Chase for Adventure: The Lost City is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 38.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from GOOD FUN The story is great you go through the game wondering if you will find her father and ultimately the storyline is more then that....I don't want to give it away so I won't spoil it for everyone. But the game is good you do need strategy to get through this game .........I cannot wait until the next one comes out

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sometimes old style is good Since I like TM games and there are not a lot offered lately I am enjoying this. Some of us just want to relax with a game and this is doing that for me. No it's not anything new but familiarity has its charm. I am having fun with this so that is all that is important to me. The English mistakes just make me laugh and there is enough strategy needed that I have to play some levels more than once. I don't like games anymore that make me tear my hair in frustration or that I have to refer to the forum for every level. So I recommend this game for those that just like to play.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Chase for Adventure strategy is the answer I love this game. It is a TM but I found it quite challenging. The farther you go the more you must use the proper strategy. In certain chapters, if you go the wrong way or do not use the increase buttons at the bottom you will find you self starting over. This to me is a challenge. I loved it. Pay attention to your task given you. Map out how to achieve your goals and have fun. None of us really want a game that doesn't challenge us. This one will give you a run for your money. Swim on fishes and have fun!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A fun game I play loads of Time Management games and especially enjoy the builder type. I had a lot of fun with this one. There were some twists in that you have to go a certain way or you run out of resources. Had to start over a few times now and then, but once I got the rhythm of the game I really enjoyed myself. Unlike the other reviewers I liked the storyline and actually read the text (most games I just click through the dialog.) After I got used to the game I was able to go back at the end and get gold on all levels. Will definitely play this one again later. I also cracked up a bit when they referenced Elven Legend. :-)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good little game! If you like TM games this is a goody! I was surprised find it more challenging than I expected. You have to think to get through some levels. Great fun!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great TM i do like this game a lot even though I do not think it is for beginners. Rather early you have to really think about what you are doing and how. So it can be challenging.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just plain good time-management fun! This is a standard "gather resources" and "upgrade" time management game. It is however very user friendly and fun to play. The characters move at good speed, you can multiclick your tasks, and there are many different bonuses. You DO need strategy though quite early on as to how to use them and which upgrades to do first (if at all) which is quite refreshing rather than "upgrade everything" and you will make it. There is a relaxed, normal and expert mode If you enjoyed Hurcules, Gnomes Garden etc, you will enjoy this. Plenty to do in a pleasant screen environment and just enough to think about without frustration.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid Game, Not Special, Terrible English -- But Fun! This is a solid game. I love it, it's the one that made me fall in love with gathering resource/pathway type games, although now that I'm replaying it I find I've definitely played better games in this category. It's definitely a solid, good game, with some qualities I definitely look for in these type of games. First, you can queue actions. I tend not to play these games if I can't queue actions, so that's a big one for me. Second, the resource production automatically goes into your bank, which I definitely like -- I hate sending workers to pick those up nonstop, since you have to factor that into the level time. The graphics are fun. The storyline, as others have mentioned, is nothing particularly special, and I found myself, even on the first play through, skimming it instead of reading it properly. I am big on games with stories, so it's rare that I skip through -- I watch every cutscene in every game but the story was so bland I couldn't be bothered. There are definitely better stories out there. The English is, as others have mentioned, terrible. It's not as bad as the sequel, as it is at least understandable, but if you are a grammar fiend, do not bother with this game. Overall, it's a fun game, nothing particularly special. I'd recommend trying the demo. If you haven't played resource gathering/pathway games before, this is a good one to start with, since it's not a particularly challenging one, but does have some challenge, and it's pretty cute.
