In the 2nd instalment of our "5 Star Resort" series Lucy gets a follow-up job from her father, hotel mega mogul Mr. Rich. A new luxury resort is to be built on Hawaii, and management will have to be perfect in the first few months. Guests visiting Hawaii are famous for being notoriously fussy. Lucy accepts the challenge and once again trusts her established team. What Lucy didn't expect was that on this hotel project every wish and whim of the guests will be more important than ever! She quickly finds that when things get rough, she'll have to get involved herself. In lightning-quick time management games you will help her serving the many impatient guests queuing hungrily at the buffet. Will Lucy be able to satisfy their high expectations?

Once again you can look forward to entertaining tasks and exciting challenges with some serious Aloha feeling.

Customer Reviews
5 Star Hawaii Resort is rated 3.4 out of 5 by 11.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this series! This is a great game. Loved the other one also. I like that you can go from advanced to casual without starting a new game. Some of the levels are almost impossible to get through with the amount of moves available so what the heck - go down to casual to get to the next level. Love the graphics. The storyline is terrific! I hope they keep going with this series. Just like Zombie Solitaire! They rule!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The 7-layered cake sealed the deal for me! YUMMY! I love all the background water: the pools and the sea. Waves crashing, birds tweeting and the fun music, are nice too. My only wish is that the music was on a separate control so that I could still get the other sounds when I'm done with the cha-cha-cha/rhumba. I also can't get enough of the explosion sounds and funny squelching...which must be the melon! Relaxing. Just what I needed. Not particularly challenging. Just right. A gradual introduction to more and more obstacles to overcome. Other reviews have gone into detail with this part, but basically there are 3 challenge levels which is good. There are no annoying "clue" arrows if you fail to make an immediate decision. I'm playing in "limited moves." I'm not sure if you get clues in relaxed mode or not.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hawaii Resort Based on the first 20 levels. I am playing "Normal" which gives you a limited number of moves. At the beginning this game seems rather easy as all the power ups are on the board. As explained by others, 4 match gives you bombs; five a rocket and six lightening. After level 15 the game becomes more involved and you need to think about how many moves you have and how many "guests". I happen to like Roka games and highly recommend this one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from fun I very much enjoyed this game. I can see where the creators used much of the same aspects of the Zombie solitaire series for this game but so do the creators of the Cursed House series which I love. Here you create a five star resort by playing Match 3 games and earning money to buy upgrades. I play relaxed so I can take my time and enjoy the play. I think if you give it a try you will like it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I JUST BOUGHT A 5 STAR HOTEL RESORT FOR 100 BUCKS! My only complaint is that there's nothing new or even slightly different offered, in any Match 3 game by rokapublish. I've been playing the new Zombie Solitaire lately, and the Match 3 game available as a mini-game in Zombie Solitaire is exactly the same,(and exactly the same in Fantasy Quest, Atlantic Quest etc.) and so is the mini-games in 5 Star Hawaii Resort, where you select the food in the exact order shown, for each customer before they reach the line, which doesn't have as much impact when zombies aren't trying to eat your brains! You can play in a Normal difficulty mode, which gives you a normal amount of Moves to complete the level goals, a Casual mode which gives you more moves to complete the goals or a Relaxed mode which doesn't limit the number of moves. You can turn on/off the bouncing coins (just like Zombie Solitaire) as well. Most of the level goals require you to make a specific amount of matches of specific tiles that are shown in small bubbles surrounding each customer icon. Mr. Rich, aka dad, has asked Lucy to start a new resort in Hawaii, so you will purchase a hotel and all the amenities that make a Hotel a resort such as a swimming pool, gym, shops, bars and even pizza places. There are 96 levels available, 15 Trophies to earn (when you earn an achievement you'll need to click on the trophy to collect reward money) and you can earn up to 3 stars per level, and any level can be re-played. Large Matches will give you a Power-up on the board, but there aren't any boosters or power-ups available to use at your discretion. A Match 4 gives you a Bomb which explodes a 9 tile radius, a Match 5 gives you a Rocket which targets several tiles across the board, and a Match 6 gives you Lightning which destroys an entire column and row. The Obstacles are the usual, Sand covered tiles requiring a match on them to remove the sand, Grass tiles require two separate matches, Chains, and Double Chains require either 1 or 2 matches of the same tile chained, Crates require an adjacent match to destroy and Reinforced Crates require matches next to the exposed sides (crates will drop if matches are made under them) Ice Cubes will also slide if matches are made under them but will break if an adjacent match is made. Stone Tiles are the most difficult to destroy, they require several hits by either a bomb or lightning. Occasionally, there are remote boards that can only be accessed by using rockets to target the stone blocks that are preventing a clear path to the other boards. If you already own a Match 3 game by this dev, you probably won't see the need to buy this game because it's exactly the same as any or all other M3 games by rokapublish. I'm not saying this game isn't good, quite the opposite, but it is identical to the first 5 Star Resort (Rio) game, and all other Quest M3's they offer, enjoy the vacation! 5 STAR RESORT GAMES AVAILABLE Title***Release Date***Average Rating 1-5 Star Rio Resort (August 7-2017) 4.2 2-5 Star Hawaii Resort (April 30-2018) n/a by Rokapublish: Gernsheim, Germany founded in 2007 (While originally focussing on licensing casual games only, our creative team of developers soon began producing their own games for various genres. Rated 3 out of 5 by from Just another match-3 with buildings Nothing wrong with this. But nothing to make me add it to my existing large stable of match-3s. If you want one--or another one--this one would be a fine choice.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from No five stars here Loved the 5 star Rio game so grabbed this. Sorry I did. What happened to the solitaire games for extra money? Where's the power-ups like the hammer, cupcake and bow and arrow? Some bombs, lightening bolts and a rocket which come up after so many groupings. Not meaning to look a gift horse in the mouth but want like last time - power-ups dropped to the bottom of the board and you could accumulate them for future use. Just a buncha mindless clicking and no enthusiasm on the buildings offered for purchase. Any more "5 Star Whatever" will avoid.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Zombies on Vacation I recognized these Devs right away. Their Zombie solitaire series is a fav. Yet Seem like the Devs went on vacation with this new game. Play time is super short. Game falls into boredom quite quickly. It lacks the charm of their previous games. I suggest you wait for their next release. Hopefully it will recapture the fun.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Fun for the first bunch of levels but beware... They run out of things to purchase. Seriously. This was a problem with their previous games and the developer response was something like "yeah, we ran out of ideas". Wow.
