Rated 5 out of 5 by from Truly excellent game I had trouble getting started with this game and almost gave it up. But I kept getting the "scroll button" directions and finally plugged in my mouse. Like magic that right click and scroll opened up all the activity. After that it was addicting. Yes it is difficult but logical. You just have to keep working on everything until you find the solution. Thought I would never find the way out of some places. Not finished yet and I think it will get harder. It takes a lot of looking at items and thinking about what to do. I love the 3 D aspect. Voice overs are great. Wish there were more new games like this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Kind of Game This game is a "high-end" adventure game. The developer, Microids, has been making these types of games for two decades, including the Syberia series. It's really well-done but takes a very long time to finish and is a TRUE adventure game. I highly recommend this game but be warned that there is very little hand holding and don't expect to finish the game in a day or two (unless you are playing around the clock). As an aside, at one time, BFG was beginning to make games closer to this type, but then it switched ownership and that put and end to that direction. Unfortunate, for us hardcore adventurers. I tend to give lower ratings to most BFG games these days. Once you play this game, you will understand why I do that. There simply is no comparison between this and the more cartoonish graphics in most games these days. Give this a try. I think you will like it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow!!!! (Several times over) Well here it is - a game for all those who want something different! Very similar to games like Siberia, Facility 47, Green Moon except I rate it higher on almost every count! This is the first game in ages I have given 5 stars to even though I haven't actually finished it yet! As others have said there is no hand-holding here - no hints, sparkles, map etc - you have to use your grey matter and yay! nothing illogical so far, the first game in a long while I can say that about! Not seen a hint of a fairy, witch, demon or mythical beast of any sort so that's another plus for me. I won't explain the controls as I found it was fun at the start figuring out how to use them but I can say you will probably not have seen much like these before and, once you've got the hang of it, it becomes real easy! I would advise though that you use every control option on absolutely everything you encounter or you run the risk of a very unsatisfying journey! WARNING! If you love HOS's you will probably hate this game - there aren't any (well so far at least!) Also if you hate sci-fi games or games based in reality and present day then pass on this! Please - I beg you to at least try the demo even though some will exit after about 1 minute - for many I think it will prove a refreshing treat! My thanks to BFG for this one and to all gamers have a great day!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WELCOME SUBJECT 13 HOW DO YOU FEEL? I'm betting this game will be hated by many gamers, and loved by hardcore gamers looking for a challenge. This game isn't going to hold your hand, and it's not going to have any sparkling HO's, the puzzles you need to solve in order to escape, will require you to solve it using neurons and logic, there's no Strategy Guide safety net. The graphics are basic and honestly ugly, but that's because you aren't locked up in an elegant mansion filled with colorful butterflies. The mechanics will drive you just as mad as the Professor of research, but the storyline will intrigue you so much, you'll put up with all the madness, and frustration! To navigate your way through this old school sci-fi adventure, you need to click and hold the right mouse button, and scan the area, this isn't a point and click game, and you can look all around you, up, down, left, right and even behind objects. When a gear icon appears when you scan the area, you'll need to left click and hold, which prompts 3 categories, an eye which prompts your character, Frank Fargo,to say something, if there's anything to say, the hand icon allows you to pick up an item, some items will go into your inventory on the bottom left, and if you choose the magnifying glass, it will zoom into the area. Most of the areas of importance require you to figure out what to do with it, or how to open it, you may need to push buttons, lift latches, turn a key, or place items correctly, move all around the object in a 2 or 3D manner, to search for an "aha" moment or clue to how it works. You may want to write down numbers, or anything that might be important in the future. Some areas will give you somewhat of a clue or step in the right direction, when the Question Mark lights up. Most rooms or areas have 2 Testimonies to discover. These are yellow, and are voice recordings from various researchers, these are important, and they paint a picture of what is going on, it's they only way you'll learn the storyline! You will be asked if you want to stay and find the missing Testimonies or leave the area, once you find a way out that is. This game won't be a game for everyone, it's by no means an easy game, and the features and game mechanics are difficult to say the least, to navigate. Please play the demo first to see if this game will be your cup of tea, enjoy your escape!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I Need to Brush Up on Mine Sweeper! Had a lot of fun with this one until I got to the last puzzle, which is a doozie! I've never played Mine Sweeper, so I was hopelessly lost until I picked up some tips on YouTube. Now that I've caught on I'll probably play this one again. It should go much faster next time. Kudos to Big Fish for offering something different for those of us who like a challenge. More, please!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding! Now this what I call a game. Lots of head scratching and putting puzzle pieces together. Searching for clues. Love the book with its mysteries. Thank you Big Fish for the wonderful puzzle games that have been showing up lately. I hope to see more games like this. Keep them coming.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Game and a Real Bargain to boot.. This game reminds me of Facility 47. I like that there is no strategy guide and no hints. It just makes you apply logical thinking and grey matter to complete the tasks at hand. Very intriguing and compelling. Brilliant game Bigfish!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from FABULOUS - MORE OF THIS TYPE OF GAME PLEASE!!! It won't be universally liked - but as a long-time Big Fish player I can truly say that it is games like this I most long for and quickly snap up! No boredom, no sense of having 'been here before'... just good brain teasing gaming. Thanks Big Fish... please can we have some more?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Ultimate challenge in gaming... This is an advanced, but technological game for the avid thrill seekers. You have to figure it all out, alone. It may seem difficult at first but once you put on your thinking cap and maneuver properly with the right mouse button it can be all systems go. I thought about our astronauts and going to Mars on this game, but that is just me. Don't hesitate for a real advanced challenge. There is no back up info, one just has to think outside of the box. Put yourself in the driver's seat. So...what would you do in this situation. I am curious to see how others fair with this game.
