A Plot Story is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 11.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice, restful clutter game. Advice: play it untimed. It is a great stress reliever that way. Clear up clutter, by two, or threes. It has variations: One large one small object, one color, on black and white. One big pile. Two big piles. Objects move about as you try clicking on the, and change positions when you try to click on the second one. Or the latest variation one disappears and one remains - but can be moved around. Sometimes you clear up the screen, sometimes a lot remains. In any case, they are fun challenges to be had. Nice visuals, some objects a bit unusual. Nice, unobrtusive story (we do not but these games for the stories, anyway). Good way to relax, solving these addictive puzzles.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happily Surprised! I honestly thought that I would play about 5 minutes of the demo and then delete it because I haven't enjoyed other junk pile games before. However, this game isn't like the others! This sort of combines the niceties of old fashioned HOPs (just searching through stuff to find what you need...no storybook format, find and replace, shadows, etc.), 'flip and find' tile match games, a couple of different junk pile varieties, and jigsaw and slide the strips picture games. I might have missed something, but I'm sure this will at least get your attention if you are looking for something a little different. There are 91 puzzles in all. I like that, while it has a storyline -- which I don't really care about -- it is done in a very unobtrusive way, yet has enough presence to please those who enjoy following a story and characters...easy to skip through if you just want to play the games. There are hidden crystals in all the junk pile and HOP games, and finding them will earn you extra hints. You can choose your level of play. Because I play games to relax, I chose the super casual that doesn't limit your time to complete each puzzle. My only problem with the game is that it is addictive!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 12 MINUTES INTO THE DEMO AND IT IS A BUY! Wow! What a great game. If you like puzzles you will LOVE this game. It is fun. I especially like that it can be untimed. I am not a big fan of timed games, only because I like to take "my time" and relax and enjoy playing at my own speed...which can be fast or slow..depending on how I feel at that particular time. lol. I almost did not try this game because the title did not let me know what it was about. I sure am glad that I did. It has many different facets to it. Thank you devs. Great job!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from DO YOU LOVE CLUTTER GAMES? THEN YOU'RE GONNA LOVE THIS GAME Who'd've thunk this game would be way more exciting than today's Collector's Edition release! If you love clutter games, this is basically the same, without the "Joe" part at least. You can choose between 3 different modes of difficulty, Very Casual with no time limits, Casual with just enough time (well, not always) or Hard which gives you 20% less time than casual. The "Plot" is about a young thief who is offered the thieving job of all time, one that will net her enough money to put her thieving career in the rear view mirror forever. All she has to do, is break into a wealthy mans mansion, and steal some papers he keeps hidden within a secret room. That seems simple enough, so on with the puzzle details. Although most of the puzzles are Clutter type games, there are also the occasional jigsaw puzzles or slider type puzzles available as well. If you've never played Clutter, these are HOP's where you must find matching pairs, triple matches or both, in a huge pile of clutter. Crystals can be collected with a single click. My favorite Clutter puzzle was finding a black and white match to a colored match, and I will admit, this one got me and I had to make several attempts before finding all the matches within the specified time! There are hints available, and more hints can be earned by completing the jigsaw puzzles. At the end of each Clutter round, your score is tallied with the number of items found, hints used, crystals found, and even your longest run of matches without mistakes. I definitely had a blast with this game, and for me, it's an immediate purchase, enjoy the junk!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from There's A Plot Afoot This is a very fun and relaxing Hidden Object/Puzzle game for me. It's similar to The Clutter games which are fun as well. The sound/music is good, the mechanics are smooth and the graphics are average. It can be played in Timed, Casual (still timed but I'm guessing more time on the clock) and relaxed. So jump into this game from Shaman Games and stick around while the "plot" thickens!! It seems they took the same characters from another one of their products called The Fall of the New Age. This would also be a good product to use a bonus punch on since it's nearing the end of the month.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Plot Story I wasn't expecting to like this game as much as I did. It's a simple match pairs or threes game with occasional puzzles with intermittent dialogue. It's simple gameplay that I found nicely relaxing. There's a choice of timed play or no time limits which is very important for the times I don't want to race against the clock. The only thing I don't like about this game is the title... "A Plot Story," how silly... maybe something lost in translation?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Entertaining Puzzle Game Clutter interspersed with standard HO game puzzles. The clutter scenes are exactly the same as the games available under the Clutter name -- the only difference being the graphics and the hidden objects themselves. Since I love the Clutter games, I certainly enjoyed playing this one and loved searching for completely different objects for a change. Those "standard HO game puzzles" are pretty much what you get with any straight hidden object game like the Park Ranger, Christmas Wonderland, Big City Adventure series although not geared toward children (as in super quick and easy). They're what caused me to take away a star in my rating. The first one was a jigsaw puzzle and I personally don't like playing those at all but they can't be skipped. The second was a slider puzzle and the third one had just appeared on my screen when the demo ended -- that was pretty late last night and I can't remember for sure what it was but it was very familiar, a matching or spot the differences puzzle. I long ago grew tired of those, find them boring and would rather just skip them but you can't. Joe's Clutter games offer much better puzzles, more variety and an abundance of them to choose from. I recommend this game for Clutter fans -- you'll appreciate the completely different hidden objects and graphics, same gameplay. I also recommend giving the demo a try to those who love straight hidden object games of the non-adventure type such as the series I mentioned above.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A nice change with no demons, princesses or animal helpers A Plot Story plays like the Clutter games except for several wonderful differences. First, the story line is actually a story and not about the game developer's life. This game's story line is simple and there's not a lot of reading which is great for those who don't like reading. Their are three modes of game play including untimed, timed and faster timed. I played on untimed so I could closely observe the game while I played. Each main part of the story opens with a jigsaw puzzle which sets the chapter in the story. After that, there are piles of items which we have to match in pairs or threes or however the level instructs us. Each item is well drawn and it pertains to the era of the game. Hints are re-charged by collecting crystals. The music is a cross between Gregorian chants and classical, which also fits in with the time period of the game. Graphics could have been better so that is why I didn't give a five star rating. I thought this game was a refreshing change of pace. It was relaxing to sit and enjoy the music while sipping my espresso. And when I feel like something a bit more challenging, I'll play the timed mode. I recommend you try this one.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from If you like the "Clutter" series... If you enjoy the Clutter series, this game is very similar. It does get repetitive when you are playing the same "match 2" or "match 3" levels but it is a good mindless game. The challenge level is lower than the "Clutter" series in my opinion.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Is there any storyline may I ask? Thank goodness I tried it first before I committed any money. I think this the worst game I have played on bigfish. Just puzzle after puzzle no story line. I gave up after ten minutes.
