Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of the Best Games I loved Jewel Match Twilight Solitaire, that came out around Halloween of 2017. I loved that game so much, I decided to go with this one, building castles. Im addicted to the Jewel Match Solitaires now. This is a gorgeous game. It seems so much time was put into making everything so nice, right down to the cursor. I beat the whole game in about a week. I paced myself, I didn't want to complete it too fast. The last level on this game was my total fav. Its a snowy level and man, would I love to live there. I love that you can set each castle you build to wallpaper, though I would like it if we could have them as screensavers too. I cant get enough of these Jewel Match Solitaires. More please!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another beautiful set of castles to build I'm a huge fan of the Jewel Match series (that builds castles). This game builds 5 gorgeous castles, probably the best of all the games in this series. It's one of the few games where I actually download the game's wallpapers. I do wish the devs provided a feature that rotates all 5 castles as a slide show of all castles built instead of one set wallpaper. The game has 200 levels to complete. The last 40 levels are harder to complete, esp if you want 3 stars, unless you buy power ups like increased chance to find Joker card, remove selected vs random cards, add 25 additional cards to deck, see hidden cards on the table. The goal is to find emeralds on each level, and the emeralds allow you to buy upgrades to building the castle. Bonus games consist of more solitaire card games, 12 total. I tried all of them, but only liked about 4 of them. The bonus games have a timer so you can beat your best time. There are Achievements to earn, but for bragging rights only--does not garner additional emeralds, coins, etc. This type of game you can play for days before completing all 200 levels, and indefinitely, if you never tire of solitaire card games. There are instructions for game rules for each of the bonus games, but the print strains the eye (ie small font). It would have been better if the instructions were INTERACTIVE like it is for the main game. I think the devs were lazy in this regard. I would have preferred different bonuses, such as hidden object scenes, mahjong, or jigsaw puzzles. I guess being a solitaire game, they focused exclusively on card games. However, I still love the game and the castles built. The castles ROCK!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these Jewel Match Solitaires Not a particularly challenging game but great if you just want some relaxation (but then always play casual for a new game). Of course the usual one up/one down solitaire with emeralds to find to build the castles, money accumulates quickly to buy power-ups and moves right along. For those playing this type of game for the first time you'll continue to play on the same castle even tho completed - it will then move to the next one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Agree! I very seldom write a review and there's not much I can add to what the others wrote. I bought the CE version which I very seldom do. I normally wait for the regular one.The graphics are beautiful and I love building the castles. I like that there is a relaxed mode. I hate timers. The bonus games are interesting and a change of pace. If you like card games you really need to at least try this one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I know, I know I must say that I find it to be enlightening. As my tittle says, and yet it's enjoyment for me so far. I agree with the Top Reviewer. I too bought the game with the special on who can loose. Go ahead and try. I'm loving the way the castles look. I bet the people who made this must have really enjoyed it. I know I would have loved to build the castles too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from YOU STILL GET SEVERAL FEATURES IN THIS VERSION! I purchased this game in the Collector's Edition version during a $6.99 CE sale, and I absolutely love it. Jewel Match Solitaire has a great play value, because as you play the main game of Higher/Lower Solitaire, you unlock 12 different Solitaire types of games, such as Aces Up, Eight Off, Four Colors, Freecell, Klondike, Martha, Osmosis, Pyramid, Royal Family, Scorpion, Solid Square and Spider Solitaire. You still earn Achievement Trophies with this version, and you still get to build the Castles. I'm not sure about the ability to set the Castles you build as Wallpapers, it has the icon for Wallpapers, but I didn't progress far enough in this demo to build the entire first castle. I'm assuming you can, otherwise it seems they would have removed the Wallpaper icon. You can play in a Relaxed mode which gives you more than one deal, Normal mode or Hard mode which is a Timed game. You can choose from 4 card designs, and 2 different Face card font styles. There are 24 Trophies to earn, and every level has Emeralds to earn that allow you to build the Castles, one section at a time. Depending on how many cards remain, you can earn up to 3 Stars per level, and you can replay any level at anytime. Approximately every fifth level unlocks a different Bonus Solitaire game type that can be played anytime, once unlocked. The level map shows you how many Stars you earned on each level as well as how many Emeralds are available, and how many you found. Some cards have Coins hidden under them which can be used in the Shop to purchase items that will help you on the more difficult levels. In the Shop you can purchase more Shuffle and Undo features, Number specific Wildcards and Jokers, or a feature that increases your chance of earning them in the levels themselves, there are power-ups that remove a Random Card, or a Specific Card, power-ups that give you a Deck Card Counter or turn over some Face Down cards. Naturally, there are some Obstacle Cards as you progress, requiring you to find Key Cards for Locked Cards, Sickles Cards to remove Bush Cards, Chained Cards require a Hammer Card (some cards have more than 1 chain and more than 1 hammer card) Scissor Cards to cut Ribbon Cards, (some cards have more than 1 ribbon and more than 1 scissor card) and my favorites, Wax Seals requiring color specific cards to be played, and sometimes Suit Specific cards, Frozen Cards require 2 plays, the first to break the ice, and the second play to remove it . The Collector's Edition version has 24 Trophies to earn, 10 Music Soundtracks, the Making Of, Bonus Trophies, Wallpapers, 4 extra Deck card styles, Bonus Levels, 3 Extra Castles to build, 120 Extra Bonus Levels, 6 Extra Bonus Solitaire types, Shop Extra Power-ups, and a built in Strategy Guide (huh??) In all honesty, because this Standard Edition version has many of the same features still available, it's a fantastic value for the price. I don't think you'll miss what's missing enough to make a difference for the price. Either version is a fantastic game for Solitaire lovers, enjoy!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Review of the SE where as all 3 of the current reviews are based on the fact that those people purchased the CE version, I chose to buy the SE version, this one. for one playing it am stuck as can't progress no further because have not enough emeralds to finish the current castles and it tells me to replay levels to earn emeralds. well it's not possible to do so there is no way. some one else posted in the forum they are stuck there too. that's the reason for suck a low rating because you can't replay previous levels.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from There is only one castle to build then no purpose to play on I am sincerely sorry to have wasted a PCC on the SE (Standard Edition) of this game. I finished building the castle at the end of level 38. (I played in Relaxed mode.) and discovered that there is no other castle to build and nothing to do with the jewels you would earn on subsequent levels. At that point, I find no reason (unless you simply want to occupy some time) to play on to higher levels.
