The grand historical museum reception held by Deborah Whitwick became well known throughout the country. An inexplicable viral attack on the guests occurred right in the middle of the lady's solemn speech. When the epidemic began, no one had any idea just what the citizens of New York were facing. An urgent expedition was organized to re-explore the archipelago in the hope of finding information on the nature of the disease. As a linguist and expert on ancient languages, I was to join them. I couldn't even imagine how this journey would turn out for me...

The Legacy: The Tree of Might is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Great Game Even though this is just a standard version game, it lasts a long time, with lots of levels and puzzles to play. I enjoyed all of the scenes and enjoyed the characters I met. This game is a winner.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What an Incrediable Game!! I haven't written a review in awhile, as there hasn't been any games out lately that have really proved to be worthy of one. I am almost finished this game, and have enjoyed it so much. There isn't one thing that I can say negative about this game. The story, the graphics and voice overs are just great. And the music is so beautiful. The best part are the puzzles. They are all my favorites in one game. Not too challenging or confusing that they become frustrating, but just the right amount of difficulty and a whole lot of fun. This is by far my most favorite game of the year.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My kind of game! As always, I won't review the storyline as that isn't a make or break for me. Suffice it to say that it's good. :-) The number of characters is perfect. A lot of times, these games add character after character and does more to confuse than to add to the story. This isn't one of them. The puzzles are really great. This is why I play these games. If they are too easy, it's boring. If they're too hard, it's no fun either. These are just right. Some are a a tad difficult but doable. No cheats or skips are needed. The HOPs are not just the hunt and peck but are varied with finding objects, putting objects in their place, and then solving puzzles with the found objects. The map is very useful as there are a lot of regions that get opened up. You should give this one a try! Happy playing!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from All Around Great Game Although the game starts a bit slow, stay with it because this turns into a great adventure with one plot twist after another. I didn't want the game to end. It's such well-told story, great arc to the storyline. Well done, 5-BN, always a favorite developer. The HOPS are among the best I have seen, integrated with the plot, and challenging, sometimes a subplot all their own. The same goes for the puzzles, just enough challenge not to distract from the storyline. Again, so well executed. I always play in casual mode, taking my time to enjoy the game and explore the plot. All my reviews are based upon completed play of the entire game.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is the best game in a long time. I'm not going to go into a ton of detail, other reviewers do that much better. I will say though, that I am loving this game. I played the demo, and it was a buy for me. The story is unique, and I'm finding I want to know what happens next. The game play is just the right level of challenge for me. There are challenges at every turn, so, I wouldn't say it was a typical HO game, but, more of an adventure. It's a recommended game! I like the graphics, and the music too, everything just clicks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from DASH THROUGH A FEW PORTALS INTO SOME EXCELLENT FUN IN TREE OF MIGHT You play The Legacy: The Tree of Might as Diana our portal traveling heroine. What an adventure lies ahead for Diana as she travels through the portals to different worlds in search of a cure for an epidemic that has been unleashed on earth. Will you be able to save the day in this absolutely fabulous game? When I started the game I was a bit put off as the action seems to be a bit slow. As I dragged through the demo trying to find bits and pieces I thought the game was a bit of a yawn-fest but then something changed and I found myself so involved in the game that the time flew by. I have always loved games from Five-BN Games because they offer so much to do and have excellent storylines. When I see their name on a game I know it will be one that I add to my gaming library – usually before I even play the demo. The Legacy: The Tree of Might is one of those games that is destined to become a favorite as it has a surprise storyline. One of the very first games from this developer started my love affair with their games and I have never yet been disappointed. The HOPS are so creative and offer the silhouette interactive style scenes that are signature with 5-BN Games. Silhouette scenes are not my favorite but this developer does them so well that I find them enjoyable. If you enjoy puzzles then you will most certainly enjoy this game since there are a lot of them and most are more challenging than the easy-peasy ones we find in most HOPA games. One of the very first puzzles in the game had me scratching my head as I tried to figure out what moves I needed to make to get through a maze. That one was a lot of fun! Trust me; this game is so different than what you see in the early scenes. It changes into one of the best games I’ve played in ages. Not only is the game excellent, it is one that if full of twists and turns. Diana is in for the adventure of a lifetime in The Tree of Might. Okay, even though I am gushing about this game and love it, please try the demo to see if it is one that might be a keeper for you as well. Happy gaming!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Puzzles Here, Puzzles There, Puzzles Everywhere!! The Legacy series is excellent. The games overflow with quality puzzles and HOPs and plenty of tasks in between. The Tree of Life seemed to get off to a boring start after the helicopter crash, but that changed into an adventure of mystery and beauty. And I was surprised by the source of danger and deceit that suddenly overtook Diana after passing through the gate. I don't really like to tell all, as it spoils the fun of discovery. But I will say this - for me, it was a smart purchase, a great game, loaded with things to keep me busy and lots of beauty to take in. I've never been disappointed by this developer, always delivers quality entertainment, Searching for a cure for the mysterious virus takes Diana on an amazing journey, It is full of beautiful scenery and interesting characters and some new friends to help her in her quest. The graphics were very good and so full of color. However, the characters were not realistic enough for my taste and their "void" facial expressions didn't match the emotion in the voices. But the voices were quite good and very clear, I actually bought the CE version because I was enticed by all the extra goodies. But the SE will be a ton of fun, as well, with all the wonderful puzzles and HOPs. With the various game modes offered, anyone can enjoy this game. Plus a welcome break from all the dark games with deranged characters and monsters wanting to steal your soul. Try the demo, see what you think about travelling into unusual places for a cure to a nasty virus. God Bless....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well made 3rd episode A 3rd rather long adventure in this series to be savored, more substantial than The Prisoner, but easier than Forgotten Gates. Videos , animations , graphisms and sounds are of high quality. We explore several other worlds (one is Egypt inspired , in one there are Hindu elements , and at the end there are also Walkyries references), but it does not feel we are playing a sci-fi game. The gameplay is never vague nor confusing. Likely you won't use often the well made map. Like in other games by Five-BN , you can expect Objects Scenes which are nothing but a series of well made interactions but they are few ; instead we have also some where we put objects back into their proper place, one is about finding pairs , also a few classical scenes with some interactions and incorporated mini-game I also enjoyed this sequence where we find all the similarities between 2 paintings. As for the mini-games, they are generally of the rather easy kind, pleasant to solve even if some of them are well known. A lot of maturity and serenity emanate from all of this. This standard version is of course recommanded but not more than the Collector, which has good extras and a bonus level of 1 hour in which we play as the young man just between his two first meetings with Diana and the pilot , and why he seemed to have changed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from THIS IS A 5-STAR GAME BUT DEFINITELY WORTH UPGRADING TO THE CE VERSION Five-BN has never disappointed me with any of their games, the only reason I gave this game 4 stars instead of 5 is that the Collector's Edition version has so many Morphs and Collectibles and extra content, that it pales in comparison to this Standard Edition version. The CE Bonus Chapter is just icing on the cake, with 9 Mini-Games, 3 Hidden Object Scenes, and 12 more Collectibles. This is a must-have game in either version, but I highly recommend the CE version. Here's a recap of my review to help you decide which version, if either is right for you: A deadly virus has gone air-borne during a reception hosted by Deborah Whitwick at the Historical Museum. The Museum's prized Ancient Artifact contained more than just centuries of dust and history, it contained a swarm of deadly Mosquitoes! Diana has been selected to return to the Artifacts origins to gather vital information that could help them discover an antidote, problem is, everyone's searching the wrong place! Could this be the end of civilization? Game Series such as The Legacy is why this is my number one favorite developer. When I first started playing HOPA's, I didn't really pay much attention to the plot, but then again, back in the day, these games didn't really have much of a storyline. Nowadays, for me personally, it's all about the story because the games themselves have become so easy, so predictable, that you know when you pick up an item EXACTLY where it's going to be used and why. That's why Five-BN Games is my favorite developer. Five-BN games are different. They aren't predictable, it's not all about back and forthing, finding this emblem to open that box, only to receive another emblem. They aren't stories about ancient evil Mist Monsters, they are usually apocalyptic themed games that are totally credible! They are very good about making a connection with the characters, and the characters are likable, the characters are believable. Most of all, they are really good at drawing you into their storylines hook line and sinker, and they usually have a cliffhanger ending! Nobody has Hidden Objects Scenes as creative and fun as Five-BN Games! Most of them are Progressive, Interactive Silhouetted Shape finds where you are tasked with finding the objects that match the Silhouetted Shapes and then using those items back in the scene which will expose the next object and so forth. All of their HOP's have at least one Mini-Game to solve if not more which is what makes them so fun. There are also Interactive List finds, and they too are highly Interactive. The only disappointment I have is not being able to re-play them, but then again, it would be super easy the second time around. The Mini-Games are exactly the kind I love where you have to put some thought into solving them. Some of them can be a little frustrating because just when you think you have it figured out, you realize you need to reset the game and start over, but they are really good games. Even the Hidden Object Scenes have at least one Mini-Game to solve, and extra Mini-Games and Puzzles are unlocked when you complete the Collections, Manuscripts and Morphing Collections, a unique feature only offered by Five-BN! Below are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during the demo: 1-Swap figurines to adjoin their hands. 2-Enter the sequence of turns to guide the bird to the end in a rotating maze. 3-Click the pair of symbols to recreate the center symbols. 4-Click the crystals to light them up, clicking 1 may affect others. 5-Slide square tiles to complete the image. 6-Repeat the sequence of images to activate & deactivate them. 7-Move tiles into matching slots, all tiles move in the same direction in unison. 8-Slide tiles along the path to their matching slots. 9-Rotate crystals to direct the beam of light through all crystals. The Collector's Edition version has 8 Wallpapers, 15 Concept Art pictures, 8 Music Cutscenes, 25 re-playable Mini-Games, 22 Achievements to earn, 7 Bonus Puzzles (when you complete the Figurine & Manuscripts Collections) Collectible Figurines (12 Wooden Hares, 8 Porcelain Elephants, 7 Metallic Butterflies, 8 Golden Snakes, 7 Wooden Horses) 11 Manuscript Pages (receive a new Bonus Puzzle in Extras) 30 Morphing Objects (receive a new Mini-Game in Extras) 5 Main Chapters +Bonus Chapter and a built-in Strategy Guide. Enjoy the adventure and don't forget to use insect repellant! THE LEGACY SERIES LIST Title***Standard Edition Release Date***Average Rating 1-Forgotten Gates (April 9-2017) 4.5 2-Prisoner (January 3-2018) 4.1 3-The Tree of Might (November 18-2018) n/a
