Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is the Domini I love! Review based on trial. I have to admit was a little skeptical about playing this as Domini has been hit or miss lately for me. I have the first install of this (what I hope will be a long) series. I loved it. Well, I was pleasantly surprised, there was no garish, acid fueled coloring normally used by this developer, the storyline is fresh and timely, it was fun. I almost hate to admit it but I had a good time with this one. I will be buying it! Well done, Domini.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I Love it !!! I think twin minds is really very well done, compliments to domini. The story is exciting and there is a lot to do. The alternation between the two twins also makes for interesting variety. Of course, the graphics are also just great. I think there is a lot of potential for more stories in this series. Thanks to Domini for games that have a lot of content for the money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A GAME WHICH SPARKS MY POWER OF LOVE FOR HOPA GAMES REVIEW BASED UPON THE ENTIRE GAME 4 Chapters Plus a Bonus Chapter – Strategy Guide: 52 pages (My Time: 5 Hours) OPINION: Join the twin detectives, Eleanor, and Randall Jones, as they investigate another case in the second fantastic game within this series! Their filial love will be put to the test by a madman who will prove that the “power of love” is a force which can be used for many purposes. Play both detectives in a tag team effort to thwart a madman who is playing a game of cat-and-mouse with them. I like the concept alternating between these twin detectives, as it provides variety which keeps the game from becoming tedious and boring. The pace is excellent with a great story and many activities to keep a player entertained. The format is the same as in every one of Domini’s games. There are three collectibles. They are morphing ritual items, items belonging to a ghost named Patricia, and coins used to purchase items for a boudoir. However, unlike other games from this developer, I did find some of those collectibles difficult to locate. I thought the game was creatively designed and well-illustrated. For once, the strategy guide is error-free and well-written. I could not find anything I disliked about this game. It is not the best game this developer has created; however, it is an enjoyable game which should appeal to detective game lovers! MECHANICS: • Four (4) levels of play including a customized version. • 39 achievements. • Collect 15 morphing ritual items and 14 of things belonging to a ghost named Patricia • Collect 89 coins to purchase items for a boudoir • 29 Cutscenes • 10 wallpapers along with concept art, music, and video sequences • Replay 18 HOP scenes and 18 mini-games BONUS CHAPTER: It is another story. Play Eleanor minus her twin brother as she investigates the drowning of boy at a lake. A spirit is unleased from the lake due to this boy’s drowning, a drowning which is the deemed to be the result of foul play. Investigate this boy’s family and uncover some unsavory family secrets which led to his death. I found this chapter a nice addition to the game. There are five (5) HOP scenes and eight (8) mini-games. I like the fact this chapter has a story unrelated to that from the main game. I wish more developers would stop tying the bonus chapter in some way to the main game. For me, it is like having a second game to play. I found this an excellent chapter and worthy of the collector’s edition designation. HOP SCENES: There are eighteen (18) HOP scenes, all of which can be replayed at the end of the game. They include the usual lists of items and silhouette scenes. There are a couple of storybook scenes, searching for items highlighted in a narrative. There is a spot-the-differences scene, scenes in which fragments from the scene must be located. There are searches for twelve (12) instances of the same item such as newspapers within one scene. They are all highly interactive and well-designed. As in other games from this developer, a Match-3 game can be played instead. MINI-GAMES: There are twenty-seven (27) mini-games, eighteen (18) of which can be replayed at the end of the game. As in other games from this developer, the difficulty of the puzzles can be set in the menu. Most of the puzzles can be played in either an easy mode for an easy-breezy game or in a hard mode for those who want a more challenging game. SPOILERS: HERE ARE SOME OF THE MINI-GAMES AFTER THE DEMO: A. E/H. Tangram puzzle. Place tools into a box so all fit without overlapping. The hard version requires rotating the tools to make them fit. B. E/H. Connection puzzle. Pace connectors with prongs on the ends into a grid so all are used and all connect. The easy version has 12 connectors, and the hard version has 14 to connect. C. E/H. Sequence puzzle. Cut a jumble of wires in the proper order to remove them with the top wire cut before those under it. The easy version has less wires to cut than the hard version. D. E/H. Sequence puzzle. Click musical notes in the proper sequence according to given clues The order is given on beads around the neck of a doll. In the easy version the beads with symbols are posted in sequential order. In the hard version, arrows indicate the order of the sequence. BONUS CHAPTER: E. E/H. Maze puzzle. Push crates to their designated slots on a grid. Use arrows to move feet to push the crates forward. The easy version has 3 crates to move; the hard version has 4. F. E/H. In the easy version, adjust sliders on a radio to adjust the frequency of sine waves so they align with each other. In the hard version, the player will need to use a dial to adjust the height as well G. Lock puzzle. Using fingerprints on a safe, figure out the code to open a safe. H. E/H. Connection puzzle. Rotate pipe segments so they connect with each other to lead water out through 3 outlets. The hard version has more segments to rotate.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect game for hyperfocus I felt the need to utilize my hyperfocus and lucky me; this game came out. It was perfect for my ADHD moment and it was able to keep my focus, I didn't lose interest or spaces out. That's honestly an amazing feeling! I have a focus span of 17 minutes. But I've spent 2 hours on this. I loved the graphics, it was weirdly calming colours and soft 'outlines' in every picture frame. (some games have harsh edges on the objects) If you're looking for a chill but exciting game; and you get annoyed by the visuals in computer games. This is the game for you.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Be Careful Who You Trap Nice twisty plot. Our protagonists happen across a kidnapping that is more than it seems. The villain is intent on bringing back a lover at someone else's expense (this never works. Don't these people play any of these games themselves?) Twins Eleanor and Randall actually do love one another, which has a sort of gentle charm to it, but it makes them vulnerable to the very same thing that trapped the couple they're trying to save. However, trapping them is rather a different thing from trapping the original couple, rather like catching kittens in a cage and finding out that you have full-grown tigers on your hands. Our villain had better watch out! Pros: Excellent graphics, both in play and cut scenes. Good variety of HO puzzles, nothing new in the mini-games but all are very nicely presented - experienced players will want to play them at the selectable Hard level. Very likeable protagonists for a change with enough personality to keep from fading into cardboard cutouts. Their interplay is much better developed in this game as opposed to the previous entry in the series. This is one of the better two-POV games in recent memory, and you don't need the portrait in the task bar to know who you're playing as. Atmospheric music, very good voice acting. And a ghost who, for a change, is pretty fed up with the whole thing. Cons: Some of the most glaring spelling and translational errors in any game of recent memory pepper the game throughout. A screwdriver is called "shears", for example, which makes the player wonder if he or she should attempt to cut something with it (the answer is, thankfully, no) - so many that it's a source of unintended humor. Come on, Dev, hire an editor! Oh, and there was that one awkward spot where Randall apparently got shot, but then in the next scene he was fine again. Was that supposed to be a stun gun? Scratching my head a bit on that one. Bonus Game: Eleanor solos this one, a mystery involving family relationship difficulties and revenge. We have an encounter with an entertaining Spirit Of The Lake, who, far from approving of murder in its watery demesne, proves helpful in tracking down the culprit. Fair amount of play, fully CE worthy. Overall, a very workmanlike effort with a good plot, timely reveals, and enough personality in the player characters to make up for a bit of repetition in the game itself. Production values suffered from persistent linguistic sins - I got the impression that the game was released one step short of that all-important final review for consistency and coherence. Nevertheless, a nice whodunnit and well worth the time to play.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Where'd the proofreader go? This is the first sequel to this series. I thought it was fairly good. The story did jump all over the place a lot of times, and I wondered how I got from point A in the story to point B. I didn't recall anyone mentioning they had to go to an amusement park but I could have been zoning out. Everything was typical Domini. I think the story just made it a little better than those of late. I took off a star for grammar... to me that's just plain sloppy. They had their usual "put out the fire" with no fire in sight. They do this a lot. I haven't played the bonus chapter yet. I thought the main game was short for a Domini game. Usually they are longer. Yes, you'll need a fan to puff all that smoke away, and yes you'll need 14 types of cutters for wires, bushes, chains, etc. I think it's worth purchasing if you need a no think game for a lazy day. If you're looking for a challenge, I'd skip it.
