Spirit Legends: The Aeon Heart Collector's Edition is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 17.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Spirit Legends:The Aeon Heart CE ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS! The story is incredible. Everything about this game is superb. The colors are vibrant and rich. The puzzles are easy to challenging. (I skipped some of the puzzles because I wanted to get through the story.) I will play the game again, but more leisurely so that I can play all of the puzzles. (NOTE:-Expect a character surprise.) GREAT GAME!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What a good game !! I bought all the new hidden games and adventures games that came out since one year (Covid crisis of course ...) many of them came from the publisher Domini Game, which had led me to some weariness and to download not this game bought directly as usual, but the trial version. I bought the full version after 20 minutes of playing !!! It's the best game I have made from Domini Game since May 2020 and it is in the top ten games I have made on the same period. In addition, unlike other games from other publishers, it offer a very satisfactory length. I highly recommend this beautiful game.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loved it. I highly recommend this game. It has beautiful graphics and fun game play. I also enjoyed the return of Astis this time as king instead of prince. The puzzles were fun as well as the HOP's

Rated 5 out of 5 by from DOMINI’S GAMING SPIRIT PRODUCES ANOTHER GREAT GAME! REVIEW BASED UPON THE ENTIRE GAME 4 Chapters Plus a Bonus Chapter – Strategy Guide: 47 pages STORY: Journey to an enchanted kingdom where forest spirits provide harmony and balance to nature. Your uncle, a physician and renown inventor of prosthetics, wishes to check your artificial heart. However, while visiting your uncle, you learn that someone is killing these spirits, sapping them of their energy, but, for what purpose? The Guardians of Harmony have been blamed by the king for the murders since they have the knowledge of how to transform animals into monsters. However, while investigating, you discover this may not be the case. Be prepared for surprises as to the villain and the surprising motive behind the killings. OPINION: Be prepared for a long journey, romping through the kingdom in search of the evildoer behind these murders. This is a long game. Domini always provides more game for the money and this one is no exception. I enjoyed playing the game; however, to me, it does not merit an editor’s choice award. I can think of other games from this developer which are better than this one. Nevertheless, I enjoyed playing this game and found it kept my interest. Grab your sneakers as you will be traveling to-and-fro searching for inventory items. There are not as many activities as in other games from this developer. The collectibles are morphing inventions, spirited potions, and coins with which to purchase items for a laboratory. I found most easy to locate. The game has a good pace and I feel the story behind the game is decent. This is a puzzle-intense game! There are almost twice the number of puzzles in comparison to the HOP scenes. As in their other games, most of the puzzles have the option to be played in either an “easy” mode for a more casual play, or in a “hard” mode for a little more challenge for those who wish it. This can be set within the menu but can be changed while playing the puzzle. I discovered one error while playing this game. When I play a game, I double-check to see if I have missed any of the collectibles. While checking the strategy guide for this game, I discovered the four (4) screenshots labeled “F” are missing and the lettering is not sequential. However, other than this minor error, I found no other errors in this game. MECHANICS: • Four (4) levels of play including a customized version. • 32 achievements. • Collect 15 morphing inventions and 15 spirited potions. • Collect 70 coins to purchase items for a laboratory. • Bestiary Book of spells to transform cursed monstrous animals back into their normal state. • 15 Wallpapers along with concept art, music, and video sequences. • Replay 18 HOP scenes and 20 mini-games. BONUS CHAPTER: Play Phyllis, a Harmony Guardian from the main chapter. The kingdom is in chaos and the king has sent the captain of his guards to summon you to investigate. Nature is changing with plants mutating and changing color. When a hooded, unknown assailant tries to thwart your investigation with a bomb, you are off on an adventure to discover his identity and the reason for his desire to disrupt nature. It is a long chapter with five (5) HOP scenes and six (6) mini-games. I feel it is worthy of a collector’s edition designation. Continue to collect the collectibles throughout this chapter. To me, it is consistent in quality with the main game. HOP SCENES: There are eighteen (18) HOP scenes, all of which can be replayed upon completion of the game. As in their other games, there is an optional Match-3 game which can be played instead of the scenes. Although Domini is best known for their puzzles, their HOP scenes are creatively designed. One of the elements I enjoyed while playing this game were the multiple scenes within many of the HOP scenes in which to locate items. There are the standard lists of items, silhouette, and storybook scenes. There is one slider scene with a slight variation in which the silhouette must be aligned with a silhouette within the scene to view the item before removing it. I loved the cryptic clues – searching for two items which are related in some way to the item to be removed. MINI-GAMES: There are twenty-seven (27) mini-games, twenty (20) of which can be replayed upon completion of the game. For once, Domini has provided more puzzles to replay than HOP scenes. As stated, most of these can be played in either an easy or hard version of the puzzle. There is a “Bestiary Puzzle” which is played when a monster must be vanquished and returned its normal animal state. There are four (4) of these within the game. However, after the demo, there is only one. SPOILERS: HERE ARE SOME OF THE MINI-GAMES AFTER THE DEMO: (E = Easy; H = Hard) A. E/H, Assembly puzzle. Rotate a center gear and attach other gears based on the shape of the opening which matches up with each gear. The hard version has more gears to attach. B. E/H. Block puzzle. Create a path to move a crown to its slot at the other end by rotating and moving sliders along the way. Select buttons to move sliders to create a path for the crown to move. The hard version has a longer path and more sliders to rotate to clear a path. C. E/H. Mathematical puzzle. On a grid, slide 6 lines of musical notes so that the number of notes in each column matches the number listed at the bottom of the column. The easy version has 3 columns; the hard version has 6. D. Strategy puzzle. Choose the correct stone or branch to climb up a cliff. Start over if you make a mistake. E. E/H. Sequence puzzle. Place 6 boat tokens with directional numbers written on them in sequence to plot a course for a ship to move across a body of water without any moves remaining. The harder version has a harder route to plot. F. Tracing puzzle. Trace an image to unlock handcuffs. BONUS CHAPTER: G. E/H. Switch puzzle. Switch 4 tokens surrounding 4 circles so that each token matches the one in the center of the circle it surrounds. The hard version has less paths to move and switch tokens. H. E/H Sequence puzzle. Cut vines in sequence to free a bridge. The hard version has more vines to cut. I. E/H. Moving tiles puzzle. Move 3 flower petals on a circular grid avoiding obstacles in their path as they move to 3 empty slots. Arrows move at the same time the petals. If an arrow collides with a petal, you must restart. The harder version requires that the colored petals move to a same-colored slot.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Be careful who you get your artificial heart from Funny this game was released bc I had just played the entire series. I will say the earlier games were much more challenging and interesting and made you think a little bit. This one is Domini's new no brainer type of game. Nothing wrong with that at all. I need one of these every now and then. The HOS were fun. I didn't care for the puzzles, but I never do. These just seemed to be lacking instructions for us non-puzzlers. The story line was good, sort of fantasy and reality blended. Lots of the usual collectibles and a pretty long game. Not as long as Domini usually puts out but took me some time to finish. The bonus chapter was short. I hope they continue this series as I really enjoy it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from fun game Enjoying the game. I am finding the puzzles a little easy so far which for me is a bonus. Not a real puzzle lover. My only pet peeve with these games lately is, who in the world uses silverware to remove nails. Seems lately we are removing nails with a fork or better yet, a hair comb, really!! Come on developers, could we please be a little more realistic.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from No Added Bonus Domini is still not offering Match-3 puzzles in the bonus content so be advised to play all the Match-3 puzzles first throughout the game and then you'll have an added adventure of hidden object puzzles to play in the bonus content. I, for one, will not play a Domini game more than once.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from IF YOU LIKE REPETITIVE & OBVIOUS TASKS, LOOK NO FURTHER Completed Game approximately 4.0 Hours (including completion of all puzzles & CE Bonus Chapter) 24 Main Game Scene Locations +7 CE Bonus Chapter Difficulty Range: Beginner At this point, I feel like I'm just playing Domini games out of desperation because Big Fish rarely offers HOPA games nowadays. There are a ton of new, or new to the genre developers that would give anything to get their foot in the door (or is it "throw a fin" in the pond?) to create amazing HOPAs, they just lack funding. So why not take a chance with them? It would be a win-win situation, new competition would certainly spur the Domini-ant developers to be more creative plus we'd get fresh blood games with creative concepts! How many times must we endure the same game? Yes, it's the same game because the tasks are always the same from game to game. I know I'll need to scoop out an object from the bottom of every fountain, I know every pile of leaves needs to be removed with some sort of tool, I know there will be a big ole pile of recently disturbed soil that someone thought would go unnoticed, I know I'll need to use a "heavy object" to pound nails with...and it will probably involve placing boards on a broken bridge or rungs of a ladder and probably both! I know the second I see a bookshelf that I'm gonna need to find 2 books to open a secret cache...not 1 book, not 3! I know there will be some sort of mysterious green ooze encasing a much-needed emblem, an object just out of reach that requires some type of MacGyver rig, some sort of purple fog to disperse, gauntlets or gloves required to move thorny branches, and I'll probably have to sew them first. I know that some statue or mannequin with be holding on to an object for dear life until I replace his limbs or adorned jewelry as if it had a soul. It's not about knowing what I need for all these tasks, it's the fact that no one bothers to think outside the box. I know every single person reading this knows exactly what I'm talking about...but did you know that every single task I just mentioned was a task from Chapter One in this game? Gadgets/Helper: This game is centered around the Guardians of Harmony and a Beastiary Book to banish the beasts that are conveniently conjured by the Spirits of nature...and always at key moments that prevent you from ending the game quickly and calling it a day tee-hee. The Beastiary Book is used 6 times during the main chapters only; to destroy freaks of nature such as a FireFox or a Gargoyle Batman. Before the book can un-conjure the conjuring, you'll have to complete a mini-game that varies with each beast. I actually enjoyed most of the associated puzzles! Audio/Video Quality: Domini usually does well in this department, especially after ditching the over-abundance of Purple, and Green hues. Once again, the scenes themselves are fairly uninteresting which is incredible given the fact that the plot's theme was a perfect opportunity to wow us with incredible scenery and exotic flora and fauna! Collectibles & Morphing Objects (CE Version Only): The collectibles are always the same in Domini games, they just have different names and they are never interesting! There are 15 Morphing Jodac's Inventions, 15 Spirited Potions, a gazillion Missing Notes, 70 Zoom Zone Coins of varying amounts that are used to purchase 15 Laboratory Items. Why not give us options on each decoration, such as different styles or color choices, or where to place them in the room? At least make the decorations more interesting, who cares about a pile of herbs sitting on a table or red drapes that remind everyone of a funeral home? I guess that would require some effort on the developer's part, so new options are unlikely! Hidden Object Scenes: There are 13 Hidden Object Scenes +5 in the CE Bonus Chapter and an alternate Match 3 Game available. This is a terrible Match 3 game that doesn't allow you to make consecutive matches quickly because you have to wait for all tiles to stop falling before you can make the next match which kind of defeats the purpose of a Match 3 game?? The Hidden Object Scenes vary in style, such as Interactive List Finds, Silhouetted Shape in multiples X3, Matching Pairs, Keywords in Sentence Finds, and a Slider variation where you align Silhouettes with Clues. If only Domini would add a skip button feature to their boring HO scenes! Mini-Games: There are 21 Mini-Games +6 in the CE Bonus Chapter, 6 of which are associated with The Beastiary Gadget. You can choose to play them in an Easy or Hard difficulty mode and you can choose which mode to have them start out in the Custom Setting (you can still switch between modes for each individual game) The puzzles weren't bad, and some of them were variations of older puzzles and they were enjoyable to play because they seemed new. The mini-games were the only feature that made this game bearable to endure, I actually enjoyed some of the Beastiary associated puzzles such as fragging chains of colored orbs to their matching slots, move a glowing orb to its destination by moving it to empty slots & clicking a button to reveal alternate slots, connect all bats with a continuous line (horizontal & vertical lines only) or capturing your opponent's tokens by touching or jumping them. Bonus Chapter (CE Version Only) Phyllis has been summoned by King Astis to restore the balance of nature after the kingdom's flora begins to mutate out of control. Naturally, a hooded figure is always one step ahead of you, thwarting your every move! This is a typical above-average-length chapter spanning over 7 scene locations, where you will probably get a case of Deja vu. The tasks are nearly identical to those within the first chapter...find and place a saddle & reins on a horse-find a tool to remove crystals-find & use a fishing rod-use a heavy object to hammer nails...seriously? There are 6 additional Mini-Games and 5 Hidden Object Scenes, and you will continue your search for the final 4 Morphing Jadoc's Inventions, 4 Spirited Potions, and 7 Zoom Zone Coins of varying amounts that are used to purchase the final uninteresting Laboratory Decorations. Collector's Edition Extra's: (CE version only) 15 Wallpapers, 16 Concept Art Pictures, 5 Music Soundtracks, 26 Movie Video Cutscenes, 33 Achievements (the same achievements offered in all of their games) 20 Replayable Mini-Games, 18 Replayable Hidden Object Scenes, 15 Morphing Jodac's Inventions, 15 Spirited Potions, a gazillion Missing Notes, 70 Zoom Zone Coins of varying amounts to purchase 15 Laboratory Items, 4 Main Chapters, a Bonus Chapter, and a Built-In Strategy Guide.
