Customer Reviews
Sable Maze: Twelve Fears is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 20.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent! I bought the CE of this game last year, which I enjoyed very much; it immediately went into my "PlayAgainSometime" folder. Others have written comprehensive reviews regarding the specifics of this entry into the Sable Maze series, and I just wanted to stop in and add my enthusiastic five stars. This game certainly merits them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from All the Boxes Checked-This is an Amazing Game! Right from the start this game keeps you engaged as you go through the 12 fears. And, you do go through 12 fears which makes this game play satisfyingly longer than most. The game's storyline developed nicely with a few twists and turns. The HO scenes are multi-stepped and provide a nice challenge. Overall, this game is a delight that does not disappoint!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sable Maze: Twelve Fears I loved this game. Graphics were easy on the eyes, Everything was a puzzle, even the HOG's and quite doable. I hope the other episodes will be just as interesting. good game for Halloween time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fascinating Fears Enthrall What I liked best about this game was maybe the way the background was laid out in various maze structures, including the kind you can really only ever find yourself in in dreams, or in interactive hidden object adventures. Mazes make great impact for the eyes and mind. And I loved walking through all those vast outdoor areas crammed into one building between the indoor rooms. That's what real life should be like. I enjoyed working with the fear orb "amulet", finding each lens, putting it together, getting used to the black smoke. I liked, not answering emails, but getting paid in keys for it, very reliably, and the messages themselves were excellent, fortune cookie magic. This is the kind of reading I like ina game. I am grateful for a game that has ambiance one I can get completely immersed in. The serious, yet fun, eerie, psychotropic atmosphere was all there for me. The music was a bit annoyingly repetitive sometimes, maybe that was intended to instill nervousness. Something I would like a lot more of is the effect of progression through the sequence of numbered levels. I like knowing where I am in the game, not to mention the precision and rhythm of ordered events. I like artwork to be artwork. The hidden object scenes, while not ever what I play for, were clear and novel, varied in type. The individual tools and keys hidden within the outer game, on the other hand, were sometimes so hard to find that it made me mad. However the various "minigames" that became openable upon finding these objects were so cool, so new, and just so intense that I quickly got over it, and got lost in the pleasure of the playing of the game again. One of the best games I've ever played.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from needs 5 stars! This one is different ( in a good way ). Love what they did with hos & mini games. Liked it so much I had to do a review when I never have before. I will be watching for another one of these!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Game!!! I have never written a review for a game, but I just had to for this one, It was incredible!!!! The story was very different. I never was bored, and I always had a sense of moving forward in the storyline. It was one of those games that didn't just end all of a sudden and left you feeling cheated. Even though I played on the hard level, it was not too challenging, and I was able to play with very few hints. That is just how I like to play!! I really enjoyed this one and would suggest it to anyone that likes playing hidden object/adventure games!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stand aside, Twleve Fears! You 'ain't gonna scare me from saving my daughter! I was determined not to let my own fears stop me from saving my daughter!! Way to go Daily Magic and BigFish! Way to go! What a ride that was. So much to do and the puzzles, oh the puzzles. I skipped a couple not because they are difficult but because I lost patience with some of them. Not a hard game at all but tedious and very clever tasks to complete. I played the SE version. Great hidden object scenes and collecting all the mazes was fun. The 12 fears amulet was awesome! As I conquered one fear after another with my daughter right by my fingertips and hanging by a thread and to have her taken once again by another fear was a bit distressing, regardless if you're a mother or father or anyone, to see your loved one in danger can get your adrenaline flowing, and man o' man, my motherly instinct kicked in like a mama bear protecting her cub! Even though, in this case, I was the dad saving my daughter, Amber. I was also concerned for another key character in this story, Marissa who you will learn about. What a great game! Loved it! I wasn't too keen on the match game because that option takes longer to complete and I was engrossed in the gameplay and enjoyed the interactive HOS. But you do have that option if you are akin to match games. Also, the music and voiceovers were great! I liked the thought that was put into this game. Intriguing, nail-biting and a roller-coaster ride of fun. Either I'm getting better at these games or they are becoming shorter but no matter, the principle of the thing is if you like intrigue and lots to do, you will love this game. I highly recommend it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Puzzles and More Puzzles! My favorite part of these games is the puzzles, and this game has a LOT of them. Played on the hardest mode and didn't have a problem with any of them, so the game could have been a bit more challenging. I'm not a huge fan of HOS's but this game has some variety because you have to find the hidden objects and then use them in the scene. Music was good, voiceovers were good, and the graphics weren't the best I've ever seen but they were certainly adequate. I mean, who really cares if the characters' lips move in sync to their speaking? That's not why I play these games. 4 1/2 stars for me!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Twelve Fears I seldom write a review but after seeing only 2 people submitted reviews I just had to add my two cents. Will not rehash what has been said already. This game was a total surprise for me. I thought I would not like it in the beginning but grew to love it as I got more involved in the story. I found that I looked forward to playing and didn't want to stop to take a break as I wanted to see what happened next. I felt it was very innovative and challenging with lots to do in the HOP scenes, not just lists. Puzzles were also to my liking as I am not a puzzle fan and skip a lot of them but not this time. We all have our own tastes and not everyone will agree with me but that's ok. Have fun if you decide to give it a try.
