Lost Artifacts: Golden Island Collector's Edition is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 16.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Was glad to see another one! Bought the original since I was running out of time to fill my punch card for a free game and glad I did and was happy to see another one. Not sure why this would be a CE but got it in a CE sale and am enjoying it as much as the first. Instructions and goals are easy to follow, you do have to pay attention - had to start over a few times - but overall it's an easy and enjoyable game. Love the little people running around and the music is pleasant and not intrusive (like some). So if you want a fairly easy game with a break from the doom, gloom, hideous creatures and ugly faces we're getting these days take the plunge.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Joe Succeeds This is my third clutter and the best of the last three. I didn't enjoy C VI, probably because I just didn't get into Leigh's story, so a return to Joe's own story was welcome. Challenging and enjoyable all at once, that's Clutter. It doesn't bother me, as it has other reviewers, that some images are reused. There's enough new stuff to keep it challenging. This Clutter also includes some types of games that were not in V or VI. But it doesn't really matter, Clutter is Clutter and it's all good. An excellent addition to the Clutter universe. Thanks, Joe.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun Relaxing Adventure Lost Artifacts: Golden Island Collector's Edition was a nice treat. Graphics were crisp and scenes wonderfully created. Music and sound were perfect for this game. It was easy to get through the entire game with bonus. I really liked the whizzing speed sound of the characters flying through the portals. Fun to watch as well. Gameplay linear. Creative characters with snarky voices. Sometimes you just need a simple game like Lost Artifacts too make you smile. I appreciate this game as it is a nice game to play for relaxation. No matter what your level, this game is a sure buy. I will replay this one when I need a stress break. Looking forward to another adventure with Claire and her team.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love Lost Artifacts I love TM games and I think this is a very cute one. However, everyone should try it for themselves, because we all like different things.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it!! Will buy it for sure. Looks better than Lost Artifacts, there's something to be said for the Collector's Editions, they always have something extra that makes the game more challenging.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lost Artifacts This is a charming and polished game. The gameplay is smooth with no hiccups in loading and transitioning between levels. The music and sound effects are nice. Goals for each level are clearly listed - a must in all time management games. The storyline is spot on with the overall goal of the game being to restore Atlantis. The graphics are charming and adorable. This is a must buy for me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Too easy I was so excited to have a new TM game and knew I would buy this one. The graphics and game controls are all good. I like the game and the others in the series. The only problem if there is one... it is too easy. I was able to score gold the first time around and all levels but two. If you like easy TM games this is for you. I would love it if there was a hard setting for those who enjoy a challenge. After all it is a "Time Management" game. Shouldn't be too easy.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from DECENT TIME MANAGEMENT GAME BUT UNNECESSARY CE OPTION Once again we are offered a Time Management game as a Collector's Edition, and once again, I'm going to gripe about the unnecessary need for a CE version, especially when it has very little to offer! There are no Puzzle Runes to find, no Morphing Objects to discover, and no Strategy Guide, at least none that I could see. I used to think that no TM game could benefit from being a CE at twice the cost, but after playing both versions of Elven Legends 5, I realized that I did actually really like finding the Morphing Objects. For me, that feature was challenging because I was on the clock so to speak, to not only finish the levels with 3 stars, but I also had to take time away from my TM tasks, in order to look for the Morphs. I still don't feel the need to pay a CE full price, even with Morphing Objects, but I now realize that I might opt for the CE on sale at an SE price, IF it had Morphing Objects, and collectibles and IF it was a really good TM game. In the first Lost Artifacts game, the archaeological team was able to stop the Dark Priest from doing his Dark deeds, and the team regretfully had to say goodbye to their newfound native friends. Unfortunately, the airplane was no match for a hurricane they encountered, and they crashed on a large but remote island in the middle of the ocean. They discovered a tribe of Atlantean's that had survived when the city of Atlantis was sunk by another evil-doer, and the team has once again agreed to help them return to their beloved city, after defeating the evil-doer of course! There are the usual tasks to perform of gathering resources of Food, Wood, Ore, Gold, Lumber, and the usual buildings to repair such as Huts for workers, Sawmills for Lumber, Farms for food, Mills or a Blacksmith barn. Some levels require that you upgrade certain buildings to a level 2 as well. You may need to build a house to accommodate a specialized person to rid the paths from certain obstructions such as a Mages house to restore statues, defenders houses to rid the path of snakes or repair a beehive so the swarming bees will return to the hive. At least in the demo, you don't get the chance to construct new buildings, you just repair them, personally, I like the strategy of figuring out which building to construct strategically to achieve the goals, similar to Rescue Team TM games. I would recommend this game to those who haven't played a lot, if any, TM games, because this one is very easy to play. I would also recommend this game to those who want to play in an Easy mode, because unlike Bloom, this game has an Easy mode with no timer AND you still get to earn 3 stars, which is something I really don't understand, it kind of makes playing in a timed mode worthless? If you are a seasoned Time Management fan, I think you'll find this game to be a bit bland, with not a whole lot of challenge. Rated 2 out of 5 by from far too easy This game is no challenge at all. Very disappointing. The rest of the series are much more challenging and so much more fun to play. The goal called 'Light a signalfire' is probably a left-over from the older games in the series, but in this one you have to restore a watermill.... Maybe the developers have recycled the older games a bit too much. I do not recommend this game.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very Little Challenge Disappointed, but a cute game, no thought process needed, very simple, fast game to complete. Don't recommend it for real Time Management Lovers.
