Rated 5 out of 5 by from surprise It was a surprise to find this game as fun as I did. But it is a free trial so had nothing to lose.It is a connect match three, other than that it did not seem special, graphic okay, but seen much better, music okay but heard much better and yet I found it hard to stop playing it. Think it is going to be a buy for me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Can't stop playing This is a devilish good game that will drive you crazy - in a good way. I don't know how many chapters there are, but I'm on chapter 4. I've had to play some parts of each chapter a few times because the timed ones are often not easy. Countless times I have been within one move of winning one of the games in some of the levels. You have to be persistent and evaluate what you need to do to beat the clock. I don't like timed games, but I understand why some of these are timed. Some parts of the game you are limited to a certain number of moves rather than being timed. I like the game and the storyline. I get frustrated and quit for a while. Then I go back and give it another try - and I win and go on to the next game/chapter. The only thing I would really like to see changed is that some of the timed parts would give you just a little bit more TIME - just 10 seconds would make a huge difference once in a while. I've cursed more than once trying to get to the next level, but I keep coming back and trying again. Makes it really sweet when you do win and move to the next level within a chapter. If you are stubborn and determined, like I can be, I think you will enjoy this game as much I do. I gave it four stars because the time factor really is a bit too short for some of the games. I want to have fun and not grind my teeth down to the gums.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from GOOD GAME! It's fun to play something different. Other reviewers have detailed what you do to get through it, and up to a point I agree with them. I'm not a lover of limited move games, but so far it's working well. Timed levels are challenging but doable. The story is fun, although I found the game skipped at least one chapter, so I missed finding out that she was searching for her father until she was being followed. All in all, it's a bit different (hard to find these days, Big Fish) and thoroughly enjoyable. I've bought it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Match Three Game With a Story. This is a match three game that reveals more of a story about an author after each level is completed. Make matches of three or more by joining the same colour tiles from any direction. Has power ups to help and blocks you need to clear that you find in most match three games. Examples - clear enough of one colour in one go to earn a tile that will clear the entire board of a colour. Do this by combining the super tile with at least two of the colour you want to clear the board of. Blocks where you need to make matches beside them at least two times to free or clear them The game play and the story are interesting, I liked the graphics and the voice overs. What I didn't like - Seeing the clock with the hands going around and around before and after a level is completed, This became annoying to me. Timed levels - I prefer my levels not to be timed so I can think out my next moves. Trying to finish anything in a game that is timed is more stressful than fun for me. A nice game and I would have bought it if the clock and timed levels were not part of the game.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I Lost Interest Quick I played the one hour trial version. Between the 3 star rating and reviews, I was not about to spend any money to play this game so I decided to test it. I couldn't follow along with the story line because focusing on the match 3 mini game and the cut scenes, I forgot what was even happening with the story. I didn't even finish my one hour trial with like 20 minutes to spare.. I got bored..

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Might be lots of fun ...but I've given glowing reviews before based on playing the demo only and at least a couple of times, wished I could take back my recommendation after purchasing and playing further. I'm going to take a chance on this one and hope I don't regret it. I'm not a fan of limited moves; as for timed play, I like to be given the choice because sometimes I feel like challenging, fast play and sometimes I don't. Other than music & sound effect levels, you have no choices here. I did enjoy playing the demo and like to have a selection of M3s on hand -- different types of gameplay, bonuses, levels of challenge -- to suit my mood at any given time. Story isn't a big deal for me when it comes to M3s but this one seems a bit interesting. I wasn't asked to enter a player name so I'm assuming that only one player can play the game until he/she finishes before another can start a new game. The game's a bit different from most M3s so I highly recommend you give the demo a try before you buy.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not a "Best Seller" for me I just played part of the Demo and did not buy this game even though I was hoping for another good Match 3 game. This game has many timed or limited move levels with no option to shut them off. I especially do NOT like timed games. If you don't mind them then you might like this game. But I consider myself good at Match 3 games and I could not get through one of the timed levels. Not fun. I don't like failing! ;) Graphics are cute with an interesting story at least the part I saw. Not a winner for me.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Interesting Story, Not So Interesting Match 3 This is a chain type Match 3 game, my least favorite, where you click and drag a line through several crystals to make a match of at least 3 of the same kind of crystal to remove them. You can even make diagonal moves, and the larger the matches, the more bonuses you will earn, such as Lightning or the Golden Owl which removes all crystals of the same color as matched. Each level has a different goal such as removing a specific amount of each crystal within limited moves, or earning a specific amount of points within limited moves. Eventually you will earn Power-ups that can swap two crystals or even remove specific crystals. There are the usual obstacles such as Stones and Mud that can only be removed by making matches next to them or if lightning hits them. After each level you will follow a journalist as she struggles to write about a creepy mansion. It's a good storyline, but I'm just not that into this type of Match 3 game.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I made a mistake --- I played the demo of this game and LOVED it! I like Match3 games and I liked that this one is somewhat different from the run of the mill. I think the graphics - '50's style comics with terrific color shading -- and the consistent music were good. The story is terrific, which is why I bought the game. Now for the mistake part. The first level I played AFTER I bought the game is timed. I've played it over a dozen times and always run out of time. And you can't skip a level, even with a penalty. So here I am with a story I want to find out about and a game at which I am totally stuck. I don't like timed levels, but I don't hate them usually, and eventually I can get through them, but not this one. SAD! I recommend the game for the story and the different game play, but make sure you can live with the timed levels before buying.
