME BADGE on RITUAL LIST; take RITUAL ITEMS.

- Place RITUAL ITEMS (X).
- Select (Y).
- Speak (Z); receive PROFESSOR’S FIGURINE 1/2.
- Take METALLIC DIAL (A).

- Place METALLIC DIAL (B).
- Solution (C): Bx3-A-Cx2-Ax2.
- Walk left.

- Pick up TRIANGULAR FRAGMENT (D).
- Place TRIANGULAR FRAGMENT (E); pick up WRENCH.
- Walk down.

- Use WRENCH (F); receive VALVE.
- Use VALVE (G); pick up GARDEN GLOVE (H).
- Move to Laboratory.

- Use GARDEN GLOVE (I); pick up PROFESSOR’S FIGURINE 2/2.
- Place PROFESSOR’S FIGURINE (J); take LION HANDLE.
- Walk down.
- Use LION HANDLE (K).
- Walk forward; inspect scene.

- Use WRENCH (L); find LEAF AMULET 1/3.
- Pick up LEAF AMULET 2/3 (M).
- Take LEAF AMULET 3/3 (N).
- Move to Laboratory.

- Place LEAF AMULET (O).
- Solution (P): C-D-B-E-F-G-H-I-A-J.
- Pick up GOLDEN X.

- Place GOLDEN X (Q); find PASSWORD, CAN OPENER and XIAO’S RING.
- Move to Mansion Hall.

- Use NAIL PULLER (E); find PORTRAIT and BROKEN DEVICE.

- Hang PORTRAIT (F); take VALVE and MICROCHIP.
- Use VALVE and WRENCH (G); pick up CARVED AMULET.
- Place CARVED AMULET (H); find TOGGLE SWITCH and ANTENNA.
- Place ANTENNA (I).

- Solution (J): A-B; C-D; E-F; G-H-I-J.

- Use HOOK (P); receive GEAR 2/2; pick up TOY (Q).
- Inspect TOY; use GEAR; take WINDUP TOY.
- Place WINDUP TOY (R).
- Complete HOP (S); receive NESTLING.
- Give NESTLING (T); pick up SECRET KEY.
- Use SECRET KEY (U).
- Walk forward; inspect scene.

- Take CHILD’S TOKEN 1/2 and COAL (V).
- Pick up PAPER (W).
- Walk down.
- Use PAPER and COAL (X); pick up PASSWORD PART.
- Walk forward.

- View PASSWORD PART (Y).
- Solution (Z): C-G-B-C-Dx2-E-Fx2.
- Pick up CHILD’S TOKEN 2/2.

- Place CHILD’S TOKEN (A); take BUCKET.
- Fill BUCKET (B); receive WATER BUCKET.

- Walk left; inspect scene.

- Take CANE (D).
- Pick up PORTABLE LAMP (E).
- Walk down.

- Use CANE (F); receive NET.
- Walk left.
- Use NET (G); pick up SHARD.

- Use SHARD (H); pick up CREEPY FIGURINE.
- Place CREEPY FIGURINE (I); take GLOWING CRYSTAL.
- GLOWING CRYSTAL on PORTABLE LAMP; take GHOST TRAP.

- Walk down.

Chapter 3: The Frozen Cave

- Walk down.

- Use PESTLE (V); pick up POWDER.
- Walk right.
- Place POWDER, PAPER and PENCIL (W); take CODE.

- View CODE (X).

- Take MYSTICAL CRYSTAL 2/2.
- Inspect DEVICE; use MYSTICAL CRYSTAL; take IMPROVED DEVICE.
