5-BN Remembers!
I want to send a special thank you to the developers at 5-BN. You guys remember the quality of the games that BFG had when back in the days that it developed many of its own games. From the opening sequence I was smiling with the quality of the game graphics. The puzzles were of a good difficulty level and the story was fantastic and engaging. I would give this game 10 stars if I could!

Intelligent story, good gaming
I loved returning to the Lost Lands again. This series has an appealing story and this last game is another valuable add to that. Yes, it is your usual hidden object game in a way... but objects are not just piled up and are needed for a sound reason; the steps you have to take are not solved to easily. And then finding out that changing the past is not to be taken lightly (and having to repair what I did) made it an experience worthwhile for me.

Another FANTASTIC Game
I really enjoy the Lost Lands series and Mistakes of the Past Collector's Edition is another great game in the series.
Rare for me to give a 5 star rating but it is well deserved.
Each new game in this series has been just as good if not better than the preceding ones.
The maps, the story, the game play, the art... all are top rate and lots of fun to play.
I loved everything about it, the hogs, the puzzles, all were innovative and a pleasure. I just wish we had more games that are as well designed and where the developers seem to pay attention to detail. Most games offered in the past few years lack of originality, its cookie cutter, same old, same old, repetitive content.
Lost Lands Mistakes of the Past is pure enjoyment with not one minute of ho-hum boring gameplay.
Thank you developers for your efforts and excellence that is much appreciated !

Believe the hype
This addition to the Lost Lands game series is excellent! Everything about the series is on point and is beautifully done. As per usual the graphics story line and over all game play is top notch and is a game that even my husband who considers himself a "serious gamer" enjoyed. Well done to the five B-N games and keep up the excellent work with not only this series but also all the other ones that are just as wonderful. On a side note i believe a new addition to the New York Mystery series is in order.

Stunning Game!
I don't write these reviews very often, but this game was so well done I felt I had to. Rarely has there been a hidden object game that was this well thought out. The thing that stands out the most is that the feeling of urgency throughout the game. The cut scenes are exciting and keep you on the edge of your seat, and the animation, voiceovers and story line are all top notch. I dislike overly complicated stories that require a lot of explanation, so this one was a welcome change. It's the Butterfly Effect in action. Make a mistake in the past and it affects the future. It's a great premise, only this isn't Marty McFly and Doc Brown. It's serious business when you've angered a wizard!
Having the protagonist on the run -- actually on the run -- makes for an exciting adventure you don't want to miss.
If I have one complaint, it's that the instructions for a couple of the mini-games were a little confusing, but nothing too major. You'll be able to work them out on your own.
Don't miss this game. It's a winner!

SUSAN, YOU'VE DONE IT AGAIN
REVIEW OF COMPLETED GAME AND BONUS
What a fabulous time travel game and I enjoyed every minute of it. In the main game you once again play Susan who has to kill Cassandra in the past on orders from Maaron. The bonus game is how it all began. There is:
* Casual, Advanced, Hard and Custom modes;
* Voiceovers (with dialogue);
* Interactive map;
* 22 Achievements;
* Diary;
* 22 replayable mini-games and 7 replaying puzzles.
* Find 30 morphs, 7 picture frames, 7 claws, 8 urns, 8 spiders; 9 manuscripts in the main game and 12 roses in the bonus.
The graphics are gorgeous and very well defined. Each scene is beautiful and very clear to see. Sound is good and the music is orchestral and now well familiar as it has been played in the previous Lost Lands games to keep you company.
The hidden object games are silhouette where you have to find one item to use to find another, etc. I loved doing these as they had a pretty good challenge to them and you also have little mini-games in them as well.
The mini-games ranged from easy to hard. Some took me ages to accomplish, however they are fun to do and I was never bored or felt out of my depth.
In each scene there is a morph and a collectible to find. I did these first as I didn't want to miss any. I turned the "hand" off to make it more challenging. This is the only developer I know who does this and I thank them from the bottom of my heart.
The interactive map works well and it also shows what morphs or collectibles need to be found in each scene just in case you need it. This time I didn't need to use the interactive map, but I have used it before in a previous game.
Keep an eye on your diary as it shows things that you need to know to progress through the game.
All up the game, bonus and extra 20 puzzles took me a good 10 hours to complete, playing a bit each night throughout the week. I truly loved the story and mechanics of this game and that is why I have all this developer's games.
Overall a terrific game and so worth buying. Happy playing fishies.

Love 5-BN games
This is a challenging game. This one was very smooth in the action and even the newest gamer would be able to figure out how to get to the end, with enough challenging elements thrown in for the more veteran gamer. I think this particular game had a very original story line and it certainly kept my interest for the whole game. I would recommend this one to everyone.

The best game in a long time
The Lost Lands series are one of my favourites and this sequel is one of the best in the series.
Challenging minigames and a story line which is very different from all the other games with good versus evil.
