Customer Reviews
Solitaire Beach Season: Sounds Of Waves is rated 2.9 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from I TOTALLY DISAGREE WITH NEGATIVE REVIEWS This is a good game where you are challenged to find the gold cards in a one up/one down solitaire game. You can start as a Newbie which allows you to "replay" each level until you reach the maximum number of points then you can proceed to the next panel. There are ten games in one panel. Or if you feel lucky you can start as a Professional but you cannot repeat a panel until the entire game is over. So for more fun I recommend the "Newbie". Give it a try you might enjoy it. Some of the cards have star fish on them and they will give you money to buy joker cards, shuffle cards, or actually sometimes give you a perfect score.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I really enjoy these games I love the challenge. Your goal is to get the gold cards. In every level there are what I call dead cards that you simply do not need but maybe they can help you? You have to be very aware of the goal which is to get to those gold cards in order to win the level. Yes, some call these cookie cutter games but I see where they have changed and evolved and gotten better so to me I still enjoy them a lot. You get money to buy power-ups which can sometimes be a big help. They are very generous with the money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from SOLITAIRE BEACH SEASON: SOUNDS OF WAVES = PERFECT!! The graphics are fresh and very beautiful, game play is smooth and the music is spot on!!! I have soooo many solitaire games, but checked this one out anyway. Glad I did!! Everything works in sync to take you away from the cares of the world and make you feel good! Give it a try, you owe it to yourself!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from There are Better, but There are Worse! A below average one-up-one-down solitaire game. This developer spits them out one after another, with basically the same game changed by the card backs and the background scenes. That's great for fans who LOVE the one-up games, but I prefer a bit of variety. I play one-up solitaires often, some are very good. I actually have one by this developer on my desktop right now (Detective Solitaire), which I play now and again. A few hands here and there when I'm waiting for something else. It's good enough to say, "One more hand and I'll go to bed..." and find I want to play a few more until I get a perfect score. This one isn't as good as that, even though it has the exact same game play, power-ups etc. There are no stories to the games, in spite of the fact they have names that would suggest a storyline. That's fine with me. At least I am not interrupted with side games of restoring a village with resources gained during play! There are the usual upgrades to purchase. The game moved quickly, no glitches. I did not have the problem of multiple cards turning over at one time... in THIS game. I did recently have that issue with Flowers Garden Solitaire. For me, why buy another if you already own one. Start your old one again, you'll never know the difference!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from not a bad game but... when will they learn It would have been a purchase for me IF I could have finished each game. Obviously the developers do not read the reviews for their games. Give us the option to FINISH the game instead of it ending automatically when all the gold cards are collected. If you are a true solitaire lover this game is not for you.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Annoying and disappointing Wish I had paid more attention to reviews and comments. I love a good solitaire game but this was boring and monotonous not to mention I hate the type of solitaire where you have to have a certain number of cards on each "group" or you have to go back and play some of the levels over before you can progress on in the game. Complete waste of time and a free game coupon.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Impossible I always liked these games even though they are almost the same with varying twists, so I bought it to pass time in between my other games. I am almost at the end on Newbies. One more level to go. I always play to achieve all gold stars.(All of the cards needed to get perfect). In fact I don't move on until I do. I just keep adding money to my pot. I currently have over 400000 which I am going to need to go further than a newbie.. The thing is these games are very close to impossible and you have to use jokers just to get some of the star cards. I am frustrated at this latest addition because it is clearly unattainable to get perfect without jokers and even then VERY hard to get perfect using 5 to 10 jokers in one hand. NO JOKE (haha). This is probably the last one by this developer I will but. Too aggravating when I play solitaire to relax.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Simplistic Cookie Cutter Solitaire This developer is exactly like the penguin mosaic game developer. They change the title, theme, and some of the backgrounds and call it a new game. This is a straight-forward solitaire game that you can play on your tablet or phone for free. The graphics are minimal and the music gets annoying after a while. There are very few upgrades and those they have are the same basic ones. There's nothing new or innovative here. If you have played, or own, any previous games in this series, then you have played THIS one.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from OH LOOK, THEY CHANGED THE TITLE, THAT MAKES IT A NEW GAME? Here we go again! I don't like to be negative about a game just because I didn't have fun playing it because it's not the dev's fault that it didn't appeal to me personally. But this is an entirely different scenario because the games offered by this particular dev never change, all they do is re-title it or add a number (season 1, season 2) In this case, they offered Solitaire Beach Season 1, 2 and 3 already, so they retitled it to Solitaire Beach Season: Sounds of Waves. The Levels themselves are just recycled layouts taken from the other solitaire games with different backgrounds, how much work does that involve? That's not even the main reason I dislike these Solitaire Games! My biggest complaint is that #1, they only offer one type of Solitaire game, the Golf type where you play 10 levels with scoring similar to bowling. (in all fairness they also occasionally offer Match 2 cards, Mahjong style solitaire games too, but you still only have to remove the gold cards to win) #2, they only offer the feature of removing the Gold Cards to win and end the level, even if there are a ton of remaining cards on the board. Not being able to remove all of the cards on the board drives me absolutely bonkers! IF this dev would simply tweak this feature to allow for the OPTION of continuing to play after removing all of the gold cards for points, I would be "all in" and I'd climb back on the 8floor train! You can choose from 9 Themed card decks and 3 different types of face card fonts. You must start the game in Newbie mode until the tutorial shows you all the features or you click to disable the tutorial. Newbie Mode allows you to replay any of the 10 levels in a deck as often as you'd like, and the Professional mode only allows you to replay the entire 10 level pack. In the case of a perfect score, the points of the current level will be added to the points of the next level similar to bowling scores. The only features offered are Jokers, a Shuffle feature and an Undo feature, that can be purchased in the shop. Cards that have a Star on the top left are special Bonus Cards that usually give you +499 Coins, but sometimes gives you a Mulligan's (undo) a Joker (wildcards) or a Shuffle (shuffles the cards and re-deals new ones) The goal of each level is to remove the Gold cards from the board which will give you the maximum amount of points, even if other cards remain on the board. I just hate that I can't play until I remove all of the cards from the board. This is just another boring, Golf/Bowling type Solitaire game that is exactly the same as all of the other solitaire games by this dev. I just can't give kudos to a dev that never bothers to change any feature or add features that we continue to ask for time and time again, but if they do, I'll be more than happy to give them a more positive review!
