Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent game!! I have to admit I initially thought these games were too simple. And they are simple. The first pictures had large squares and I finished them too quickly. I love the mosaic games, where you fill in the squares in a grid based on the numbers on the side and at the top of the grid. This game is based on squares, so I was prepared for a new challenge. Each scene is a picture of pixels. Every pixel has a color assigned to it, and the goal is to create the colored scene. It's like the popular adult coloring books, with the game creators choosing the colors. You can use the mouse to enlarge the picture, which is really a benefit on the larger pictures with many colors in the same small space. I also figured out that I can move to other parts of an enlarged scene by pressing down on the right and left click buttons at the same time. What a relief! My eyes were getting tired. The pictures with large squares are easy but wait until you try to fill in the squares with the assigned color in a complex scene! It is very soothing. I read that penmom wants all the PIXEL ART games released quickly. Please,no! I'll never get any sleep. When I am working on these scenes, it seems like time just floats by. I look up and it's 3 AM. If all the games were released, I couldn't keep myself away from them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Enjoyable. When I get stress out, I turn to this game. The pictures are wonderful I'm wondering when the holidays are coming like Halloween and Christmas are they going to do something.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from More More More! I love Pixel Art! It's such a relaxing way to spend time. I'm so happy to see that Big Fish has released Pixel Art 4 so soon after releasing Pixel Art 3. There are six more Pixel Art games by T1 Games, all the way up to Pixel Art 10, so please keep releasing them Big Fish!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Great Way To Start My Day! Pixel 4 was just what the doctor ordered to take away the gloomies today. This is my sunshine while it is raining and dark this morning. Thank you Big Fish! This game is coloring fun in very simple form. It is a nice change from all the intricate coloring I enjoy for hours every day in my coloring books. Sometimes I just need that deeper level of relaxation in my hobbies and my PC games. The pictures are amazing and become more intricate as you progress through the levels. The colors don't seriously come to life until your masterpiece is finished. It is so much fun to see the completed picture. There is no particular order to anything: start anywhere on your pic, choose whichever color pleases you, jump around with your colors, fill in the pixels one at a time or you can fill in larger areas of all one color by double clicking. If you make a mistake, no need to fret. The wrong color is kind of see-through and isn't permanent. Just go back over it with the intended color. The features available in Pixel 4 make the game so enjoyable! Everything runs smoothly, no problems with anything to interrupt the fun and relaxation. I love that!! Also, love being able to super enlarge the picture, if need be, and moving to wherever you want to color are a big plus in my book. I think the children will have fun with this, too. And gamers with not-so-good vision (like me) will be able to enjoy Pixel 4 without a magnifying glass. If you think it all sounds kind of boring, just give it a whirl. You may be pleasantly surprised at how much fun "simple" can be. It is so nice to escape from the games that contain so much doom and gloom. For me, it is very cheery in Pixel Land. I bought without trying the demo and was not disappointed one little bit. God Bless....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from CHOO-CHOO...NOW BOARDING~DESTINATION PIXEL ART ZEN-ZONE The Pixel Art pictures keep getting better and better with each new release. I visited T1 Games facebook page the other day, and if you think these pictures are amazing, wait till you see the pictures available for Pixel Art 9! Yes, BF is a little behind schedule because Pixel Art 4 left the station a while back along with Zen Trains numbers 5, 6, 7, and 8, so please Felix, keep 'em coming! I didn't board the Pixel Art Zen Train at first because I had only played the demo portion and the numbers were very large, and the pictures seemed rather juvenile. I used a PCC that was about to expire to purchase the original Pixel Art game and I got hooked almost immediately as the puzzles got more intense. When I say intense, I just mean more intricate, because the puzzles don't actually require a lot of thought, but that's the beauty of it...it's totally Zen! I love the music selections, but I really love the different sounds of nature, with frogs and crickets chirping or the sounds of waves as they ebb and flow. There's not a whole lot to have to figure out, it's about as uncomplicated and basic as it gets. Pixel Art is a computer version of Paint by Numbers. Each pixel has a number and you chose the corresponding color bubble (also numbered) on the right and simply left click to fill in all the numbers with the correct color, you can hold the mouse button and swipe through large groupings as well. There is a Slider Bar that allows you to zoom in & out (there's a "fit" tab as well) you can also move the entire page around by right-clicking and dragging. There is an auto-fill feature that will fill in large groups of pixels in a particular color by double-clicking, but that feature has to recharge after each use, besides, it's more satisfying to color them yourself. The last feature is a slider bar that allows you to change the color of the background, it really only allows you to change the colors in shades of grey or black. It would make more sense to have an entire color scale available on a paint by numbers game, wouldn't it? Keep an open mind, it seems basic and rudimentary at first but you may just find yourself boarding the Pixel Art Zen train too, I'll save you a seat! Rated 5 out of 5 by from Add scoring and it will be perfect. I love these paint by number games. The hardest levels are the most fun but it's nice to have some easy ones mixed in. Being naturally competitive I would love to have some kind of scoring included as I try to go for perfect performance. Throw that in and it's even more fun. And I don't have to keep track myself. Thanks!
