Royal Trouble: Honeymoon Havoc is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 39.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Humor in a game...instead of gross terror I tried the first game of this series as a sample - then lost track of it as well as forgot the name! Finally I came across again...then purchased it immediately. Then this 2nd game came out. I crossed my fingers hoping it was as fun and entertaining as the first. WHOOPEE! So much fun, dry humor and works your thinking skills. I purchased both the 1st and this 2nd game in this series. I love going back to them again and again!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What a stupendous game to play !!! And the antics go on and on in this one too !!! The game is such a delight to play...I really enjoyed myself...LOL I can't recommend this game for kids...there a few hilarious scenes that are just a wee bit risque...if you know what I mean !!! You have to find articles to advance to the next area...check everything and you'll be the winner !!! I found the artistry beautiful and grats to some very talented artists in this company !!! The music was ok too, There are some puzzles and mini-games and all are very easy to master...just stay focused and you'll win !!! It seemed like I played the game pretty fast and was very disappointed when I came to the end..is it me??? Or is the game just a short one !!! Anyways...I hope they bring more games out like this one...very enjoyable !!! This is the type of game every Fish addict should have in their library...you just can't go wrong. Enjoy everyone !!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Glad to see a sequel I really enjoyed this game and was glad to see another storyline, it goes back and forth between characters. Its not the typical dark sinister games that most HOG are. A refreshing new idea, I always suggest trying before buying but I think you will like this one!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Greatest game of its kind that I played! I am a big fish games addict. I love the storylines, love solving puzzles...but not so much hidden object scenes where you have to find items in the list. This game doesn't have that, but is instead packed with fun puzzles, great narration, and humor! How great is that? The graphics are great, I personally detest graphics that are much too real, movie-like, I want games to be gamey, if you know what I mean. But old dotted 2d graphics or poor polygon renders also stresses me out also (great example FFIX). The developers got the visuals are just right, great designs btw, and great music and sound. The narrator's voice that intervenes time to time when changing perspective from Loreen to Nathaniel (and vise versa) is very well done. I also loved the achievements section, something that is not too difficult to achieve (most games with achievement section have achievements that I say to myself "Wow, only a select few expert gameers are going to get that!") but in this game, any casual gamer can get 100% if they play the game carefully. Finding hidden lions were also an enjoyable challenges. Summary: Pros: 1. No hidden object scenes with "item lists to find" but great puzzles all the way! 2. Great visuals, sound 3. Changing perspectives (You play alternating between Loreen and Nathaniel) make game more interesting and fun 4. Extra features such as achievements, finding and collecting hidden Lions (those features are usually only available in collector's editions in other games). 5. Continuing from above, no collector's edition silliness with bonus chapters that renders the SE players from enjoying the full storyline. What you buy is the whole story in its full glory and glowing brightly in its completeness. Yay! 6. Fun storyline packed with surprises, vivid characters, and humor. Cons: 1. Wish the story was longer! Give us more play time! 2. Sequel please...wait, is this a valid con? 5+++ stars if I could give more stars. You just have to play it to see what I mean. For me, it's the most fun game out of all the big fish hidden object/puzzle/adventure game that I played! Absolutely recommend this game for gamers of all expertise!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun game! I loved this game. I'd had a barrel of fun on the first one, so I was really happy to see a sequel. I hope they do more, too. The story is fun, and the gameplay is fun. It's nice to see games that focus on humor and actually do a good job of it. It's not for HO fans, though, as there aren't any. This is an adventure game, not a HOPA. It's also nice to see a dev that still takes the time to draw their characters instead of using actors or waste space on bland voiceovers (I know, I'm probably alone in thinking that). The characters and art have personality and a distinctive style, and it fits in well with the tone of the game. Kudos for that! So I recommend both this game and the first one, and I hope they'll continue making them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Funnest, cutest, funniest HOG ever!! I wasn't sure about this after seeing the ad, but I downloaded a sample and what a treat!! Apparently, this developer hardly makes any games but, if you check out the reviews for those that they do make, you'll quickly realize that these people are perfectionists about what they do. Royal Trouble: Honeymoon has everything you want in a HOG adventure... but all of it comes in the exact perfect balance! It has a VERY funny storyline, simple but gorgeous scenery, great dialogue, cute music, never a dull moment... and most importantly, NO aimless trekking around to find pointless objects that have nothing to do with the storyline!! I was amazed at how they managed to integrate virtually every single task into the storyline, and connect every single object to the action. WHY don't more devs do this??? We want hidden object games where we're involved, not ones where we're reading an interesting story yet performing unrelated tasks! This should be obvious, but Royal Trouble is one of the only games I've found so far where the dev understands that this is how things should always be done. I will be impatiently awaiting the sequel. The puzzles were perfect for me, and had the right balance of logic and intuition. Interesting, but not impossible. The relationships were realistic, but also sassy and satirical enough to match the surreal situations in the game (which the characters spend a lot of time making fun of). There are constant twists, the man and the woman both do equal amounts of work... and best of all, they bicker enough to be a believable couple lol. I won't write anything more glowing than that because I don't want to ruin the fun of discovering this game for yourself... you should just try it! The only possible downside might be that, if you're a fan of doom and gloom, you won't like this too much. It's an uplifting game that more or less parodies the dark side of the genre. But I think that's what is so brilliant about it! Give it a whirl, you won't be sad you did... because you'll be too busy laughing!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Breath of fresh air... in a world where HOGs are usually realistically dark and have horror type themes, this is very light-hearted and even comedic. The graphics are a bit on the cartoonish side but that adds to the fun of the game without being childish at all. Gameplay has you playing both the two main characters, switching as the story progresses. The narration and the characters' lines are great and is where the comedic nature comes in. I would definitely recommend this game.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A carnival of a honeymoon! Just as delightful and humorous as the first one! Nat and Lor are still as charming as ever. For a royal couple they see their sure of trouble but that doesn't stop them. They can solve their way out of with not so hard puzzles. And along the way they get to see bright scenery listen to cheery music and meet interesting characters that help them. They don't need a map because everything is contained within the area. And of coarse, they get a laugh because they make us read all their texts! I highly recommend this game and the first one in this series! I hope the developers make another one just as good as these two!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love It, Love It, Love It. I loved the first Royal Trouble and was so excited to see the next one. I purchased right away and have not been disappointed. Even marriage has not stopped this royal couple from trying to upstage one another. Their bantering and humorous remarks put a smile on my face. Great graphics, good music and interesting characters that they encounter on their honeymoon escapade make this game so likeable. Enjoyable mini-games and puzzles and well no Hidden Objects that I remember seeing. A game to brighten up your day. I hope there are more sequels to this delightful game.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Honeymoon Havoc is Hilarious and a blast to play!!! This was an insta- buy after only minutes of the demo for me. Royal Trouble: Honeymoon Havoc is a hidden object adventure game in which your purpose is to navigate every scene and look for useful items that might come in handy later on. There are some actual puzzles to tackle as well, most of which require you to find specific objects before they can be activated. Hence, it’s a pretty addictive combination, at least if you are in the mood for a comical mystery. The story is not very complex, but it is pretty fun and engaging. As such, Loreen and Nathaniel decide to spend their honeymoon visiting the Merry Castle, a fun park containing all sorts of rollercoasters and magic tents. However, it all goes wrong when a villain Lord Drak decides to make their life a living "you know what" by removing all the fun bits and leaving only deadly traps behind. (Giggle) Each location has multiple scenes you must investigate carefully, because you need every item in order to solve the puzzles and open the way further into the game. It becomes rather repetitive after a while, but it’s certainly addictive if you are a fan of the genre. On top of it all, the puzzles can be quite demanding sometimes, even if you have the option to skip them entirely on the lower difficulty levels. Speaking of which, the levels are very detailed and nicely designed, which makes for a memorable journey throughout the game. This is mostly thanks to the great artwork and the colorful graphics, even if the scenes are static and there is no actual interaction with the environment except for the scripted events. There is also some really funny narration to keep the illusion going and inspire some personality into the characters. The voice of the narrator cracked me up with his remarks about Loreen and Nathaniel. This is also A great sequel for the fans of the original. All in all, Royal Trouble: Honeymoon Havoc is a must have game for hidden object lovers, especially if you are in the mood for a few puzzles as well. On top of that, the atmosphere is nice too, and the story is interesting enough to keep you playing. I look forward to more SE like this and I will definitely buy the first Royal Trouble game. Players of every level are in store for a wacky wonderful adventure. ??
