Rated 4 out of 5 by from And now for some peace and quiet... This is a very relaxing game..so far. You collect stamps that you put back together and get stars for Easy (1 star), Normal (2 stars) and Hard (3 stars). Each stamp has different modes (2 or 3) that are preset which you can not change (# of pieces, rotated, moving, falling pieces etc.). And the modes change each time you play that stamp puzzle. There are a total of 81 stamps to collect across nine countries/continents. I found the normal setting to be a good challenge (especially when starting out) and then switched to hard and had to restart a couple of times as I ran out of time. The facts were already repeating in the first country (Italy) but are easy to skip. I expect the challenge to increase with more pieces, tougher time limits and harder designs (be sure to look at the design before starting each puzzle as you have to complete it without a visible sample). This game might be a little too quiet for some but if you like jigsaws, this could be a game for you. As always, try it for yourself.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I don't mind this game This is based on the demo. # The technical side I won't talk about stability because it's a game built with the Unity engine, which runs well on a variety of operating systems and computer configurations. # Fun factor I do like stamp collecting: I used to do it as a kid. I also like puzzles. This game supposedly does both but I think it could use a bit more though it's hard to qualify what that 'more' is. It's like a good start, but we're not *there* quite yet. It does neither the puzzles nor the stamp collecting super well, however what it does is quite okay. The stamps are not real ones, which reduces some of the excitement for me. It would have been way cooler to see actual stamps from the countries we're going around visiting. The stamp collection, selling and so on is not fleshed out. Between stamp puzzles you do get a bit of interesting information about the history of stamps and stamp collecting. It has a weird combination of relaxing and non-relaxing elements. There appears to be no way to remove the timer so if people are absolutely opposed to timers, this game is not for them even though you can buy extra time. Not all puzzles are timed. # Level of Challenge There are different modes such as timed/limited moves/rotating pieces and the like. I think the challenge level is okay but if you want a game where you will spend hours on a puzzle, this is not it. I'm guessing that this game might take about 6 hours to play on 'Normal' and there could be some replay value if you want to try multiple challenge levels. # Visual and Sound Quality The music is very chilled out, the visuals are beautiful, the controls are great. I wish some of the other puzzle games had such smooth controls One thing I really, really liked is that there is support in other languages and it looks like they did a good job with that at least in French. # Verdict This is a luke-warm recommend for me. I think it's an okay purchase on sale. It does not have a carrot-on-stick feel to it but on the other hand I could see myself firing this game up and playing it for an hour or so to wind down after work. There are better puzzle games out there however I would like to encourage this dev and this genre.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from HAD TO TRY IT, BUT MEH... MIGHT BE GREAT FOR SOME I was sort of confused when I started the demo, even though I tried to keep my graphic expectations at bay. I truly enjoy reading the history of just about anything, and the history of stamps is actually steeped in politics, revolution, peace and upheavals, discovery and adventure. But we do not get to experience any of that in this game. I'm not a fan of 1950's art deco abstracts, and that's all that's represented in the demo. With the understanding that every stamp in the world is proprietary, I still expected to see at least a similar representation of each little historical lesson about a particular stamp or era - not hard to do in this day of graphic supply websites plus cut and paste. Really disappointed. See beckins and somegeek for the best detailed reviews.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from So much potential I played the whole demo hoping it would get better, but no. The stamps you put together are totally boring. With all the gorgeous stamps in the world you'd think they would have used some of those but they are all very similar simplistic drawings, mostly geometric, and all the same few colors. The game is timed. That's fine except it is also glitchy so when you have to click to turn a piece around to fit sometimes I had to click 4 or 5 times using up valuable time on the clock. This could have been sooo much better with a tiny bit more effort on the part of the developer. A no buy for me.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Um...well, here's the thing This must be a re-release as I tried to download the game and it came back with the times up screen. Tried un-instaling and reloading that way - same result. I'm just putting this out here for your IT depet in the event that the game is buggy

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't bother Not only were the "stamps" boring to look at - they just kept repeating these fake modern-ish designs, but the text that kept appearing was tired and repetitive as well. There was little to no challenge to this - I won't even call it a game. BORING How cool if it could have been real stamps with interesting copy.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from PUZZLES ARE SUPPOSED TO BE RELAXING?? I'm a puzzle geek but I want puzzles that take me out of the zone and away from the hustle and bustle of the world. I want puzzles that have beautiful scenery in remote locations that I can only dream about visiting, pictures of wild animals in beautiful, vibrant colors, or even fantasy-themed pictures of Fairies, Gnomes, Dragons, or worlds seen through the artists' minds. Unfortunately, the only puzzles offered here are stamps...they aren't even stamps with colorful images or scenery, they are just pastel-colored, plain Jane stamps :( To make matters worse, they have 3 modes of difficulty, which in itself isn't so bad, but if you want to earn all 3-Stars, you have to play in the Hard Mode which is a Timed Mode (120 seconds) with 24 Pieces AND the pieces are constantly spinning...who wants to assemble spinning puzzle pieces?? The Normal Mode allows you to earn just 2-Stars, there is no timer but you must complete the puzzle within 60 moves AND the pieces are desaturated...they are ugly enough without desaturating them?? You can play on the Easy Mode without all the spinning desaturated pieces but you can only earn a single star... the worse concept I've ever seen in a puzzle game! There are 3 Features available on the right side. A Red Ticket that adds 1 Random puzzle piece, a Green Ticket that adds 3 Random Pieces, and a Blue Ticket that adds 20 seconds to the Timer, and eventually one that adds 20 extra steps or moves...the worse features I've ever seen in a puzzle! The Stars earned are used to purchase new Tickets, and the Stamps you complete are stored as a Collection that can be sold...whose buying them? You will collect 9 stamps from 9 different countries (Italy, U.K., France, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, Ukraine, Russia, and Japan)...the worse collections feature I've ever seen in a puzzle???
