Customer Reviews
Spring Mosaics is rated 2.8 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have no idea why this was put as an extra game instead of a tomorrow's game I agree with the first reviewer, except I would add that after you finish the puzzle it shows you a crisp sharp picture of what your puzzle created. And allows you to gaze at as long as you like. Which is something I have not seen on this type of puzzle. It is a bit harder if you like to do perfect puzzle like the others. The back ground is awesome, I wish it had things you could buy with coins making your own garden then it would have been a 10 star for me,but now it is 5 star. It is a buy for me. P.S. No story line but it does not need one which is why I gave it a 5 rating on storyline.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very simplistic, but it works Okay, so there's no story and no fancy graphics. But . . . ~ There are three colors to fill your mosaic with ~ The music is pleasant, adding just a bit of white noise ~ I liked that there were four modes of game play AND you could play timed or un-timed. ~ The game is forgiving; in other words, I played on casual and was able to use one hint, make one mistake and yet I was still able to get three stars for the level. ~ Finally, it automatically fills in the unused tiles once you have solved each row or column. Even some of the prettier and more advanced game do NOT do that for you. So, yes, it's a bare bones game but it's fun and relaxing.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pretty graphics As much as I like the colors in this game, and I really do, I have to say this game is not as challenging as others of its kind. Sometimes you just have to guess what the next step will be, and it's because there is no logical choice. I like the multiple colors to each level, and the pictures seem to make sense instead of just patterns. I like it but not as much as others.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Gets kind of boring plus you have to guess too much I love griddlers and this one is ok but after a while it gets kind of tedious. You don't get enough clues to really be able to reason it out. You HAVE to guess at a lot of things. If you make too many mistakes or take too many hints you lose the game. That part is fine except on many of the games starting around level 5 there is just not enough info to do it without using all the hints and mistakes. I consider myself expert at these games but this one is frustrating instead of fun. I'm on level 8 and I just needed to take a break from it. So as far as challenge goes it is challenging because it is hard but not in a fun way like a lot of the fantasy mosaics. I did buy it but I'm kind of sorry I did.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Borderline Boring Mosaic Spring Mosaics are brought to us by the same devs that offered Forest Mahjong. This Mosaic offers a customizable difficulty mode which allows you to adjust the number of mistakes allowed (1-5) Whether or not you want a timer option as well as Time Bonuses, and whether you want the numbers to be crossed off one by one or only when the entire row or column is completed. This is a wonderful aspect, and I liked the fact that you can switch between colors. I can't quite put my finger on what exactly it was that bored me with the mosaics themselves, perhaps it was the small grid columns and rows, perhaps the colors weren't appealing enough. All I know is that unlike the Penguins and the Rainbow themed Mosaics, I had no desire to purchase this game, but I do recommend it because of the unique features.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not logic-based. Whoever designed this game doesn't understand the theory of nonogrids. The whole point is that the player is supposed to be able to logically deduce which squares need to be filled in by examining the numbers given for the rows and columns, in conjunction with being able to make a reasonable assumption of what the overall pattern will look like. You can't make those deductions or assumptions in this game, as evidenced by the presence of hints and the limited number of mistakes before you "lose" the level. I've never seen nonogrids with either hints or counted errors. Usually, you just keep working at it until you figure it out.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from No logic to solving Not able to do puzzle without guessing or using hints, most games of this type have a logical way to solve them
Date published: 2017-04-25
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Too much guessing These types of games should be based on logic. This one requires using hints way too often to complete. That's a big, big no-no for me. In addition, twice I finished level 1-3 with no hints and no mistakes, but it doesn't show that it was done at all. In the first 5 or 6 puzzles, the grid is not broken down into groups of five squares which is common among mosaics. In subsequent grids they are? Sometimes the rows auto-complete, sometimes they don't. I only got through seven puzzles before getting fed up with these issues. This is one of the worst of the nanograms I have ever played.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from disappointing A lot of things wrong with this game. First of all, most griddlers make the line slightly darker after every five squares. This one does not. Second after the first two or three you have to use clues. No way to decide by logic. Third, numbers are only crossed off after you prove them not when you find them. I have always enjoyed mosaics, griddlers, nonograms whatever you want to call them that form actual pictures after solving but this one is a big miss.
