Grim Legends 3: The Dark City is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 14.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from An entertainment for sure Game was beautifully made, but could have used more pep, since graphics where better than most why not use them better. I would have liked to see better hidden objects or the map to go to paces and not have to go down arrow so much. the game was a little short for so much graphic. No hidden bonus find? Puzzles where blah!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Do not recommend I played the trial version of this game and thought, okay, I can play this. Wrong. I have not finished the game, yet, but I am ready to start over. The game is confusing, with a lot of back and forth play. The hint button will help, but you have to use it after almost every move. I do not understand why the casual or custom mode have to be so difficult when they are supposed to be easy to figure out.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from . I agree with CyndiLou..... tons of hand holding and no challenge whatsoever. When you are done with a scene you don't ever have to come back. Boring and mindless. sigh. 2017

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Is too much fantasy a bad thing? After reading all the rave reviews of the CE version, I decided to try this less costly version. Honestly, I just don't get how this game ranks so highly. I enjoy a good fantasy game but am honestly getting tired of them now. Here we have a young lady joining an esteemed group of monster hunters. Last week it was a young lady looking for ghosts with her drunken ghost helper. Next week it will be a fairy princess fighting ninjas with her talking frog. Grim Legends 3 is more ridiculous fantasy than anything. The story line is just too ludicrous for me. Graphics were dark and washed out, almost like watercolors running into each other. Puzzles were easy and game play included a lot of hand holding. I long for the days of true adventure hidden object games where you were required to think a bit and where the story lines involved real, or at least believable, people. Where graphics looked like you were playing within a movie, not a comic book. Games like Dire Grove, Syberia & Dracula's Origin come to mind; and I think I'll just go back and re-play those. I know I'm in the minority, but I hope that game developers start noticing that NOT ALL gamers are kids.
