Angkor: Runefall is rated 2.5 out of 5 by 19.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not For Players With Poor Eyesight. Didn't work too well on my PC, but the main two problems for me were the tiny tiles that all looked the same (may be better for others who have good eyesight) and the lack of a relaxed playing mode which I hate in any game. Playing with limited moves or against a timer is not something I enjoy, I play these games for relaxation and never buy a game with no relaxed mode. To be fair, I think it could be a pleasant game if they increased the tile sizes and added a relaxed mode.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I wanted to like it This is a match three game that has a lot going for it. Nice graphics of buildings, good music, nice action on the board as you make matches. But the thing I just couldn't get past were the constant pop ups telling you about power ups during the levels. That should have bee done between levels. It annoyed me to the point of distraction. If you can get past that, you might enjoy the game. I just didn't.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Pass I turned the music off and the sound fx down half way and had no sound issues at all. The game has some potential but there are too many problems for me. The game tiles are on the smallish side and when there are bombs or other combos on the screen I had a hard time telling what color they should be matched with. The game is timed (no relaxed etc. options) and that's just not my cup of tea. The tutorials on the screen are super annoying and can't be turned off. Also, there is a pop-up message on the screen every time a powerup is charged. Performance on a board doesn't seem to have a lot to do with the number of stars earned. It's a pass this time.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from AN EASY AND VERY NOISY GAME Although Angkor: Runefall seemed to hold a lot of promise as a fun match 3 game, I found a lot of the sound effects to be unnecessary and rather annoying. I enjoy a match 3 game where I can use my earned resources to repair a building or a village in this case but there were several things about the game aside from the sound that I didn’t like. By now you get that the sound in the game is bothersome but other things I did not like were a tutorial that could not be turned off and then the box that hovered over power-ups telling you to use them each time a board began. There were no options aside from turning off the music or sound effects. It could be fun to rebuild Runefall but with nothing to do but play a small match 3 board within a designated number of moves, I quickly found the game to be boring. Even though this is not a game that I like, please try the demo to see for yourself if it might be one you will enjoy. Happy gaming!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not for me! Try this one before you buy! Slow game play with tiny gameboard and tiles! Personally I only purchase games with larger tiles and gameboards! Not for me, but try it, you may enjoy!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Too Noisy The first thing I do when playing any game is to turn off the music and sometimes the sound effects. I find them irritating and unnecessary. I turned off both music and sound effects, but was still forced to listen to music and bells. Thanks to this, I played less than one minutes of this game, and exited. I won't be buying this game, and if anyone else finds the sound effects and music as annoying as I do, they might want to give this game a miss too.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Meh There is no feeling of accomplishment with this game. It's a typical match-3 game and the lack of an ending is a letdown. You supposedly follow a path through the game, which consists of some static backdrops, and at the end are only told that you have completed it. Ho hum.
