Come Play

SkyRocket Studios, the creators of Dungeon Boss, Fairway Solitaire, Fairway Solitaire Blast and many other mobile, free-to-play hits, is seeking a Producer for an internal, mobile free-to-play development team.

Your overall mission will be to coordinate the development, launch and live operations of a mobile, free-to-play game. In addition to artists, engineers and designers, you’ll work closely with a wide variety of studio resources, including product managers, game data analysts, marketing managers and game quality assurance. Producers are at the center of it all, cutting through argument, debate and doubt and offering solutions that everybody can understand.

The Mission

  • Deliver world-class, free-to-play, mobile gaming services on time and on budget by managing all facets of production and development.
  • Drive the development of product requirements, scope, schedule and budget through launch and during live operations.
  • As one of the primary points of contact and communication for a project, coordinate with exec and senior producers to hammer out alignment on goals and deliverables with product management and studio executives.
  • Collaborate with other producers and studio directors in the development and implementation of best practices, standardized processes and shared learnings.
  • Provide feedback on game design and features, based on an expert understanding of mobile, free-to-play games and the best practices of business competitors.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Demonstrated track record of shipping high-quality games in a direct, internal production role, with 3+ years of production experience, ideally with a focus on free-to-play, mobile development.
  • Expert-level understanding of the mobile, free-to-play market. Bring your phone or tablet to the interview – we’ll want to see what games you’re playing and ask you why you’re making in-app purchases (or why not).
  • Expert-level communication and project management skills, with a focus on agile methodologies and rapid iteration.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
