Cursed House 6 is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 20.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for the intermediate and the experienced player.. The new casual level with unlimited moves and unlimited time is what really makes the game enjoyable for me. I find the game is still pretty hard, One must like the challenge of solving puzzles. The directions are vague and I must admit sometimes I am not sure how I solved some of the more advanced levels so far (LOL). So now I know why it is called "Cursed House..."

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another Curse has been placed!! I love these cursed house games. I have all of them as soon as I see a new version it's pretty well a purchase right away. It's still the same format meaning your typical match 3, but they do change it up a little on each version. I purchased this game as well. I recommend this game!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the Cursed House series from the 3rd one and up These games are great! I love the fact that they are not based only on limited moves although you can select that mode. I like time based games and most match 3's do not come with that option anymore. These are match 3's are a puzzle plus matching 3. The Laruaville games designed by the same people are the same and I play them over and over again and they are always fun to play! Just wish they would produce more games like this more often!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WAS HOPING FOR A HALLOWEEN GAME And here it is! Love the Cursed House games and this came out just in time for Halloween. There's nothing really to add for those who have played the other CH games - same game play with the exception of different look to the board pieces - but still fun with just enough but not too many mini games (my pet peeve) but love the solitaire mini games and am finding this rather easier than the other CH games - maybe practice makes perfect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I've been watching for Cursed House 6 Beginning the week leading up to Halloween, I hoped every day that I would see a new Cursed House. I have Cursed House 3,4,5 and knew I would add 6 whenever it appeared. I was delighted to see it and downloaded the trial version a few minutes after it became available. After playing it for a few minutes, I purchased it. There really was never any doubt that I would get it. This is one of my very favorite game series, hands down. I agree with another comment here that it never gets old - it's a unique match 3 and the hidden object, find-the-difference and solitaire games that occasionally pop up are fun, too. It's a nice variety. As has been said here and in other Cursed House reviews - remember that it's all about the coins. No matter what else is going on in the game, target the coins and you will win the level. This game is a total delight. There are others who do a superb job of going into great detail about the game, so I will leave that to them. I really do recommend giving this game a try. There's a lot going on; but over a period of time, if you hang in there I think you'll be hooked on this game series, too. Don't get discouraged quickly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's a winner! I love this series and this one is as appealing as Cursed House 5 was. I love the new graphics. The play seems to be the same formula, but that's ok. I don't need surprises. It's a win-win formula that works for me. Going to buy it right now!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A SPECIAL HALLOWEEN TREAT FOR YOUR GOODIES BAG It is not necessary for me to go into a lot of detail on Cursed House 6 as my favorite reviewer, Pennmom, has already given you the complete rundown of what to expect. I’m not sure how I missed last year’s Cursed House 5 but because I think that Cursed House 6 is so terrific that I immediately purchased both games. Match 3 games are a mixed bag at times but IMHO you can’t beat the Cursed House games during the Halloween season. Cursed House 6 is one of the absolutely best match 3 games ever. The thing that I love about these games is that one gets to use the brain rather than simply the mouse to make matches. Having to think about the best way to reach your level goal and to earn those coins is what makes the game fun for me. At first glance it might look easy to meet the level goal (and it is in the beginning) but one does need to stop and think about the best way to clear all of the obstacles and earn those coins. Cursed House 6 is absolutely a game to be played not only at Halloween but all year long if you want to fun to keep you entertained and thinking. Kudos to the development team for creating a special treat for all match 3 fans. Happy gaming

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just in Time For Halloween The Spooky Cursed House is back with another adventure of Restoration of a Cursed Castle. The same spooky music and all the same features. Love this game and have all the others in the series. Played the demo and bought art after a few levels. Sure beats going out for Trick or Treating for Sweets. I recommend this game.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from SPOOKTACKULAR CURSED HOUSE JUST IN TIME FOR HALLOWEEN This series never gets old! This is one of the few Match 3 Games that requires you to use strategy to beat the levels, and one of my top 5 favorite M3 game series. This game is all about the coins, nothing else matters, but getting to those coins isn't as easy as you may think They have added a High Difficulty mode (which I haven't attempted yet!) and a Casual Difficulty mode and both modes can be played in a Timed Mode, a Limited Moves Mode (which I recommend) or a Relaxed Mode and you can switch between modes on different levels to help you beat difficult levels. Eventually, you will be given the option to skip a difficult level without penalty, after several replay attempts, and in the Bonus Levels, you will receive interactive hints after 10 replay attempts. The Cursed House, which is actually a Cursed Town this time, is filled with evil spirits, that can only be banished by an ancient Amulet. The Amulet can only be powered by collecting hundreds of coins, so once again, this cursed house needs a cleansing of its domain of evil spirits. Large matches will give you a Power-up, and power-ups are critical because most coins are blocked by obstacles that require a power-up to destroy them. A match 4 will give you Dynamite to explode by moving it or by double-clicking. A match 5 will give you a Morphing Power-up to choose either a Rocket which targets obstacles, Lightning which destroys all identical tiles match with, or a Dynamite Barrel. You can choose the power-up by clicking on the power-up as it morphs, and if you chose the wrong one, you can cancel it by right-clicking. Levels with Trunks require you to collect Trunk Coins and when all trunk coins have been found, you need to make a match adjacent to the trunk or trunks that will vibrate to alert you that all trunk coins have been located. Once the trunks are opened, you receive bonuses and other parts of the board are unlocked. Some levels have Cannons that require you to make matches next to the wick to fire the cannon to start a chain reaction, some cannons are locked and you must make matches in front of the key to allow the key to move towards the lock. Firing the cannon also opens up other parts of the board. There are several types of coins besides the gold coins and trunk coins, Dusty coins that need two matches, coins that are split in half requiring matches in front of the pieces to join the two halves. Coins that need to be filled in by collecting falling drops of liquid or gold by dropping them off the board to fill a vial. Bug coins need to be collected to get rid of pesky bugs that annoy you, and Red bugs need to be pushed off of the board because they are invulnerable to power-ups. Some tiles have obstacles such as chains or boarded tiles, some boarded tiles have shields that require matches made on the sides without the shield for more challenge, or a power-up. There are Stone tiles, Lava tiles, Chained tiles, ice tiles, Rock tiles and Fog tiles that require either a match adjacent to them, most but not all obstacles can be destroyed with lightning explosions or bombs. There are even Green and Red Hot Stone tiles that require matches on top to destroy them. Torches will spread the flame as adjacent matches are made, which needs to reach frozen tiles or flameless torches. The Ray of Light shoots a beam of light to destroy the Darkness, but a path must be cleared first.....the not so easy scenario! After playing a few levels, you get to play a Mini Game such as Higher/Lower Solitaire that has an extra slot to store any face-up card to use in a match later and unblock cards on the board. There are also Hidden Object Scenes and one of my favorite games, Spot The Difference which has very subtle differences and isn't as easy as you'd expect. This is the kind of Match 3 game that can be purchased before playing it because FRH Games doesn't bring duds to the table and I've never been disappointed with any of their games, enjoy!
