12 Labours of Hercules VII: Fleecing the Fleece Collector's Edition is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 18.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Stumped by Bonus Level 3 (Level 3.11) I have played all the Hercules series, some more than once. This is one of my favorites! But, I am completely stumped by Bonus Level 3 (level 3.11). I cannot figure out how to open the light blue portal, which means I cannot progress on this level beyond collecting food and wood. Can anyone help me? What am I missing? I even searched YouTube and Google for an answer but was not successful. So, it makes me think I am having a mental block of some sort and am the only person who cannot figure this out. I appreciate any feedback (and am hoping for an "AH HA" moment). Thanks.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from No real change I've grown to love these games and have 2 Hercules, but all are basically the same, just different layouts. This one did have something new, and it took me awhile to figure it out, but you get wood from wood columns that you just keep using until the rings are gone. The layouts were small, seemed to be in the trees on branch trails, but didn't get to play long enough to launch the Argo into the ocean, then maybe there would be islands or something. i know this isn't a CE game and may look at it again when it comes out as an SE

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's All in Your Mindset Casual player just to pass a little time? This game might be it. Unfortunately, if you're experienced, competitive and otherwise spoiled by some of the more powerful timed-strategy gems out there (think: Rescue Team, Roads of Rome, Gardens, Inc.), well, you might be looking elsewhere for another one for your permanent games library. The basic resources, their values and collection methods are the same as in the previous 12s; the levels are pretty routine, the goals are easy enough to discern, and there are the same three modes: Relaxed, Casual, Expert, the latter of which is worthwhile playing if you're into this genre. Graphics are cartoonish but clear and fantasy-driven, and the background audio is intriguingly new age-y considering the Hercules theme. Not enough variety and challenge for me, sorry, though some of the quirks like a door slamming when the worker goes back inside the tent and some amusing achievements made the game a bit better. In my opinion, not ideal for experienced timed-strategy players, but it's a cute game and A-OK for a rainy day.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Same-O, Same-O The only reason I bought this as a "collector's edition" was it was on the 65% off offer. I can't see any difference in this game from the other Hercules (all of which I own and was hoping for something new). Pretty much same format and same game play with a few differences being the stumps that continually supply wood. Music at times is annoying. It's enjoyable if you want a no-brainer game for relaxation other than that nothing different. The only ones getting "fleeced" are the fishies who paid full collector's edition price - wait for the SE.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too busy for me *Based on demo alone While I found this Hercules edition to have the best music and nicest visuals, it was also far too busy for me to relax and enjoy: there were things constantly steaming, flashing, reminders and arrows blotting out the scenery.. It seemed like it was designed for people with no desire to concentrate whatsoever which is weird, because the whole point of these games is to concentrate on your objectives and get them done in the best possible time. Unfortunately I won't be buying this, but you should give it a try if fed up with the standard Hercules' games. At least the devs tried something new, hey?

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Slow & Boring. They can't seem to come up with new ideas. They tried to make it more of a challenge by having some of the chapters have 5 or 6 golden teeth and pits in each chapter. It took so long to acquire the 50 units of food and 40 units of wood required for EACH object that it made it very repetitious, boring and time consuming it took FOREVER! The real challenge was trying to stay awake.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor This is poor quality and fun. I think it's a copy with just graphics changed from a previous game of them.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Literally Fell Asleep Playing There's nothing new about this. Its been the same game over & over & over. I only tried this one because I had forgotten how boring this series had been, and I stuck with it for most of the free demo hour because a. I'd fallen asleep from boredom and b. I had hoped they would've added some content. Something. But alas.
