Griddlers: Tropical Delight is rated 2.1 out of 5 by 12.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Griddlers: Tropical Delight I like this game..I am a big fan of the Gridders Puzzles and I do not feel it is a guessing game only. I think it is more a matter of the process of elimination. Same with 12 labors of Hercules.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from GRIDDLERS:TROPICAL DELIGHT Well, I made it through the first chapter and find it to be a pretty good game. It is pretty tough, but I am stubborn and have a strategy that works pretty well....guess because I've done so many 'Griddlers'. I first do the obvious moves with each color and then my strategy comes into play. I enjoy figuring things out, so, even though I get frustrated, finishing a puzzle without pulling out any hair is a good thing! I don't like the music as well as Hercules, which I also bought, but the challenge is great for this 76 year old!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not sure on this one I am a fan of some mosaics but this one didn't quite make the mark. Fairly easy to figure out where you should chose and logic and good guessing does come into play. Good thing is you can replay the level and, hopefully, remember where NOT to choose. Graphics are nice and colorful which I like and some commented on the music which I wasn't even aware of. I am not going to recommend this one only because I didn't find it that interesting. But, play the demo and find out for yourself. This might be THE game you have been looking for. Above all, Have fun!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not a Fair Challenge: No Delight The best Griddlers require us to think, to strategize, to use our ability to solve them with logic and experience, and that require only one tool: our brains. This game doesn't play fair. Within the first 10 games, we encounter levels that we cannot win except by making lucky guesses or using a hint, which of course takes away the third star. I don't throw dice and I don't play Griddlers for guessing games. I play them for the challenge and for the satisfaction of solving even the most difficult games with strategy. Even though this game has a nice appeal, with enjoyable music, it's nothing I would buy. It's not worth playing if I can win only by luck.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from needs some help This game is a big disappointment. I liked the art work, Old school Hawaii. The puzzles start off fine but by the middle of the game the squares are so small and the numbers so tiny you can not see them. I also felt as the game got harder you had to do some guessing to finish. That ceased to matter because by the time i got to level 60 I could not tell the difference between a six and an eight and was struggling to make out the rest of the letters so I quit. Play for free until your time runs out if you must but don't waste your money buying it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Sorry for me it is a so-so I tried it for 5 minutes. Couldn't handle the total look of the game. I do not use sound so can't rate that portion. Didn't like the game at all. It does complete the row or column once you fill in the correct space. This may be an ok game for beginners to this type of challenge but not a buy for me.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not Good These games are normally based on logic but this one seems to be pure guesswork. The graphics, i.e. the numbers on the grid are not clear. Altogether, this game appears to have been put together hurriedly.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Too Bad I tried the game regardless of the other interviews. Unfortunately they were correct. Too dim in the numbers and when you get to where there are several places for the ones to fit it you must guess where. I am sorry I was hoping it would be better. I will not purchase. I did not listen to the story or the music which I find distracting when trying to solve puzzles.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from NOT a buy for me I am an AVID griddler player. I found with this game that logic is not included. In the FIRST TWO puzzles you had to GUESS where to put your color. You'll probably be right for these - it's obvious but later on it isn't. Griddlers are LOGIC puzzles. There is no guessing in the Hercules series, Mosaics (with the penguins), etc. I usually buy griddlers BEFORE playing them. Glad I didn't do this with this one - I wouldn't play it even if it was free!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Only a Guess Solves I love griddler games. I generally "buy" them sight unseen. So glad I did not do that with this one. The joy of these games is using logic and thought processes to solve the puzzles. Use of logic not to make mistakes and to complete puzzles without hints. I only worked the first two puzzles. BOTH required me to GUESS to complete the puzzles, no logical solution. This game is a NO BUY. for me. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this game.
