Atlantic Quest 3 is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 19.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from 'Ran out of ideas?' I did enjoy playing this game apart from the fact I finished developing the scene after 33 levels. It just has a finish flag and the pop up 'developers ran out of ideas for buildings'. Seriously? I understand they are trying to be glib but it stinks of laziness especially as there are 100 levels available. Maybe another scene: Queeny loves what you have done and asks to develop another run down area/s perhaps? Also what was the point of the hidden object scenes, these could of been far more integral and useful to the game play. The idea of the extra fish was good and I liked it, rather stressful when trying to get rid of the little blighters in the 3 star time limit. I also liked the option to change type of match 3, gave a personal option to the game. I liked the basic game play, which is why I originally bought it but the end completely lets it down due to lack of completion from the developers. As there is no need to I will not play the rest of the levels, which is a shame.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from GOOD GAME, BUT..... This is a fun game - good graphics, good storyline, not very challenging (will suit most levels of players), but - it's too short! When I play any game there needs to be a goal to aim for. In this case, you reach the end goal quite quickly, and after that you're just playing for the sake of playing. I found it rather unsatisfying, and deleted the game after I played to the end in quite a short time.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Almost impossible to win A new Match 3 game is always a treat so after playing the demo and 'enjoying' the challenge I decided to take advantage of yesterdays' Half price sale. I found the game really difficult to achieve more than one of the possible three stars. Other than exploding octopus bombs, gained by matching four of them, no other power up is available until the Forge has been built and then a Hammer allows you to take out one square or obstacle. After that an Arrow tool takes out one line, a Puffer fish bomb takes out a goodly section and a Laser takes out a column and a row simultaneously. All power ups are limited to the three which are achieved by dropping their icons off the field by matching below them. There is no chance to gain any more by four matches etc. I finished this game to the best of my abilities after a few hours play. At the end is the sad confession from the devs that they simply ran out of ideas for more buildings so there is no point in continuing for me. The graphics are brilliantly done although mega tiny and the music was boring orchestral more like a film theme. The option to be able to change game style during the game in progress was a bonus but I am not a fan of either chain or collapse so never really tried them. All in all a game to pass the time but I personally prefer more rewards for five matches of anything, more power ups and then a chance to upgrade buildings more than once. Put in some more variety, bigger graphics and a better soundtrack and it would be better.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Atlantic Quest 3 Don't waste your time or money on this one. Very repetitive, no excitement, generally boring.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Only a 2 star for me I found this game boring and difficult. I play a lot of match 3's and usually, even when difficult they flow along better than this one. For almost an hour (I didn't finish the demo), I only got one power-up and that could only be had by matching 1 "species" of tile...the game was pretty easy at first but rapidly got to the point of being just plain monotonous because the tile characters simply did not fall. It was like, if you didn't play the exact plan, then you could stay on the same level forever. I must have restarted one level 4 times just so I could move on. Not a fun game, I like my match 3's to be a little less fixed. Game is not timed in a sense, but you do get stars for completing it within a specified time.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Way too small I was excited to see a match 3 game, however....I like to play in windowed mode. I have a very large screen for MPG's with sharp graphics....When I enter window mode it is just a small patched window making it very very hard to see the tiles. Why do some developers not make window mode a larger size. Window mode does not = postage stamp. Come on guys/gals, make the windowed area larger or at least able to adjust it. Seems to be a cute game but not real sure, cant see it. If you don't play in widow mode then it is a cute game.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Stuck I agree this game doesn't have much challenge to it. Nothing extra or special to add to the fun. However, I can't get past level 12 where the boxes are to each side of the game. I've played and played and played without being able to clear those boxes and continue to the next level.
