Rated 5 out of 5 by from An excellent New Delicious ? Review based on the full game. A new chapter as good as the previous ones. Quality graphics, good music, bonus challenges and an interesting story. Patrick wonders about his career and Emily succeeds everything she undertakes. The family decides to go on an adventure for the summer holidays. We re-discover old characters with pleasure and new faces join the family. The story is captivating and makes us want to know more. Standard levels are easy but bonus levels have an excellent challenge. As always you can buy improvements, collects some holiday pictures, win some trophies, build a campground and get an unlocked bonus level per day. For the fans the Collector is worth it. An excellent high quality game that I loved from the start to the end. Happy Gaming ?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Real Emily! For those of us who have missed Emily as she used to be, with all of the old characters, gameplay hard on expert (as it should be), graphics as they were so Emily looks like herself again, and all of the simple charm of these games, it's all back. I am super super SUPER happy :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great addition I really enjoyed this game more than the last one. The mice were not hard to find. The mini games weren't impossible. i gave it a 4 because there were some errors that I feel the developers could have caught and corrected (so how does a cow eat "wealth" exactly? Wasn't Larry named Elvis before?). Otherwise I feel this was an excellent addition.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not the same. The Delicious Series I really love but for couple of things. If you are a Delicious fan you would know what I'm talking about. From the beginning, there were challenges and I mean challenges. Like Emily washing the window besides waiting on the customers. Patrick picking flowers or someone spilled things on the floor and you had to find the items to pick it up. Now, you just click your mouse to fill in the circle. A very turn off if I had say. My biggest favorite is the wedding. I wasn't sure if Patrick was every make it to his own wedding and his mother well. Those I miss. Also, in the past, I had a hard time finding the mouse. Now, no problem. To the designers. Why oh why, do you have to put stupid things like filling in the circle or move your mouse and down. Where's the story line where's the challenge. As for me, I'll wait until buy one get one free. I still like it but not in the mood of paying a game that has you fill in the circle.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fewer Minigames.. But Is It Easier? I'm about a third of the way through the game, and so far, I'm liking it. The biggest complaint I've heard about the recent Delicious family of games is that they have too many minigames. This game has scaled way back on those. Only one action per level will trigger a (pretty simple) minigame. They have, however, increased the number of objects that require multiple actions to collect. The Betty's Diner stage has only 4 items that can simply be picked up; all the rest require multiple clicks or a wait time. In my opinion, that actually makes the game harder, though it doesn't interrupt your rhythm as much as minigames do. And there is some strategy needed, at least on some levels. I just played a level where the Extra Task was to get 8 Quick bonuses. But on this stage, the most popular items require cook time. It wasn't until I figured out that I needed to pre-cook and carry around a few things that I was able to achieve that. Carl the Mouse has gotten very easy to find, though. He's always right out in the open, usually someplace you need to be looking anyway. Very different from some of the earlier games where you might see one ear behind a window in the corner of the screen. Visually and mechanically, this games is very similar to recent games, despite having a new developer. It also suffers the audio problem that I've had with almost all of the Delicious Family games where if I'm playing for more than a few levels, the sound gets very staticy. Restarting the game is the only way to fix it. Story-wise, it seems a little aimless at the moment (Patrick has a mid-life crises while the family goes on vacation), but I've still got 3 1/2 stages to go, so I'm reserving final judgement. Overall, I think longtime fans will like this game a bit more than recent entries in the series. I'm personally looking forward to finishing it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Getting Better Based solely on the Demo . . . Multiple levels of "challenge", like it used to be (easy, moderate, hard) Believe you can play more than one "character", so you can replay without having to delete your previous game. No freezing or crashing - at least through the demo - fingers crossed this continues Some items are smaller than they used to be and harder to distinguish for tired 'ol eyes. Mini games were reduced to an acceptable level. They aren't "overkill", so they don't interrupt game play much and they don't click your hands to death Still have the nonsense with sending photos to friends - but some folks like that. Game play is smooth and there are new interesting products. Game is suited for novice TM'ers. Could have a bit more challenge, but I didn't play on the hardest level. Overall, it seems like we are getting back on track. Also included familiar friends from Snuggford in the game. It is a "buy" for me

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great game, except for the annoying mini-games I love this game, played it all the way through. I would have given it 5 stars, but the annoying mini-games were just too annoying.
