Customer Reviews
Jig Art Quest is rated 3.4 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Jig Art Quest I bought this game after completing just two puzzles. One of the complaints I read from fellow reviewer mrm2006, was that all of the puzzles are too dark, with the exception of the puzzle shown in the description. That statement is correct, I haven't assembled all of the puzzles yet, but they are pretty dark, in fact some of the puzzle tiles are practically black. Being the puzzle geek that I am, I decided that I welcome the challenge, besides, this game gives you the option of downloading your own pictures, so I'm looking forward to doing some of my own pictures as well as the pictures offered. There were no instructions other than a single page that explained some vague features, but fortunately, the game mechanics are fairly simple. You are shown one square picture tile at a time (there is no completed picture example) you can rifle through several available tiles, but not all tiles are available, more are offered as you place tiles. There is no timer and no penalities, at least when playing in Normal mode, you can place a tile on the grid type board, and move them around as often as necessary, and for me this puzzle game is relaxing. There is a Hard and an Extremist mode as well which probably is timed, but I haven't done any puzzles in any other mode. There are a couple of bonuses available to help you place pieces correctly, one that places a square tile in the slot you choose, the other places pieces in an entire row of your choice. As I stated eariler, you can download your own pictures and you can download your own music, which is a good thing because the music is very annoying, enjoy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I don't understand anyone that does not love this game if you love jigsaw puzzles This jigsaw was ahead of it's time. It has variety and when your assembling the puzzle it comes together as one picture non of those lines. It had a way to chose the music for the pictures so if you like one music you could add it to the other jigsaw instead. It was the most perfect Jigsaw I ever played and to this day I seen non that could match it. I waited and waited for the next one to come out but I guess they just gave up. This review is really late I bought the game when it first came out a few years back. But when I saw the reviews it received I just had to stand up and say something.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Puzzle Fun Yet Too Small This puzzle game has great graphics, even though most would say they are too dark, and you can create your own puzzles if you want a lighter image. There are 3 different levels of difficulty. If you are stuck you can have one piece placed correctly or 8 pieces placed at once. My only complaint is that full screen does not mean the puzzle is full screen. Instead it is just a quite small area of the full screen mode. That is disappointing to me, as the rest of the game is well made and quite fun if you love puzzles. Having it in a larger playing field would have been an excellent plus. I recommend it because it still can be a complex puzzle, and those are the ones I like the most.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wonderful! I loved this game! My only complaint is that it's way too short.I loved the format of this game and cannot wait to see if there will be a Jig Art 2! A couple of the puzzles gave me a real challenge but overall it was a enjoyable way to pass the time.Nice graphics but i turned the music off.Looking forward to more puzzle games from Harmonic Flow!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Disappointment? Really? I loved this game, especially how it was formated. The only drawback was that I think a few more puzzles could have been included as it didn't take long for me to complete it. I wish there was another puzzle game just like it !

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Had the Potential I'm a jigsaw puzzle fan and I was a little disappointed in this. As my title says... it had the potential. They started with a good thing but then they stopped with limited puzzles. This could have been taken further. Even the capability of adding my own images to be turned into a jigsaw puzzle wasn't enough. Buy it if you want but there might be better virtual jigsaw puzzle games.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disliked It - Too Dark and Dreary - Yuck! I only played for 20 minutes. Roughly 2 puzzles. Graphics: Awful. Every picture, except the one shown on the video on the game description page is dark. So dark that you can't possibly put it together. In fact, the puzzles consisted of nothing more than dark skies, dark ground, black scenery and branches - not even trees but branches. Sound: The background music was very Renascence. That was nice. And probably would have been relaxing if not for the taxing difficulty of putting the puzzles together. Game Play: There are 12 levels. You have to put together at least one puzzle in the unlocked level to move to the next unlocked level. Otherwise, all the levels are locked. Unfortunately, the puzzles are all branches, twigs, black and night sky. There are 3 modes of difficulty ranging from normal to hard to extremist. I played on normal and the puzzles were impossible. Each puzzle has 2 bonuses you can use. 1x means it will put together one full line of the puzzle for you. 8x means the bonus can put 8 singular pieces in 8 individual places for you. You don't have to use all 8 at one time. This Glam-ma found this puzzle game way too dark, dreary and ungorgeous, not even very pretty pictures. I will not be purchasing it. I recommend you do what I did. Play all the puzzle games you can find on BF until you find the one that suits you. That's what I did and found the perfect puzzle game for me. I will encourage everyone to play this demo. It's an hour long and it's free. Who knows, if you like dark and dreary landscapes (I think that's what they were), this game could be the one you're looking for. Happy Gaming to All!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Shortest game I ever played, if you don't count Rock-Paper-Scissors I really couldn't believe how little this game has to offer. I mistakenly assumed that the first page of puzzles was just that - the FIRST of many. Nope. That's all, folks. I realize that it has the option to create your own puzzles, but so do many other puzzle games. I have played short games before, but no others that left me gaping in surprise at their brevity. I was finished with this one in about an hour and a half. Another thing about the game that I didn't enjoy was the new age/alternative subject matter of the puzzles. It was almost more like an introduction to an obscure philosophy than a game. I much prefer to give positive reviews, but, in this case, I cannot. There just isn't much there.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from very disapointed This game did nothing for me I just could not get into it. Now I say make your own call and just play before you buy and I will see what others say. I am not sure why I just could not get into it. Has me a little puzzeled lol
