Summary and Mission

The Systems Administrators support the development and production server infrastructure.


Responsibilities

  • Execute business and infrastructure project tasks
  • Engage in hardware and software lifecycle management tasks
  • Participate in on-call rotation (SA)
  • Understand IT processes
  • Enhance IT documentation
  • Build operational automation using PowerShell or other scripting languages
  • Build relationships with IT and other stakeholders


Qualifications

  • Requires 6 years of IT experience (at least 2 years in a large server environment)
  • Customer-focused mindset
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to balance competing priorities
  • Experience supporting highly available, customer-facing services
  • Experience with server software such as IIS, Exchange, Active Directory and SharePoint
  • Windows Server OS administration experience
  • Windows Enterprise environment experience
  • Windows and Mac Workstation troubleshooting experience
  • Operational familiarity with configuration management systems such as System Center Configuration Manager or Salt
  • Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking fundamentals
  • Load balancer interaction
  • VMware vCenter experience
  • Windows Software Update patching experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Linux/Unix administration skills
